Dude! That knife turned out awesome! And i love the way the screw fit in flush in the cap. Great job! And I appreciate that the sharpness test was on a grape and not a piece of paper.
I’ve tried watching several other similar channels to scratch the itch but none of them can match the odd charm of Forgotten Shine. I always come back.
Beautiful restoration job you did transforming a rusty machete into a kitchen knife. Even the pitted surface looks better and gives the knife a unique look. It also cuts cleanly. Excellent work.
It took a lot of effort even to restore, now take a moment to think of those who give more importance to other thinks than the Almighty creator of the universe.
A recommendation. Round handles make edge alignment more difficult, and affect how well something can cut. I’d recommend rectangular or oval handles instead.
Hello, my friend. As always, the video is viewed in one go. Please tell me how many percent of your videos are watched in the USA and how many percent in India
I'm completely ignorant to your profession and I admittedly have no idea how electrolysis removes rust…but wouldn't sandblasting remove the rust faster and easier? Genuinely asking.
Seeing these relics come back to life is absolutely satisfying to see
🥰🤩🐢

Good job!!!
3:29 Very cool holder for sharpening on the belt grinder, you can really work on any knife.
It took a lot of effort even to restore, now take a moment to think of those who give more importance to other thinks than the Almighty creator of the universe.

It wasn't a machete it was a bill hook for hedge cutting.

Moment of silence for Mr Fly 4:29
So much work to turn the handle out! The handle is more valuable than the blade! Wonder if the effort is worthwhile?!
Why can't we melt that and put it in the same kind of mold?
I'm completely ignorant to your profession and I admittedly have no idea how electrolysis removes rust…but wouldn't sandblasting remove the rust faster and easier? Genuinely asking.
Is it safe?
He is not selling. Don't comment. Good job. If everything can resolve y we preserve antics 😂😂😂😂
1:42 Mmmm. Good soup.
🤣🤣🐢
Not sure if the hardening took if you drilled and tapped that easy
love you
I think it cojld have looked better if welding the rusty areas of the blade and making it fully smooth
Next time start with old brake roters
Great and beautiful handle but the knife is really ugly.
Idk i kinda like it

The perfect conductivity for electrolysis should be 3000us (Micro Siemens) above your mains cold water supply your using
The turtle 😭❤️4:06
