@@aries2764 I didn't mock anyone initially. I mocked the system. You took offense. Funny how you say I mask my insecurities, yet I'm the one that shaved my head, while you covered your insecurity up. I'm glad you're happy though.
I used to think that, too, but my brother got one a couple of years ago. He had moderate loss, really nothing around the temples anymore but nothing too crazy. Now his hair is like it was in his mid 20's, and it looks really good. I guess it all depends on the person
Thank you man! Your videos are awesome! I'm 21 and started balding at 17. My confidence level was very low because of my hair, but recently I shaved my head and I have to say, I feel great now. It was a step in the right direction to stop worrying about what others might think about me and my hair.
OMG you are incredible... you made me feel so much better. I have a 25 year old son who has suffered so much from losing his hair. How I wish he could meet you! thank you soooooo much!
Holy shiet, I came here for hair transplant research and dam! This was one of the best motivational yt vids I've seen! I'm leaving this vid feeling good about myself.
I was seriously thinking about getting the hair transplant and was STRESSING over trying to get $5000 for the surgery! I’m so glad I found this channel and went bald the weight that has lifted has been worth more than anything.
I’m not bald, but i’m happy that i found this channel. Besides all the bald talk, the message that you deliver, is way deeper. The speech delivery is beautiful, and your wise words motivate men to be more confident, despite of their flaws, and just in général accepting the way they are. God brought us to the world, and we all are beautiful in our own very way.
Hey you are an inspiration Just grabbed my clippers and took it to 0 today. No one has ever talked about this in this way. Thank you so much this channel changed everything for me
Dude you do not know how much I needed to hear this! I’m 27 and bald and I’ve been thinking about getting a hair transplant for a while even though o share the same thoughts and beliefs as you so hearing this really snapped me out of it. You’re a legend mate and you’re doing great work. Thanks a bunch!
Same here Simon, I'm also 27 and bald. I was thinking of getting a transplant. Than I researched into it and understood about how hassle of the process it is. Also brothers in this channel provide motivation which is awesome. I'm glad that you made the right decision brother.
@@VivekSk5 we’re in it together dude! Thanks for telling me that, it feels good knowing someone my age is going through the same thing. How have you found it after shaving your head?
@@sam1r00 I'm feeling pretty good now, brother. First there was lot of anxiety tbh, because I had had great thick hair and I was way more attractive during that time ie my late teens. Used to get alot of female attention. The first sign if hairloss started at the age of 20, the back of my crown area started slowly receding and started looking like some kindoff bird nest. I started getting panicked. As time went by hair started loosing aggressively. By the age of 24, I used to wear caps on daily basis to cover my balding head. People used to ask me why I always use hats or caps. Honestly I was embarrassed at this point. Later at the age of 25, I thought enough is enough and started shaving my head regularly. I've been working out since the age of 16 so I already have a pretty nice body. And the bald head somehow complimented my looks. I felt way more happy and comfortable and for the first time I felt peace from the anxiety related with my hairloss. I've been shaving my head for almost 2 years now regularly. Keep a neatly trimmed beard. Life is good and I'm extremely glad I didn't went for transplant or medications like Finesteride which can mess up with my hormones. Anyway thanks for reading this post Simon. Hope you're doing well too.
@@VivekSk5 that is awesome mate! I’m pretty similar to you to be honest. I had a thick head of hair which I loved but I always knew my bald day would come as my dad is bald and my mum had thin hair. I had really aggressive hair loss at around 23-24 and I decided to shave it off at 25 which took some adjustment but I’m 27 now and I’m pretty used to it now! We’re all different in our own way, like Baldcafe says you should just strive to be the best you can be! Stay awesome dude!
I had a hair transplant. What hassle? YOu go, they do it and its done. It really not a big deal. 650,000 men do it every year. Nothing wrong with shaving either but the option DOES exist.
Great video, Harry. It's funny how we all use the word "cure." Balding is obviously not an illness, yet we all use that word. It's like we've been conditioned to see it as an illness instead of a harmless natural process.
Yeah I was reading some posts today on Reddit and one of the posters said those words "Fighting this illness" It seems like a universal word like its been implanted into our minds. Come to think of it I think I was brainwashed about hair issues - Oh your balding what is your diet like? lol. Oh your balding do you have too much sex? Oh your balding how much water are you drinking? Oh your balding are you stressed? Though I have seen meth users with full heads of hair lol. I remember watching one meth guy take his hat off and hit the pipe with a full head of hair. He was using meth for 15 years - I remembered being confused and a bit annoyed while I am doing everything I can to save my hair lol.
