The cool fall weather is setting in and I’m trying to take advantage of the last driveway car washes of the year. It occurred to me that I haven’t done a car wash video sine buying my 340i two years ago. In this video, I show you my process and the supplies that I use.
While I’m not a professional, and don’t even consider myself a detailing guy, I do enjoy my weekly car wash and try my best to improve my process each time.

From a professional, great job man!!! Love the rotating caps 🤙 been watching your content since I got my E90 :)
@@streetready Thanks, that means a lot! I always get nervous posting car cleaning videos 😅
Hey I’m currently living in Jamaica and I’m thinking of buying a 5 series however I’m a little bit skeptic, what I would like to know is how to get any parts that would wear without going to the dealer, brands for the sensors, plugs, great oil for oil change and all,
“I’m really not that into detailing.” Now off we go with a pressure washer, foam canon, two wash buckets, grit protectors, various soaps, mitts, sprays, brushes, towels, blowers, etc. 😂
😅
Right?!?!
seriously, i have purchased so much stuff and have stuff in my amazon cart...apartment living...if all of this will save me coins in the long run, i can dig it. 😅
I cracked up at the comment "I'm not that into detailing". My man, I hate to break it to you, but you are MOST DEFINITELY into detailing! Welcome to the club!
I don’t think there’s anything better than a subtle, OEM+ build on any car🔥 Love the car and the video, Justin! Makes me excited to wash my GTI tomorrow😂
Thank you!!
Great tutorial and production with a nice ASMR touch. Starting at the top and going in straight lines tells me you know how to properly wash a car.
This video came out so great babe! I’m so proud of the time you take to make your videos and the steps you go through to make sure every video is high quality. You don’t rush for the sake of getting out a video and the care shows in everything you put out. So proud of you! ♥️
Thank you for always being encouraging!
@@justinbuice I don’t get the same message back when I call you babe 😢
@@manjitkapri1816 😂😂😂
I agree
@@manjitkapri1816 lol
Its was like a movie ,quality of video and audio🔥🔥🔥
I appreciate that! ❤
My man says he is not into detailing.. then proceeds to wash a car like a professional detailer.. great job :D
Great video. I use a DeWalt leaf blower to blow the water off my car. Works great and some days if the snowfall is not too deep, it’s great to clear my deck and driveway. A clean microfiber towel makes the paint pop. Battery powered is the way to go!
This is my favorite BMW service and maintenance channel on TH-cam. Your videos are informative and extremely well done. Keep them coming.
I appreciate that! Glad I can help!
Quality of this video is immaculate just WOW
Thank you!
Thank you for recommending the desired video!
don't get tired ✊😉
Love the F30, inside and out its perfect. Proper OEM plus and plush look 👌 keep these videos coming man, love em!!
Thank you!
amazing video and production quality as always, living in Michigan, especially with the winter months coming up; our cars will need a lot of washing. this tutorial was very in depth, and thank you for including links ot all the products!
Thank you! Already dreading winter 😫
It’s been a long time that I haven’t watched one of your videos. I really enjoyed this one.
Another great video Justin. Always a blast to watch👍🏻
Thank you!
Nice job man! Def can appreciate the time that went into this!
Thanks! ❤
This definitely is one of the highest quality videos that get straight to the point. Will keep this as my go to video for getting better at washing my car.
thanks I appreciate that!
You are amazing videographer ! and thanks for always details !
I must say this is your best car wash video yet, thank you for the great process sir 🙏
Thanks!! I put a lot into this one
Great video, keep it up man! Thanks for all the tips and tricks. Cheers from the Czech Republic!
Thank you!
leaf blower, love it!
Looks awesome man and the attention to detail is PRO! Keep it up
Thanks!
This video kind of brought some memories back when u washed your e90 and made a video about it few years back👌
Back when I had no clue what I was doing 😆
Nicely done! Wheels look incredible!
Thank you!
Although I recently sold my f30, most of the car care ideas you have applies to any car. Keep up the great content sir!
How about an interior cleaning video to follow up this exterior one?
lets gooooo! The tip on the Adam's blue vs purple was sick. Will definitely get blue next time
The video quality is really good man, keep up the good work! The Oem + look is great !
Thank you!
Such a gorgeous looking car. I’m sure you are very proud and take great pride in your whip. Take care.
thanks!
coming from a detailier you did a great job explaining. Also were very spot on with what you said!
I appreciate that!
At 6:33 I never knew the 5 second hold to get the windshield wiper to stand up 🎉😂 thx!
And clean ass car man
Cleaning my build is super relaxing. I just turn up the music on my headphones 🎧and enjoy the great weather.
Some great tips! Nicely put together 👍
Thank you!
Using a Stubby power wand works wonders with a foam cannon. Also, for those with black paint, use chemical guys blacklight foam soap, and blacklight wax. Keeps my M5 brilliant.
Love that, pressure washer will be my next purchase, thanks!
I regret not buying one sooner! Between my cars and house, I use it several times a week in the summer
Love your car and the video!
Dude, keep doing the thing you love an else will come along!
Awesome stuff bud! Going to try your method on my 535 !!
thanks!
this video is so satisfying to watch
Thanks!
Great video. Very detailed explanations. Thanks!
Thank you!
Nice to see content!
It's been a while
never knew you could hold the wipers up like that... neat, thanks!
I always smile when I see you uploading vids like this because it means you don't need to do a bottom end rebuild, replace mosfets in your dme or any other similar nonsense. Guess the B58 is really what they say it is? Right on!
P.S. that fakie varial flip was bolts!
