I have a 2023 Rebel 500. Your channel definitely helped me pick something rock solid for my first bike. Got the OEM Honda saddlebags that quick release on and off and man it is a game changer. Having storage for essentials, the room to go on weekends away, and shopping is great. I just use one of them for my work bag. Holds lunch, water bottle, protein shake bottle, drinks, iPad Mini, and more! This came out fantastic, hope you keep getting out there making memories with it.
3 minutes in and im already in love with the bar end mirrors, the hand wind gaurds, the viking bags with the diamond stitching and the detailed diamond stiched seats with the rebel mark. My god this is so much goals when I get my bike. Literally i was lookibg at bar end mirrors last night for this and didn’t find any good ones
Owning a motorcycle is all personalized accessories! Great looking bike! The ($38) handlebar risers are really nice! Smart move on the ($188.09) radiator cover! The ($219.95) Sliders are also fantastic! I definitely love the ($999.95) saddle bags. One suggestion is to include the cost of the lovely accessories you installed. Thanks for sharing!
I love this channel! Getting my rebel soon I'm doing a lot of upgrades that you have shown. With the saddle bags you could add a velcro strap that's all black to keep it closed while riding and not lock it. Just a suggestion.
Honestly, installing your own lock on the saddlebags might be a blessing. Consider people who have multiple bikes and just want a matching key for all of them. Or if you wanted a more robust (anti-pick) lock.
The more you ride a single bike, the more practicality becomes important. I like most of the mods for sure! I've never been a fan of diamond stitching patterns, so I probably wouldn't go with the That Seventies Show seat cover. All a matter of taste, so to each his own.
Wow!!! This turned out freaking awesome!!! I so enjoy watching and learning from you and your girlfriend!! I'm 54 and just started riding this summer. I have MS and hope to get the Rebel 1100 DCT someday!!! You guys are amazing!!! Shiny side up!!
I'm new to the channel I've been looking for a touring bike and I was looking at used Harleys then I found you and this beast of a rebel. it definitely caught my eye; I've been going back in your videos to watch all the rebel goodness. but I think I'm sold on it. and I love this set up.
Love the bags, I went with the same set but with the bigger one on the left. It really slaps with the Vance & Hines Touring exhaust taking up the space under the smaller right bag.
If you ever think about going on "tour" with that thing, you should plan on coming down to Two Wheels of Sucess in North Georgia. Fun roads & little cabins and stuff to stay in too if you don't like tents.
Your saddlebags are cool but your grip about them being able to just flip open is why I went with my Viking Bags which have velcro on the inside of the flaps so that even while unlocked it never comes open. I just wish I could detach them and carry them like yours but I'll live it, I love my Viking Bags lol
Thanks for the videos Bro. I just bought the 2023 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT. Like you I'm a die hard Clutch guy, and this will be a whole new animal for me. I like the additions you made to your bike, and those bags are gonna be on mine too. I also don't like 2 different size bags because of the muffler. Every time I got a tattoo on the right arm, I had to get the same size on the left arm. Its all about balance, lol Anyway, again thanks Bro
Id put weather stripping around the perimeter of the seat also i think chemical guys may have something that you can put on the seat to make it hydrophobic it might be someone else but i think it was chemical guys
I dig it. It looks more muscular to me. I like the hand guards oddly, it makes it look muscular from the front angle. The radiator guards covers on outside look sweet with the machined gill cutouts. Obviously the seat quilted matched with the quilted design on the bags is just sweet. To me it's a more muscular looking sport cruiser. I like it looks awesome. It looks better than super expensive Harleys.
Yoo, I got a few SW-Motech stuff on my beamer and it is always amazing quality. They also have bike protection parts like exhaust shields and crash bars. Great vid man!
Love it! I agree with you about the seat. But I would go a step further and say im not a fan of the diamond pattern. Sleek and smooth on that bike is the way to go in my opinion.
I want to replace my hard factory touring bags with those bags. They look really nice. The seat sounds great but not being able to get wet is a massive issue.
Looking amazing man, got me so stoked on the crash sliders - I ordered them before they were even available and they've been sitting by my door for a year now, the fact they can double as a rest spot... got my project for next weekend lined up!!
A few minutes with a sharpy will fix the seat. Great hack with the thumb screw. Any stitched seat will soak up water. If it's leather you can use one of the boot conditioning products to help.
to fix the key saddle bag issue you could stitch some Velcro or maybe even a oh whats it called it has the rubber you pull that has holes in it and you put a hook through the holes
$1,000 for some saddlebags is quite excessive. They look great and the craftmanship looks so awesome but I could never justify that for some "luggage". Hoping they gave you an influencer discount.
I think something that could help with the saddlebags flapping open would be magnets. Im also saving to get a 1100 next year and Im getting a lot of inspiration from yours on what to do lol
Mate. Hi from NZ. She looks wicked! I didn't even know they made an 1100!! This might be the bike I've been looking for (with your mods :) ). I'd better go see if we get this bike here.....
21:30 , [p]ut some 3M "VHB Tape" , get some strong but small neodymium magnets, On the inside of the saddlebags, clean it a little with isopropyl alcohol if it's plastic inside, put the magnet inside of a VHB Tape sandwich, put sandwich on the inside. Step 2: inside of the flappy bit, put VHB and don't worry about sandwiching the flappy bit one. If you want to black them out, electrical tape. Hope that helps. SUMMARY: There's a way to add a DIY strong magnetic closure to the saddlebags so they stay closed unless you need to lock them. Edit: typo
Hey just fyi same seat on my 1100. Took it to an upholster to get it shorted so it’s not so scrunched. $20 and the seat will eat the paint of the back fender
Really nice. Smashingly beautiful! Wow what a nice bike Wow I can’t wait to get mine. Canada does not have the colours 😢. Im so hoping for the Bordeaux Red DCT model.
It looks great! Love to see it! I had the cbr 300r for my first bike and drove it like i stole it haha nice fast and the furious reference. But i plan on getting either the rebel 500 or 1100. The price is probably the biggest thing for me. I dont want to finance, so that might make the decision for me. Lol
love how your 1100 looks awesome! I love the burly sliders but i went to their site and it says available in october! i can't wait ! i have the trex ones and they do make the 1100 look janky imho i just want clean lines like yours.
Yooo that’s awesome dude!! Any of the Amazon links are indeed affiliate links, so I appreciate you using any of them! Whatever you got, you’re gonna love, cause I’m so pleased with all of this 🙌🏻
Haha i ordered my 500 seat from the same seller, i love my seat but they did have to reship mine because the first one they shipped got lost. Bike looks great! Wonder if those handguards fit the 500 😮
Damn I’ve been asking Memphis Shades for those handguards since November. Also I’ve been eyeing that seat but couldn’t pull the trigger. Good to know it sucks in the rain. I get caught in the rain all the time.
Well you may be part of what helped get the ball rolling on the hand guards then! They’ve had em in the works for awhile, but had to get another Rebel in the shop since the DCT and manual have different length right side mirrors. And yea the seat is a SPONGE 😂 I’ll probably have them put some kind of waterproof layer in there when I get it reupholstered if they can.
Hey man, absolutely awesome video and upgrades to your machine! As a new subscriber, and being rather new to Maryland (born & raised New Yorker) I was looking for all the content I could find on this bike which I hope to have very soon. No more Hayabusa for me, it’s sold! I love your ideas and detailed descriptions of the bike and mods, keep them coming bro! 🏍️💨👍🏾
Thanks so much bro!! This is the perfect bike for MD because it can do it all, and reeaaally shines on all the backroads here! You’re gonna love it 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I bet someone could 3d print you a replacement for that locking mechanism (that you have to install yourself lol) that's just a knob to twist instead of keys! But maybe just getting a copy made and leaving them in would serve the same function?
I have a 2023 Rebel 500. Your channel definitely helped me pick something rock solid for my first bike.