Yeh i find it annoying when people use the verb "suffering", ..."suffering from hairloss", its not a nice thing to happen, but got to put into perspective. Cancer is suffering
Those are some good reasons. I'd add to it that learning how to let go of things is one of the most important lessons any person can ever learn. Nothing is permanent in this life and once you learn it and accept it, you're free to truly live. When people cling too hard to youth, looks, money, love, ect, they become prisoners.
Next time your jeans tear off roam around naked. Its important to let things go. Nature gave you a skin to protect your organs. You don't need to cover yourself with fabrics. Learn to let go.. nothing is permanent in the world. You are a prisoner to the social scheme.
And also depends on their reaction to the drugs etc. sensitivity, response etc. Not the same for every man. Also to your point yeah, there is no point getting a transplant if you aren’t committed to a lifetime of continuous daily routine with the drugs/solitions.
No one look better bald so everyone thinks that they will look ugly when in reality if you are ugly you hairs doesn't matter if you are attractive you will still be.
You have so many examples on Ytb. that you are wrong... just type 'hair wigs transformation' and see how unattractive peoples get really attractive and how they look way younger with hair.
@@unknownsurname9340 I said that, noone look better bald, i've seen some videos but those guys arent ugly and wouldnt look bad bald. It's always better to have hair, but often its not THAT bad to be bald.
I'm 23 years old, balding, and ugly... Not just that; my head shape is weird and definitely not suitable for a shaved head look For the past 3 years all what I've been doing is just growing out my hair in order to hide my hairline and mask the fact that I'm balding In 4-5 years from now once I turn 28, I'm booking a flight to Turkey and getting a hair transplant procedure done and I'm not taking anyone's opinion
I just love how naturally you take it all. By the way, I know you've been told this a million times, but you look absolutely stunning and young with a shaved head Harry. Keep this channel up! regards
Loosing your hair is stressful and traumatic like I did at 17 to be completely bald at 28. I had a hair transplant 1 year ago and I feel so much better for it. If a hair transplant can give you confidence that you look in the mirror and feel the best version of yourself, Get one! Im all for the self love and all - but some of your videos are a little pushy and obsessive. I got a hair transplant for myself, mainly because I did not identify with what I saw changing. So restoring what could of been and retaining mental ease I do not see the problem. A big part of going bald or loosing you hair is to do with identity and the shock to be stripped to something else within a matter of years with little time to adapt can be traumatic. Everyone goes on their own journey and its great you have accepted your baldness if others do not want to accept it, you should support their journey also. Another factor which is really important to assess is if bald suits the person and if they are comfortable with aligning with that image. My hair transplant was not easy and didn't go exactly as planned so I would advise people looking to get one really check what options and Drs are available and choose with complete confidence that they have chosen well. I have wanted a HT since i was 17 and I am really glad I did it. For all the guy who are looking great rocking a bald head - you are doing Great! Best of Luck Gents Jx
I got on Fin as soon as I started shedding to avoid my families genes of being NW5 at 35. So I am 33 now and a NW2 at most. But for me, if I had reached say NW4, I'd get a hair transplant over all other options (shaving, wig, SMP). Honestly for me, my treatment order would be --> Finasteride first, then a HT, then Acceptance (shaving bald), then a WIG, then SMP. Meaning I would not bother with SMP or a system. If you stabilize your loss with Finasteride, then thicken in what you lost with a HT, you can reverse baldness. But, it costs a lot of cash and it takes a lot of effort. For Baldcafe he obviously feels the effort and cash is not worth it, which is fair enough. But he looks good bald, I'd look terrible. If you bury your head in the sand until you are Norwood 7, then one day panic and try to research baldness cures - by then it is way too late. Should have got on Fin when the shedding started.
@@mikesully110 even with finasteride or mimoxidil you can't reverse baldness, those treatments are for keep the hair you already have, and even using that , some men can't even keep the hair they just slowly the process. I think the best solution is the hair transplant but it is effective when you still have hair like an 80% of your hair. If you are 50% bald hair transplant will not work good. I hope the science find an actually cure for baldness.
Hi Harry. You have my support. I'm 30 now and a few years back, I was going through a lot of anxiety over losing my hair and invested a lot of time in searching for hair transplants and making out plans in my head. Eventually, I came to the same conclusion as you did, shaved it off, and am now six months later much happier for it and only regretting I didn't do it earlier. Peace.
Thats awesome man well done. You did the right thing for sure. Use that time and money to go even further in life not just the same guy but now with transplanted hair.
