    I don't personally collect bones but I love hearing about others collections!! Also, you're doing really well with tarot so far! A cool thing I heard when I first started reading tarot was "tarot is %50 about the card meaning and %50 about your intuition," which I think was said by the Sydney shea on tiktok ❤

    I can relate to the feeling that nothing matters because it’s just scientific and measurable facts. Finding spirituality and witchcraft really helped my mental health too. As a lifelong atheist it helped me to view it as the connection between me and the world. The world is scientific, I am just an animal, but in the meeting between them, where my brain interprets and relates to the world, that is where magick and spirituality is for me. (Sorry if it didn’t make sense, English is not my first language either) Also, loved your video!

      I understand perfectly! And no worries, I’m not a native English speaker myself, so I wouldn’t judge ;) it’s actually very reassuring to hear someone else has gone through a similar thing.
      I’m happy we’ve both found something that makes life feel a bit more meaningful!😄

    Every tarot deck has a meaning for its cards while there's many ways of reading any tarot card, so youre right in reading the "manual" it cames with. But they are more like an visual north for you to get in touch with your intuition in the process, thats integral in the reading (i had a tator card teacher for a couple months that thought me all of this)

    I think that if you honor them, the bones arent complete attached to the animal's soul once it passed away, and it becomes simply a source of energy (in my opinion)
    But yeh, the tarot card said dont use lol

  • @blaisegirl420

    I love that you said that's why you started collecting them in the first place. The wands are usually tied in with inspiration and the 5 is about competition and the 1, origin like you said. So, maybe it's telling you to remember why you started in the first place and don't think more more more, but appreciate why you got started in the first place and show love to some of the first pieces you had that got you started. The lovers card is also known as the choice card so you could do it if you want but I don't think that really vibes with you. The chariot was an awesome final card and I totally agree with your interpretation. It's not fair for people to pressure you into doing something because they think it's a golden spiritual opportunity but spirituality is about finding your connection with god or the earth or the universe, whatever, through your own inner exploration. Also when you're using an animals bones or carcass in a spell the idea is that you're literally transforming their energy into something else, melding it into something else and then using what you created for xyz. You're doing really great and your interpretations are spot on, especially if you get answers you don't like. I really enjoyed seeing you explore this and share about your bone collection and connection to their energy. love to see more videos like this
    PS Your room is virgo paradise lol I'm not a virgo but it looks very nice, calming and grounding and idk if you had a saturn necklace on but if so, that's awesome too lol k baiii ttyl

    The tarot card is kind of an entity, so you wont like influence to tell you what you want, but you do use your energy to interpret the message, its a co-op work. Always ask permission to ask and draw an answer card before, i learned, like the consent thing. "Do you want to tell me what i wanna know now?" (You can draw 3x to confirm)

    Thought you might like this idea possibly. It’s something I plan to start doing soon. I’m going visit a nearby cemetery. I don’t have anyone there personally, and I’m new to this area.
    But here’s the plan. I like the idea of paying respects to someone who might not get thought of much anymore. (Or maybe, their relatives have also past on, some of the stones are very very old)

    • @jaybek7707
      @jaybek7707 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just a stranger. It might be nice to put something there just to acknowledge their life, maybe a few flowers.

    hi Sweetie!
    I see there are a lot of new ppl discussing this. So, maybe some rules/laws?
    1. In America, it is a federal crime to possess any part of a migrating bird. Also raptors. That's the basics. Only Native Americans in a registered tribe may possess hawk and eagle feathers.
    2. Take a little, leave a little. When I worked as a Teacher/Naturalist, we were told never to pick up bones. (Well, at least on duty.) Leave some for the little chewing rodents for their calcium intake.
    Cheers!

  • @Meeko4eve39
    @Meeko4eve39 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Not exactly my thing, but I also don't particularly mind you talking about it or you or anyone else being interested in or fascinated by it. I mean, as long as nobody is forced into anything and as long as, for example, the bones keep being sourced responsibly it's really not doing anyone any harm. So why should I mind?
    And you're clearly getting something out of it that enriches your personal life, so why should I judge that or be mad about that? That's a good thing, after all. Especially if it does help your depression as you mentioned in the beginning of the video.
    Just some thoughts I had on the topic in general.