I am such a huge fan of this dude. I have watched him for a while when I was looking for a Rebel 1100. I keep watching because he isn't a prick.
The ride is very very nice. You did a fantastic job with the whole thing.
Thanks man!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Man, you gotta love Memphis Shades. They make banger stuff.
Right?! Banger after banger after (interchangeable) banger! 😂🤘🏻
Deprettomotto makes some very high quality mirrors for the 1100 but they are pricey, I had these as well but I prefer the depretto ones more
Hell yea dude, I’m glad that you love it as much as I do!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
The bags are SW Motech, not Viking. I just picked up a set of the same LH1 bags!
What an absolute beauty! Congrats buddy, you've done an awesome job with her 👏 👍
Thanks!
Thanks so much James!! I appreciate you as always! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Middle of JULY!!! already... kitten farts! So much to do, past 6,000 this last April. Longest ride was 800 in-a-day...OWW' no doubt!
Ah finally the bags are on! She looks great!
Love those hand guards with the fairing, now I know what my next upgrade is.
Thanks Stephanie!! Honestly seeing your bike with these bags is part of what sealed the deal. They’re just so baller, but classy at the same time! 😂🤘🏻
@@LifeOfBurch It looks really put together with the diamond stitch seat 👌
Owning a motorcycle is all personalized accessories! Great looking bike! The ($38) handlebar risers are really nice! Smart move on the ($188.09) radiator cover! I wonder if someone makes a good looking additional brake light for the sissybar for added visibility
You have the most sick Rebel 1100 in the world. Honestly I like staring at nice motorcycles almost as much as I like riding them.
Thanks so much dude, I really appreciate that!! 🙌🏻🙏🏻🤘🏻
All the upgrades look awesome
Thanks Stacey!! I’m so pumped on them! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Man that looks awesome. really enjoy your commentary of what you have done.
I must admit that the vast majority of this is so awesome. The rest of it is just awesome. Great job!
Honestly, installing your own lock on the saddlebags might be a blessing. Consider people who have multiple bikes and just want a matching key for all of them.
Or if you wanted a more robust (anti-pick) lock.
I'm a motovlogger from the Philippines. I really enjoy watching your videos!
Ayy thanks so much dude!! Thanks for watching from so far away! 🤯🙌🏻🙏🏻
@@LifeOfBurch Thanks for the reply, man!

