Rusty Broken Meat Cleaver Restoration - Restoration Videos
Hi again my friends, we are meeting again after just a small amount of time. And yes, I have prepared another cleaver restoration video for you. This is a different meat cleaver other than the one in the older video. Handle is oval shaped and it has a hook. Not diving into deep details, I invite you to start watching. Enjoy. See you in the next project, take care.

The hook is useless now tho, its supposed to be a hook you can use to move big pieces of meat easier. The angle of the hook is not going to be easy to dig into anything. It does make for a great hook to hang the cleaver on the wall.. as you shown in the video. 😄

Beautiful job, as always! I have a question about welding that I hope you or another viewer can help me with. At the joint that is welded, the welding process adds another metal from the 'wire' (I don't know the real term). What would be used for a hook/cleaver like this one, and is it as strong as the parts being welded together? If not, wouldn't there always be an invisible weakness? Thanks.
