I can only echo, what's been said. Very informative! I would have known to look for some of the more obvious indicators, but not all of the ones you have pointed out! Keep up the great content ! And stay safe.
My first £2 album hunts yielded 9 fakes in just 20 episodes. I have just done 2 hunts for the latest album and have found another 2 fakes. It is annoying.
Hi I have the exact same coin as the last one you shown, question are they worth anything to collectors? I know some counterfeit coins/notes can be collectable, or is it illegal to sell even if advertised as counterfeit? Many thanks bro
Hi Lewis. I don’t think they are valuable. If they are, I am rich! 😂 Not sure exactly if it’s illegal or not to sell them on. I suspect it is, I don’t think I would dare risk it!
Thank you for your reply bro also I'm sorry to keep picking your brain iv been trying for hours to find some definitive answer, so I have a 1971 silver new pence 2p coin, but I'm wondering if you might know a more accurate value because iv seen prices range from £180 up to 2k? Please help bro hahaha
Thank you for the video which shows fake £2 coins. What do you do with those fake coins. Do you think that the royal mint should remove the £2 technology coins from circulation.
Hi Shailesh. We kept them all and gave them away on our 2k subs giveaway video It would be great if there were more £2 coins with different designs on 👍🏻
I have 2008 Queen Elizabeth two pound coin and I was totally amazed because when I tilt it there was actualy an image like a hologram in the center and I think it's priceless.. I think behind that hologram is a code or a barcode telling something about the queen.
@@bunglecollects yeah I've already watch your video but I think the coin I have is just a common coin.I've posted it in my fb account to a buy and sell coin group maybe someone needs it for a collectors item.
@@bunglecollects exactly. maybe they give fake coins out in the market and use them slow, or put them in coin machines if they dont fall out again in the shops
I am one of the People who looks for error coins I have one of the Planchet coin you show. So where do you get your information from? I think your maybe on the track but the fakes will be in more of one date. The idea is to flood the market and run so makes sense, just as the 50p Kew Gardens How does the RM excuse real coins with incorrect beading on either insert or outer piece? This is exactly the same principle with Stamps I have yet to find a correct £2 coin from my change in any date. I do agree with most of what you say though. IF what you say is true, do you not think the RM would scrap this idea and withdraw the coins? The whole point of bi coins is for being able to deter forgeries? According to the Law we are not allowed to knowingly pass a fake coin on . So the RM are knowingly doing this in production let alone Circulation. Thought inspiring post though, thank you
Can you tell me something else? I keep reading that I should not put these coins in PVC pockets. But most people I see, put them in PVC pockets. Do you know what is the proper thing to do? Thank you very much.
I like to put them in albums, it’s just personal choice If you do put them in an album, then you want a good quality one so that the plastic doesn’t affect / react with the coins Uk coin hunt says that his albums are coin safe www.ukcoinhunt.com
Very informative, Thank you!
A fantastic video for new and old collectors. Great stuff 😁👏

do they make lots of fakes or just a few and try spending them? looks like so much hard word for only £2
I think the same thing… they must have to make thousands to be able to make money out of it and then how do they spend thousands of pounds at once?
@@bunglecollects exactly. maybe they give fake coins out in the market and use them slow, or put them in coin machines if they dont fall out again in the shops
I have one of these coins will check it out to see if it's a rare coin.
