this Wimbledon draw is a crazy set of matches. it's hard for me to pick who's going to the semi's or finals. thanks for the video Cam
Thanks for all the draw insights Cam. Great stuff!
Iga always get tough draws. That is nothing new. She had one in the French Open and still won. Iga only loses if she wants to.
May be WTA is more favors for Americans
Draws are made on paper, but not played on paper. No guarantees that the difficult players even make it far enough to play Swiatek.
Are you serious? This isn't a press conference of course the draw matters. Look how every tournament treated Serena at the end. She had no business in those finals at the end of her career
@@Sambone702 If Serena had faced any of those other finalists (except for Kerber) earlier than the final she would've beaten them. Her issue was purely mental near the end of her career, as we saw with her ridiculous losses to Halep and Andreescu. Serena didn't fluke four slam finals in 2 years. That's impossible, no matter how lenient the draws were.
And the plot twist is iga will win it😅
Beautifully explained!
Love Cam fair and honest predictions
Rybakina is still the best chance from the top half of the draw to make the final. She can beat all those players. The challenge is maintaining consistency. I think the Swiatek’s quarter is the most random. Iga is not strong in grass. However, all other contenders do not have the consistency (especially in recent months) to win 5 matches necessary to get to a GS semi final.
But Rybakina doesn't have consistency to win 6 matches necessary to get to GS final. Her deepest run this season so far were in Doha and Miami master finals, in both cases she lost 0:2 to Swiatek and Collins.
If she doesn't withdraw due to illness at some point in the tournament.
She really needs to get a nutritionist/chef to make sure she eats right while travelling.
@@piqo44she won three tournaments tho she can make a deep run
@@bryancarson5908 yes but in Stuggart and Abu Dhabi she played 4-rounds (she got bye in 1st round), and in Brisbane she played 5 rounds. Miami and Doha were 6 round tournaments and she lost both finals, GS is 7 rounds.
@@piqo44 I’m aware but I don’t think the ONE deciding factor can be the number of matches she played there were many other factors! Obviously her health as it were in those finals is questionable but otherwise I’d say she could have the consistency. But I think we just have to see I just wouldn’t rule her out based on two stats this year
WTA really wants Iga to not succeed outside clay and hard for some reason
I don't think WTA benefits from the fact that most favourites are packed in 1 half We had similar situation during AO, 7 out of 10 favourites get knocked out before 4th round starting with Swiatek, Rybakina, Ons, Pegula, Vondrousova, Ostapenko.
Did WTA stop Iga from playing any grass tournaments before W ? If she refused to play on grass until now , who's to blame?!? She wants to win every tournament without working for every tournament ?!? Or she just wants to try her luck before the Olympics in Paris ? 🤔
@@danielacinderella9501 Dude Iga won WTA 1000 Madrid, WTA 1000 Rome and RG in a row... She's not Rybakina to lose early everywhere and have a rest and she's still 100x more healthy
Draws are not handpicked.
@@SmithyPL really cheap tactic to use Rybakian's poor health as an insult
Cocciaretto withdrew replaced by Danilovic
@@Tidus4334 THANKS A LOT !
Lucky loser
Good. She does not belong on a tennis court anyway.
As veteranas vão virar freguês hein!
Tradition for Swiatek to get a tough draw, and tradition for Gauff to get an easy draw. Market means everything, right?
What is that sapos to mean
If your conspiracy theory was remotely possible do you think it would favour Gauff over Swiatek?
Iga had a easy French draw.
you gotta be jokin iga gets the easy draw in most she plays (Watch tennis please )
@@trommelbiel You should ask this question to the WTA, who knows the answer very well. Mutiple unusual draws could esaily pass the duck test.
🎾💪
The Over/Under bet should be how many seeds are eliminated in first two rounds through loss or retirement: 12 seed s my number.
Come on Ons
If Emma can win her first round match she will go deep in competition 🎉🎉🎉
You sure that’s Yastremska taking on podoroska? Looked like Marta Kostyuk in the photo 🫣
It's hard to tell the difference sometimes with all that plastic surgery.
With Azarenka and Sabalenka rehabbing, I won't have to turn my TV down. They're the loudest.
Go Saba and Rybakina! A dream final for me😊 if both are 100% healthy, it's possible 😊
I'd rather Saba play Ostapenko or Raducanu than Vekic😮
Iga playing all her past Bagels again
oh! it's you again?! I feel like I was replying to the evil twin a moment ago XD
@@CAThan86 lol not evil just truthful
Breaking news via BBC : Sabalenka out injured.
Of course I 'm not biased: Ruse-Emma the FINAL OR TODONI IN THE FINAL ! 😅
Sabalenka, Gauf e poucas outras são minhas favoritas
Vekic is the scariest round 2 opponent. Im scared for Aryna to be honest.
Bianca Andrescu's magic is over!
What do you mean by this?
You are being disrespectful and condescending! Don't forget your medication please!
Definitely not. Your magic, however, is non existent.
Swiatek will definitely win it
Sablenka shoulder will be the curse of her
Rybinika health is a worry me Gaugh foot work is not good enough
Osaka Paulina will do well
Im with you on that.
Coco doesn't always get an easy draw. That is not true, what is of question is why certain people always have start with certain people in the early rounds.👀
It’ll be alcaraz and sabalenka
I grew up in grass
Specialised surface it there will be shocks this year
Slice and fkat forehand
Drop shots are key
Getting into the net
Holding the Racket loose
Kenin was thrashed in qual round 2 at Eastbourne, then got through to main draw as lucky loser and won 1 match. This isn't really a story.
Coco 🏆2️⃣
jajaja
Rybakina on grass. Proven winner!
Samsonova, Kalinskaya, Ons - all of them are in Rybakina draw and defeated her on many occasions
Sabalenka has easiest draw but she just said that she is not 100% fit to play Wimbledon. It means she is not favourite anymore to win Wimbledon.
Hope the Tiger takes this one😅
another AO fix up... djerckovis and Salalenka...
But their babies might play...😅
Iga will probably go out early this year. She does have a tough draw and she does not have a good relationship with grass. Its quite open this year.
Gauff is inept, but the gang that rules the wild, rotten West is trying hard to push their mascot to the top 😂
Are you Adolf Hitler's Nephew?
You are being disrespectful and condescending! Don't forget your medication please!
@@trommelbielPolish are racist like him that's why Poland is Zelenski's best buddy both follow the Natsee ideology.
@@Rockyboy2106You're a funny guy. Our ancestors fought against the Germanic "drang nach Osten" before the American continent was even discovered.
@@polishgigachad7097you don’t win a GRAND SLAM at NINETEEN by being “inept.” You have the IQ of a snail. I strongly suggest you invested in a helmet for your own safety.
I don’t know 98% of these women …
RIP Świątek.
Best of luck Iga 🍀🤞🤞💪
Iga’s nose is weird😅
Sadly polish people are not tennis fans only iga fans
you're so funny fairy XD
What a BS. We love Paolini, we love Coco. Some even like Aryna....
Not a fair statement. Polish fans have the right to celebrate their champion. Never apologize for greatness, I say. Genius is possible everywhere, and given opportunity will emerge and delight us all. I'm not Polish, not even close. But I wish her all the best, always. She's a good player and presents a decent, respectful image off the courts.