Congratulations you took a unique, different motorcycle and turned it into what every second Harley looks like. Not sure I get it but hey your bike!!
I get my Rebel tomorrow. I'm so freaking pumped!
Wow!!! This turned out freaking awesome!!! I so enjoy watching and learning from you and your girlfriend!! I'm 54 and just started riding this summer. I have MS and hope to get the Rebel 1100 DCT someday!!! You guys are amazing!!! Shiny side up!!
One word... PERFECTION.
It looks awesome. Good job Burch.
Thanks dude!! 😬🤘🏻

Hey Burch, 2.0 Looks fantastic! Thanks for all the info. Prayers Flying for safe travels
There are cans for camping fuel you can use.

Nice! I ordered the same Sw-motech bags 5 weeks ago and can't wait for them to arrive.
Heck yea, you’re gonna LOVE them! Fingers crossed they get to ya soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thanks for the videos Bro. I just bought the 2023 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT. Like you I'm a die hard Clutch guy, and this will be a whole new animal for me. Great video Burch !!! 🤙🏽
Thanks Marvin!! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Really like the look, after I watch the video I will go look at the radiator guard. I am looking to do mods that won't mess up the 6 year warranty.
Definitely worth looking into! The radiator guard was the easiest install, and the stock one didn’t look like it would protect dang near anything 😅
Thanks dude!! Muscular is definitely a good word for it. Looking back at older pictures it just looks so…frail? in comparison 😂🤘🏻
I like the look. Either black stitching to match the saddle bags or LOB orange stitching
Looks so good! Can’t wait to go for the first ride with you on 2.0!!
He finally gets bar end mirrors! Solid solid work man! That's exactly how I would set it up.
Thanks bro!! I definitely dig the bar ends way more than I was expecting! 🙌🏻🤘🏻
Yoo, I got a few SW-Motech stuff on my beamer and it is always amazing quality. They also have bike protection parts like exhaust shields and crash bars. Great vid man!
Thanks dude!! SW Motech stuff is top quality for sure! 🤘🏻
Thanks Brother...wanted the hand guards! Later!
Love it! I agree with you about the seat. But I would go a step further and say im not a fan of the diamond pattern. Sleek and smooth on that bike is the way to go in my opinion.

