Very courageous guy for sharing his story. Honestly, even with the scars I don't think it looks that bad and wouldn't even give him a 2nd look if I saw it in person. Just wanted to say thank you for creating these videos. I am 20, and starting to suspect some VERY early signs of male pattern baldness. I'm sort of at that in-between stage where it could just be natural thinning, or I really could be destined to go bald. (Pretty sure it's just in my genetics to be bald either way.) My point is this: Because of your videos, I've decided that no matter what happens I'm going to just own it. I'm not messing with Finasteride or Minoxidil, and I'll totally own my baldness instead of letting it own me. Thanks for helping me see that!
If you are young and very early stages. Suggest saw palmetto as a daily supplement (good for prostate health), maybe nettle supplement. It will probably slow the loss down enough without mega faff. I used minoxidil drops for a few years which thickens it up. But it was getting costly and I wanted to spend my. Money on things I actually enjoy. That's why we work at the end of the day.

Firstly, #baldcafe @baldcafe , thank you so much for the work you do. I have burns scars and plastic surgery from childhood. I'm now in my 40s and I've hid it all my life with my hair being a bit long. My balding is so bad now that I can no longer hide it. I'm incredibly scared to shave it, but I have to. I cant even do a grade 1 or 2 because the scarring on the side of my head would just look not right at all with stubble. Not really sure why I'm even typing this out to be honest! What a great guy. The SMP looks good and pretty much covers the scars. My hair’s receding but not at the point where I need to shave it, but do worry when the time comes as I have 2 natural scars on the back of my head from an accident, so I’m a bit anxious about that
feel very sad for him and his story :/ very emotionally draining by sounds of it , really hope he happy and ok now he deserves to be better now i hope :)
I’ve suffered from hair loss since I was 19 and now 27. The first month of hair loss was the worse feeling in my life, as I lost a great deal. I’ve tried all hair products but nothing worked, so I ended up shaving my head. I felt great for the first month but then it all went down hill after that, so I decided to grow my hair back and make the most out of it as I could but still wasn’t happy. I shave it again, felt better but the depression came back worse. I grew it out again but this time the longest it’s ever been, which I always wanted long hair but never did because I cared to much what others would think, so that also came a big regret. I came across a hair transplant video on TH-cam showing how cheap you can get it out in turkey, so I found myself getting a hair transplant. A year later, I’m pretty happy with the results but it could be a little better so I’m going to a second hair transplant. I know the hair transplant isn’t what I wanted but that’s due to the amount of hair I lost but I’m grateful to have what I got now. If my hair still continues to fall out and then SMP is my last resort. If you can afford it, and want it. Do it! You only live once man
You should interview Adrian again his hair looks spectacular! The only reason he went for a transplant was because of the scars he looks great now if not he would’ve stayed clean shaven
I started loosing my hair at Age of 24 but at end bold head makes me look young and with girls i realy rock so i Will tel shave It of and you Will rock bro
WOW....Our paths were/are almost identical. 30 yrs ago..wigs, topical products...and horrible transplants...Fast forward to me now at 51...and still self conscious and struggling with the results of a botched transplant that left a raised-ridge hairline. Recently shaved...got smp...and then lasered off 2 weeks ago...now in the process of growing back the wispy hair, just to hide the 3D hairline....LIke you...I like shaving too and think that I look good bald, with the exception of that linear line on my forehead head, that I just cant stop obsessing about😣 Thanks so much for sharing your story and your bravery!
The smp was done well, but because the transplants were so ridged, the smp made the poor texture of my skin more apparent. I had the smp lasered, and the transplants surgically removed. Everything looks so much better now
Had my first ht which was FUT last year as a norwood 6 and it has been the best decision ive ever made. Going back for the crown later this year. Scar is undetectable with #3 havent tried lower. Wife has taken pics of it and you really have to look hard to find it. Hair dressers are surprised when i tell them its all transplanted. Find the right surgeon and if you’re a good candidate it can make a huge difference in your appearance and confidence. Don’t fall for these terrible pictures people always use for FUT.
It wasn't immediately visible at the front when I watched it but when he said about the front scar it made me think the Dam surgeon should have been jailed at the time. Everyone knows about the back scar but front is less usual unless FUE scars more as I haven't seen any in the flesh. Good chat Harry. All the best Adrian and CBT will cure the scar, sit with the discomfort until it becomes more comfortable and maybe try buzzing it vs shaving as an option, could try a Beard or stubble.