    • @Kovukingsrod
      @Kovukingsrod  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you so much for sharing your point of view! It is massively appreciated to hear kind words coming from someone who isn’t particularly interested in this themselves.
      I think that there’s a lot of stigma to things like this, and it is seen as something “scary” or “bad” and is, in my opinion, heavily misunderstood. People partaking in these things do it because it is meaningful to them, and as you said - as long as it is safe (which is especially important when it comes to harvesting bones from wild animals) and doesn’t affect anyone else, I don’t see why it should be judged so harshly. Your point of view is very refreshing, thank you!

    • @Meeko4eve39
      @Meeko4eve39 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Kovukingsrod You're very welcome :) I have to admit that personally I'd find skulls or bones lying around in my home a little bit scary. At least if they come from animal species that are currently still alive. I have somewhat of an interest in paleontology, though, and personally own a few fossils, which is basically mineralised bones of long dead creatures. That I don't find scary at all. I guess, I kinda find the aspect of bones coming from animals that I'd otherwise still see walking around a little bit unnerving.
      But thinking about it a little bit more I guess having a deer skull in your home is not necessarily particularly more scary than having the fossilised shell of an ammonite species in your room, I suppose.
      My other "hot take" on why (at least in Europe/the West) such things might (at least initially) be seen as "scary" or "bad" is that that probably has to do with the demonisation and otherwise aggressive politics around Paganism or related spiritual concepts of the so-called heathens when Europe went through Christianisation.* Which I suppose was so effective that even if you (like me) grow up basically atheistic and non-religious (because there are atheistic religions/spiritualities) the lingering culture of "Paganism/Heathen culture = bad/demonic/primitive" kinda sips through by way of unintentional cultural osmosis...
      But again. My main point is that as long as no harm is done, why should anyone care/be upset/judge someone else for what they do with their spiritual side (or absence thereof) 😊
      *Not that I'd blame any present day Christian for that or judge them based on their religion or whatever. I'd apply the same stance of "If no harm is done by them by way of believing in a specific thing or practicing a specific religion or whatever, why should I judge that?". And also it's really unfair to judge present day people for something that people of the same culture have done a long friggin time ago... This is just my attempt at a historical explanation (or at least part of it - because the advent of the scientific method and focus on being rational probably also contributed a lot) for why people might react with this notion of "skulls/bones/rituals = scary/bad"

    I was always fascinated by bones. I even consumed a lot of science books about it when I was small and collected a lot even though I don't really have a collection or do it that much nowadays but whenever I find bones in the forest I pick them up.
    I really do not see a contradiction between science and spirituality. Spirituality can be misguided and ignorant and people who think they are scientific can be that as well. I'd say the goal should be to know who you are both in your entirety including all the physical structures as well as the higher dimensional structures, your consciousness. Science and spirituality aren't two different religions, spirituality is who you are beyond the physical dimension and science is the process of questioning and thereby understanding the universe. They will meet some day for they are both fundamentaly a system for finding the truth and the truth is indistinguishable from god, vishnu, allah, source or the physical universe.
    Indeed everything is ultimately measurable by the right technique but that does not mean that it is not sacred or meaningful. After all we are here to forge our own meaning. That is what we do when we try to learn about how the universe works and what our place in it is. A true scientist will always wonder in awe about the depth and the interesting details of reality he has yet to understand, the questions he has yet to ask.

    I love spiritual stuff, usually. Unfortunately I lost my faith in it cos no sign ever came to me that the spiritual world exists. I have had barely any encounter with spirits even when I am very in tune with sense and feeling. I guess spirits hide from me or I just don't look in the right places. I tried readings but ones on my own without paying anyone etc cos of expenses and just cos I want to do my research and not get scammed. Tarot somehow gets avoided a lot cos it's tied to evil and that's stupid. Only when using the cards wrong for the wrong reasons, it's dangerous. Like everything in the world. I just wish I could have a spiritual experience . But so far, nothing. I don't want to get haunted nor attacked by spirits. I set up boundaries, but where else can I do these things safely and with people who want to try it out in my life. ...