Another thing to consider is (generally speaking) the girls who like you bald probably already liked you when you had hair and vice versa. Despite the insecurities new baldness brings, in my experience it doesn't narrow down which women will be attracted to you or not. The women who don't like me now that I'm shaved, didn't like me when I had great hair. haha and the ones who I do vibe with already had some feelings brewing for awhile. If anything shaving just drew a line in the sand chemistry wise.
I'd say it depends on the type of hair loss you have and what makes you feel the best. If you are 20s or 30s and only have lost a little, I'd say it can be worth it to get a transplant and rock hair while still young. I don't think most people have problem going bald if they are 40+.
I shaved my head completely for the first time last night and I love it! I am still able to grow a fully head of hair and for a little while I haven’t been happy with the way my hair accentuated my face, I had a warrior stripe Mohawk with the sides shaved to the scalp just before I shaved it and I had been taking my hand covering it to get a feel for it and I’m happy that I shaved it. I’ve had a few family members say they didn’t like it and I told them that didn’t matter and they’re probably just used to seeing me with hair because I’ve always had it and eventually it won’t seem weird, what’s important is that I’m happy with it it’s my head after all.
Ok I have a mad story. I was actually in Turkey last week for my transplant but on the morning of the surgery I opted out of it. I packed my bags and literally flew straight back to London. I am so so so so glad that I did! Honestly since I have got back I am quite ok with going bald. Yes I am rocking the Einstein look currently and I am yet to shave the damn thing off! Mainly worried about what my girlfriend is going to think but I guess being bald is who I am! 🤷🏻♂️ I am actually looking forward to rocking the bald look with my beard and getting jacked! 💪🏼
This is going to be that one decision you think about whenever you get asked by someone 'do you have any regrets in life'? Hair transplant are now made affordable, my dad paid $2500 for the whole procedure and $1000 for his plane ticket to turkey. He now looks amazing, with a full head of hair. The biggest reason men dont want to go bald is because it makes you look much older. I guess as long as you are OK with that, it's no bfd
Thanks for that dose of compassionate truth. You're right. I'm never going to have "luscious locks" again. Not up for the straight razor yet. Heading for the clippers and the 1 guard. Wish me luck!
Noticed hair in my hands when I was styling my hair at 18. It was a slow process thankfully and it wasnt really noticeable until I was in my late 20s. Wore hats and worried about it way too much and more than it was worth Shaved it at 31 after some convincing from my bald dad and also mum and wife, and honestly actually really like it. So handy and so many benefits. Feels great not having to worry anymore

I think you should start a bald salon where you can permanently get a full bald look through laser hair removal. IDK if it will work but it is worth a try to see if it is possible. A bald salon where you can come and get shaved professionally by other bald men. You could even start a bald therapy where you use CBT to help people come to terms with their baldness. Tons of ideas TBH.
5-6 years? where did you get that information? It falls when it has to fall. If you do it at like 22, you're back-hair is not gonna fall at freaking 27, so your trasplanted hair is not gonna fall. If anything it will at 40+ by that time there's gonna be IPSC cells treatment.
Genetic modification isn't that simple. In uni I worked in a genetics research lab, using microRNA to knock-out test specific genetic sequences to isolate obesity specific genes. It was a load of work, but we were able to isolate 1 obesity specific gene. The catch? Obesity is a plurifactorial issue, that has to deal with a multitude of different issues. Balding is similar. There are multitudes of possibilities, and the exact mechanics behind how/why DHT affects the follicles isn't entirely known. Plus, betting on a cure that may never come is a bit, how do I say, hopeless? Hell, for all we know sars-cov-2 may be with us for the rest of our lifetimes. Topping it off, you do have to do upkeep. I've listened to Connor Murphy, a male model who had a hair transplant, and he has to do fin+min, and gets PRP injected yearly. Personally, I cannot do min as it makes my heart race. I'm against fin as I value having a family, and lastly, while I actually sell PRP (biologics salesman), I'd rather not have to fork over the treatment and get injections often. Bottom-line is it's not a cure. Balding isn't cured, and quite honestly, it may never be. Who knows. The key takeaway is that shaving it off is the cure. You make the choice, you get used to it, and you continue on. Yes, you'll never "look" as young as you once were, you will get rejected by girls who may have previously went for you... But you can get better. Focusing more inwardly on your hobbies and passions, maximizing other areas such as style and overall health and fitness, and lastly, if women is the issue, you will still be capable of fucking hot girls. Look at Harry, hot girls would definitely go for this dude.