I am 11 years older than this gentlemen and his story is a mirror of my life. Me the nightmare started at age 20. My head is so scared now. Surgeons back then were just butchers and all about getting their next sports car from young souls like me. People can be so cruel when they make a joke about you losing your hair. My head is much more scarred than this man. I wish I could sue these doctors. Once you have these nasty scars it makes you feel awful inside. For me I have to wear a hair system and I wish I could just shave my head but the scars are just too many. When you get older you have to have a good stylist to make your hair gray and to thin it out that is age appropriate. My friends know but I am much more shy around women I do not know. I feel my hair looks good but I have been thinking about shaving my head and do the SMP thing. It is so difficult to deal with and it is not easy keeping it hidden and living in fear.
I should let you know that I believe since this interview Adrian has had more repair work done surgically and I believe he is pretty happy with the results.
Technically, wouldn't embracing it actually be just letting your hair grow as is and not caring what others think about it? And wouldn't shaving your head bald, technically be hiding it?
I can relate to this mans experiences. I don’t believe he mentioned Body Dysmorphic Disorder though, he did seem to allude to it, when he said, ‘If it wasn’t his scars, it would be something else.’
I started loosing my hair at around 50. At first i was freaking out. I had such beautiful looking hair. I use to be in a rock band in the 80's when big hair was the norm. I would get a perm about every month to give me we'll call it (the look) & it looked so cool. Then after i was in that band no more i quit getting perms & started cutting my hair shorter & shorter. Then like i said when i was around 50 i started loosing my hair. I finally started to accept the fact that i was going bald & just went ahead & lived my life.I completely lost all my hair on the top of my head but still had hair on the sides. About once a month i'd have my barber cut it very short. Then when this pandemic hit & all the salons shut down i told my wife i think i'll just start shaving my head. To hell with getting my hair cut at the barber anymore, i'll just shave my head. Plus i'd save $30 a month. Now after getting the technique down i love it...plus a lot of the women love it & comment on how the shape of my head goes with shaving it...ha. Looking back i do miss having hair sometimes but it's so much easier just to shave it & be done with it. I told my wife even if i had the opportunity to get a hair transplant or whatever i'd never go back. Love how it looks now & it's so smooth!
same problem im 60 wish i could shave but scars from crappy surgeries ,its a heavy cross to bear at times,my advice to anyone try a no 2 u never know u might like it,wish i had done that back in the early nineties
If you start to lose your hair too young, that won’t stop.. I don’t think a hair transplant would help unless you keep patching through a few years and the mental anxiety would be worse.. nothing wrong to shave your hair younger, it actually looks really good. SMP naturally looking does help a lot.. hair transplants don’t work for everyone unfortunately
@Rich T hey bro trust me your not alone on this one. Same thing with me. I started losing much of my hair at 27 luckily it wasn't at 18 or 15 lol 😆 And at only 29 i was looking like 38 lol and at 31 now I look like 28😌 lol hair makes a great difference sadly but it those. Best decision i made with 2 FUT procedures
Hello. Thank you for posting this video. I`m not good at listening, so I`d like to ask you . Are the scars camofulaged by SMP? Is Mr.Adrian happy about the SMP result? Are the scars not a problem any more for him ? Or Is he still concerned about it? I mean ,Is he still concered if people notice? As for me, the scars are well-hidden , it could depend on how and from where you look at them though.
I'm in the same age range as Adrian, I remember seeing people with the results of 80s hair transplants and it was horrible. It made me feel queasy as it looked like dolls hair punched into the scalp in rows
hey dude, love these videos. i had SMP done too in Houston if you wanna watch my video diary. you look great as a bald guy, i think it was made for you
SMP doesnt hide a raised/or 3D scar...especially when overhead lighting hits your head. I have a raised ridged hairline from transplants back in the 80's...Recently had SMP and as good as the procedure was, it did not hide the raised, bumpy hairline....I had my smp removed 2 weeks ago
Scar tissue is different, I went through the same thing as him, the scar looked great for a couple of weeks but the pigment fades really fast . The rest of my treatment looks really good though and I'm happy with it.

I told my wife even if i had the opportunity to get a hair transplant or whatever i'd never go back. Love how it looks now & it's so smooth!
@@nogymforyourface49 like I said I was 50 when it started. I'm 67 now.