Nice. It's quite colourfull as long as you like black.
A few minutes with a sharpy will fix the seat. Great hack with the thumb screw. Any stitched seat will soak up water. If it's leather you can use one of the boot conditioning products to help.
I really like your setup. That seat and bags are on point man.
to fix the key saddle bag issue you could stitch some Velcro or maybe even a oh whats it called it has the rubber you pull that has holes in it and you put a hook through the holes
$1,000 for some saddlebags is quite excessive. They look great and the craftmanship looks so awesome but I could never justify that for some "luggage". Hoping they gave you an influencer discount.
Cool ideas. Might use on my 1100. Thanks
Glad you dig it! Happy to help! 🙌🏻
Looking good! Nice pattern on that seat.
Thanks Andy!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Viking bags makes black abs bags that lock fit the style and lines of the bike and are compatible with most exhaust
Love those saddlebags, need to get myself some for my Rebel
I think something that could help with the saddlebags flapping open would be magnets. Im also saving to get a 1100 next year and Im getting a lot of inspiration from yours on what to do lol
Super good looking bike....seriously thinking about one.
Do it dude!! I looove mine! 😍
Burley brand needs to make rear sliders for the 1100 T. Got clear water lights installed on my rebel which is super bright and adjustable
The 1100 looks sick!!!
Looking pretty darn good
Very nice motorcycle. I just bought one very similar. Look forward to riding it.
Looks great! Get some black leather dye and apply it to the white stitching. Faster and easier than a full recover....
Yo the bike is sick man. Im saving for a rebel 11, im gonna steal a couple of these mods 👀
Very nice Upgrades. ! The Saddlebags could become closed without looking, if you install stick-on-velcro stripes to the top and bottom part.
Someone else mentioned that and I just may have to give it a go! Good idea!
It turned out great :) a real beauty! GJ!
She's looking sharp
Looks amazing, Burch!
Holy Cow! That's the BEST looking rebel I have ever seen....KUDOS! Way to go man. Rock on dude. (yeah im a boomer)
Hahah thanks man!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That looks sick!!!!! I love the look!!
The gas label is so funny but also sick

Wow !
I love the 2.0 style ! Pretty sure I'll get some of these on my 1100 !
Can you add mirror spacers lenght in the description please ?
Very tastefully done. Great work as always Mike.
Thanks brotha!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
So nice, wish they had forward controls
I’m not a fan of forward controls myself, but DePretto Moto makes some forwards for these things that are pretty sexy!
Deacon St John approves. 😎👍
seat and saddle bags are cool, not into the wind screen or the deflectors on the bars, prefer a naked front end on a cruiser
To be honest, I was actually kind of expecting like a body kit like you know Diablo or something still beautiful bike
Amazing job.
Thanks Mike!! 😬🤘🏻
love how your 1100 looks awesome! I love the burly sliders but i went to their site and it says available in october! i can't wait ! i have the trex ones and they do make the 1100 look janky imho i just want clean lines like yours.

Damn fine job there dude.
Thanks man!! 🤘🏻
Freaking love it Burch!!! Now go put some much deserved summer miles on her 😍
I’m on it!! 🏍️💨💨💨
I hope those are affiliate links or something like that because I just bought most of this stuff based on your excellent video; Keep it up!
Yooo that’s awesome dude!! Any of the Amazon links are indeed affiliate links, so I appreciate you using any of them! Whatever you got, you’re gonna love, cause I’m so pleased with all of this 🙌🏻
Love it looks awesome I can't get nothing here in Canada for mine
Making me wait -- You Richard! Hahaha -- I wanna know about those bags and that attachment roll.
Haha i ordered my 500 seat from the same seller, i love my seat but they did have to reship mine because the first one they shipped got lost.
Bike looks great! Wonder if those handguards fit the 500 😮
Nicely modded, Burch! Kudos! That’s a sexy bike! 🎉🎉🎉
Great upgrades.

Omg those bags look so good and the functionality but the price tag is so high 😱
Ever change our bars or put on reach bars for the short rider?
It looks so good.
Thanks dude! I’m so stoked on how it came together!! 🙌🏻🤘🏻
Love the new luck.. kinda sucks about the seat soaking up so much water though
Man that looks good!
Thanks dude!! 🙌🏻😎🙌🏻