It’s been reliable, fuel efficient and plenty of power for me as-is 😁
Hey, one thing I'd recommend is to avoid using the green tip on the pressure washer. Although your pressure washer has a low psi, it's generally safer to use the white tip (or one with a larger spray degree) when washing to ensure you don't strip anything if you accidentally get too close.
The ending cinematic were amazing! Good job
Thank you!
Love this video 🔥🔥
You deserve thousands of likes man.
Thanks. Very nice car. Im dreaming of this one too
Thank you!!
Awesome video man thanks!! Do one of cleaning the windows, inside and out next!
Thank you, will keep that in mind!
Looks amazing great job dude
thanks!
Pro tip, I use a separate wash mitt for the side skirts and bumpers as, as you say, they are the dirtiest.
Hi Justin…..I do almost the same process with one exception. Rather than rinsing the microfiber mitt in a clean water bucket (which might not clean all the grit out), I fill one bucket with soapy water and put 5 mitts in it to pull out for each section as I go. Then I wash each of the mitts in the washer. Like you, I use a dedicated bucket for the wheels and use a clean microfiber for each rim. Really good tutorial by the way.
Soo chillin so fun to watch 🔥🔥
thanks man!
Had no idea you could hold the windshield button to keep them up! Quality video and my decal stickers are holding up well 🤙
Glad to hear that!
Thank you dad!
😂
Hey Michigander! Royal Oak here. You da Man, man!
Nice! Im near Port Huron
Great video man love it
thank you!
great video and great car, love those wheels.
Thank you!
I love your car, it's beautiful!
Thank you!
Car is super nice man!! Im saving up for a 340i
thanks!
Glad I found your channel just subscribed
I can hear the soap in 8k. 🤤
This video was amazing. Very relaxing
Thanks! I really went all in on this lol
Clean af 👌
lol never thought about the blower. It’s gonna be so easy now.
Wash with love😍🙂
really beautiful video
Thank you!
Love those ARC-8's!
Thanks!
Nice work man. I’m trying to get in a few more car washes while it’s still a decent temperature
Thanks buddy!
I am not sure but one of you guys are the reason why I started following other one few years ago :D
Again a great video as always, unfortunately I don't have the oppertunity at home to do it like you.
So I just go through the car wash to keep my E90 tidy👊
Thanks! Nothing wrong with that 😁
Right you know what you are doing
Learned somethin new on this… think I’m gonna try & section off my car with the foam. I normally foam the whole thing… then wash. But I think I may start incorporating your method of foam, rinse, then foam and wash by section.
Would you do an interior version? Loved the format of this video and the step by step voiceover
I’m looking into it 😎
🔥 bro!
thank you
I will say using a leaf blower only really helps if your are ceramic coated, without a coating I have noticed the water grabs the paint and doesn't move very far
I liked the video a lot! Your camera work is really nice!
For the keyless go thing, I just put my keys inside the car, then it won’t lock and open all the time! :)
Thank you!
All the OEM+ boys jizzing in the comments. This channel is the G.O.A.T.
Nice bro. Clean car.
Thanks!
I really like your videos 👍 340i🔥🔥🔥
Outstanding technique. The only thing is to get a better pressure washer.
The pressure washer is good. I've had mine for 4 years. I would recommend replacing the hose with a kink free ones like Uberflex or Flexilla and get quick connects. It was a game changer for me.
Smooth criminal I started watching you because I own an e90 but I still enjoy the content gotta ask bro what shoes are those they’re super clean Ngl
Thanks!! New Balance 808
I cant believe its already been 2 years since you bought that car. I remember when you first got it and it feels like that was only a few months ago!
I know! time flies
You do such a good job you could be a professional.
Great video! Best one I’ve watched on TH-cam up to now. Makes me want to wash my car. Where you get the wheel studs from? They look good on them wheels
Thanks! I got them from Kies Motorsports
@@justinbuice Thank you very much
I knew there was something I forgot to do in 2022!!!
This car looks so clean and sick
Thank you!
What about washing the engine bay? How would you do that?
Hi
Is using ph neutral soap for prewash snow foam is useless?
Or it fits the purpose of pre-wash?
Does it remove more dirt than just using pressure wash only?
Hi Justin, I'm from Mexico and I've been following you for quite a while. I love your videos. I just wonder how do you clean the interior door frames and when in the whole process of washing? Nice rotating caps btw, I might get ones.
Thanks! After drying the car, I take the damp drying towel and wipe the inside of the door frames
hey justin what percentage tint are you rocking if any?
Nice video! I think ima have to get a pressure washer my wheels are a pain to clean.
Thanks!
"not into detailing" pulls up 2 buckets with grit guards, doing proper wash process and has ego blower lmao. great video! you look like a pro!
Thanks!!
which model is this beast car????
Did you towel off the tires also?
looking to get a new car , most likely getting an audi a6 but i’ve been looking at 535i and 550i but as most ppl say ab bmw’s i hear their not reliable and they had 1.5/5 rating on reliability can anyone fill me in on how the 535/550 are , or if there’s any other options that are still good on performance
The 535 is a better choice for reliability
Still hitting 80F in Vancouver, Canada so my handwashing is extended for a bit before it starts to rain...but seriously it's October why is it still summer? Great video like always!
Thanks! It was 50F when I started filming this and warmed up to 75 towards the end. I kept the sweater and hat on for continuity 🥵
I did the same only I don’t wash my tries that precise. Guess need to go get some of those better brushes.
your cleaning a clean car
Mans cleaning an already clean car. Could eat dinner from those rims
Just curious I have some soap stains after using the foam method, is this potentially because Im adding too much air and not enough water in it ?
Could be drying to quickly before you rinse
I love to see that it isnt just me that has the car lock, unlock, lock and unlock while washing it lolll