@Rich T considering the cost of a transplant that isn't 100 percent guaranteed I'd rather take that money & go on a nice vacation.
same problem im 60 wish i could shave but scars from crappy surgeries ,its a heavy cross to bear at times,my advice to anyone try a no 2 u never know u might like it,wish i had done that back in the early nineties
Thank you man for this channal, helps me a lot
If you start to lose your hair too young, that won’t stop.. I don’t think a hair transplant would help unless you keep patching through a few years and the mental anxiety would be worse.. nothing wrong to shave your hair younger, it actually looks really good. SMP naturally looking does help a lot.. hair transplants don’t work for everyone unfortunately
Hair transplant does works.
I've done 2 hair transplants and happy I did it feels good to have hair I'm still too young to look 40 when I'm only 31 lol 😆
@Rich T hey bro trust me your not alone on this one. Same thing with me. I started losing much of my hair at 27 luckily it wasn't at 18 or 15 lol 😆
And at only 29 i was looking like 38 lol and at 31 now I look like 28😌 lol hair makes a great difference sadly but it those.
Best decision i made with 2 FUT procedures
I wanna see the short beard again
Will be there in upcoming vids 👍
Baldcafe aye you are a legend . Most impactful 2020 award goes to you
I rock a beard but I keep it short so it doesn't star looking like pubic hair
I think I'll attempt to grow a beard..
Does Adrian have any other videos?
I love you guys!
@Baldcafe You look like one of the musicians for Little Dragon.
He got a hair transplant
He got a a hair transplant about a month ago he’s a very cool guy
Did he share this story somewhere? Perhaps you have a link? I didn’t see he’d had another procedure done. 👍
@@Baldcafe yes google hair loss network forum his name is gatsby and it’s a very interesting read!
@@Baldcafe he had it at eugenix in india
@@Baldcafe it looks like it’s gonna be a really really good result

I'm in the same age range as Adrian, I remember seeing people with the results of 80s hair transplants and it was horrible. It made me feel queasy as it looked like dolls hair punched into the scalp in rows
Yea it’s much improved today. But the scarring issue still remains. A big problem if u want to shave in the future
hey dude, love these videos. i had SMP done too in Houston if you wanna watch my video diary. you look great as a bald guy, i think it was made for you
Why don’t he do SMP on his frontal scar?
He goes too low and it will give an action man effect
SMP doesnt hide a raised/or 3D scar...especially when overhead lighting hits your head. I have a raised ridged hairline from transplants back in the 80's...Recently had SMP and as good as the procedure was, it did not hide the raised, bumpy hairline....I had my smp removed 2 weeks ago
He should get the SMP to cover his scars.
Scar tissue is different, I went through the same thing as him, the scar looked great for a couple of weeks but the pigment fades really fast . The rest of my treatment looks really good though and I'm happy with it.
He did
@@josdav07 who did your work if you don’t mind, smp? Also would it fade for fue?
Second baby, ring a ding ding
Update: Adrian has now had a 2nd hair transplant with Eugenix
I don’t doubt it but where are you getting this info from?
@@Baldcafe th-cam.com/video/fKanNlpeRR0/w-d-xo.html
All good. I stopped being lazy and had a Google. Really hope he finds peace with his hair once and for all
He’s more handsome without hair even at 53! He needs glasses if he can’t see it.
And he ended up getting another hairtransplant recently. Why wouldn't he just give up!
I have lost contact unfortunately I was unable to find his Instagram. Are you in contact with him? I wish him all the best and I hope he finds true peace with it all one day.
@@Baldcafe yeah he is a pretty active member at hair transplant network. At euginix website you can see his hair transplant. after all the talk he did it again and that too body hair transplant where the results generally does not look good. And he knew this. This is disappointing. Wish him all the best.
People with curly hair always go bald fact
Not really, I know a man in his 60 with full curly white hair
Hair transplants are not something that should be offered to someone so young. It seems there was allot of unethical clinics from the 80s.
The scar’s not that bad at all.
I would start taking testosterone. No insecurities after that lol
Lol it sounds nice but it comes with risks just push yourself too your limits at the gym and eat high protein
Yeah, just erectile dysfunction, gynaecomastia and increased risk of heart attack, acne amongst other things. Yeah, nothing to worry about at all...
Al Funn if you’re taking too much yeah. High normal and none of those things apply
Wow he looks terrible with hair
What a creep
What a pathetic comment
WTH first he talked about embracing being bald and get got a major fut done smh
