Aside from the details you've mentioned you still want to do - I'd also try to find a blacked out gas cap assembly. I feel like it would look way better on the high-vis tank 😄.
Oh, and instead of the big round tail light, I'd try to find a good light strip and mount it on the edge of the rear fender to visually connect the turn signals. I feel like it would look cleaner, but that's just me 😉.

Little idea for the recess with the 2 bolt holes you said you're gonna grommet up. Find a friend with a 3D printer, and design up a little embossed Komoto badge to pop in the recess.

I think a small metal heart Similar shape to the ones in the Sissy-bar, color Matched to the tank. it would bolt to those two holes on the end of the fender. That would be a nice touch IMO.

Man I found myself smiling through this whole video! She looks so excited! Congrats to your girl on her dream bike! I got a question. I want to wrap my scl500 tank in a high viz vinyl. Would I need to siphon the fuel off before disconnect? Or will whatever little fuel remains stay in it? I know on Harley’s there’s a QD that won’t leak once unhooked.
I think it’s awesome you didn’t just do it and reveal it to her. Working on it together is the way to go. I think some taller 6-8 inch risers with a Memphis shades road warrior faring would set this absolute off!!!

But my 1100 I get I'm going to have it painted candy nictic orange, but I also like the candy blue, but the candy nictic orange will be my own design and unique.