Probably the best advice I have heard about hair transplants. I used to be worried about my hair loss. Now I just have my hair cut short. The Jason Stathom look, dress good and nobody makes any comments. My friend says I look classy with short hair. You are how you feel. Confidence never gets old and never goes out of style. This may seem surprising but they did a study and found that the first thing a woman notices about a man is his Shoes!!!
Lol the reason why you arent getting one is because your primary busines is called baldcafe. Be honest. It conflicts with your brand. And joe rogan had an old FUT transplant, not FUE which is far better than transplants were back in the day, you pretty much can only have one forever if you wait til say...your 30's
Very well-done and inspiring video !! The scarring and the need for dangerous drugs were deal-breakers for me, so no transplant was ever considered And I love to keep my head shaved bald and intend to keep it that way !!
Yes! I agree. Just be the best person you can be. Also, two more reasons not to get a hair transplant. The results are not guaranteed. It is a big gamble. Also, take a look at the things you can control. Improve your style, confidence, and attitude. They mean a lot more than your hair.
Only really discovered your channel, it’s been great to watch and listen to someone else go through similar things. I started losing my hair at 19 and ended up shaving it off at 22ish and have always hated how I look which has really held me back with my self loathing
going bald so buzzed my hair off. I like it but get the odd comment off my girl leading me to think she's not so keen which is really hurtful. but I just got to except she might not find me attractive bald. I definitely feel more confident bald than clinging on to it and not going to go though a transplant due to how other peoples superficial outlooks on my lack of hair
I stumbled onto your site. It is great . I am pretty much comfortable with my baldness now however I started going bald at 20 and I suffered greatly ...as I approach 50 I wish a site like this was around when I was young .. but all is well now . Great work here 😊😊
One of the reasons you mentioned are scars created by a hair transplant. What should do a guy like me already with a long f...king scar on the head as a consequence of a very difficult surgery?
Joe Rogan is a perfect example of why you shouldn’t get a transplant. All the time, money, and effort he spent and it still wasn’t good enough. The remaining hair around the transplanted areas still continue to thin, then you run out of donor hair, and you’re screwed, and now how to shave your head still, only this time with massive ugly scars on your scalp
0:57: Meanwhile, people spending much more on cars and restaurants as a status symbol. 3:35: You only need that in your 30s and 40s. The other thing is that I know people, who stopped balding after 40. A second/third transplant at that age can be permanent even without medical threatment. 5:10: Joe Rogan eneded up with a bald head with scars. It doesn't make that much difference and with that price, he was able to be succesful in life when he was young. 5:50: It's an adventure, and go to London instead. 6:30: It's easier to apply minoxidil and erase a trash hormone, than to shave your head every other day. 8:40: There is no longevity in life. We will be old and look bad anyway. What we can do is maximize our potential. Part of that is fighting for that hair. So the only problem for me is that I really can't affor a permanent brain fog or memory problems.
Great vid! But I have to disagree with #4. It's no shortcut. I saved up for a year for a hair transplant. Then the transplant procedure itself was grueling. For FUE, it took the whole day to do with me having to lay motionless in different positions for hours. Then for two weeks after, I couldn't live normally; had to wear a hat all the time, couldn't wash my hair like usual, used special ointment & shampoos, and had to always be extra careful not to hit my head. Then you've gotta wait one year for the transplanted hairs to grow fully. No shortcut at all. I worked hard for this transplanted hair on my head. =)
I went to Bosley in Beverly Hills to look into it. What kept me from ever having a transplant is the scar. Can’t have that, as I’ve always liked it shaved or really short on sides and back. Yeah, more trouble than it’s worth. Great video! Gave me more reasons to be glad I never did. Thanks!
You'll need a 5a inhibitor such as finasteride or dutasteride. Minxoidil does not prevent hair loss, it's a hair stimulant and will increase the thickness of the hairs which makes your hair look denser.
@@starwarsfan-ye9hw It doesn't keep the density on its own. If you're not taking a 5a inhibitor then you'll still experience hair miniturization. Minoxidil is something that should be used on top of finasteride, not on its own.
@@starwarsfan-ye9hw It doesn't work at preventing hair loss. You don't understand the mechanism of action if you think it does. It will thicken your hair policies, but overtime dht will still miniaturize them intill they're gone and you're bald. The only way to prevent hair loss is a 5a inhibitor.
Hey Harry, I am 17 years old, still in my last year of high school and I recently moved to the united states from Canada. I am Indian by ethnicity and I have been losing hair since I after my birthday in October of 2019. My hair is thinning to the point that I can see through if I move it even a millimeter. This is all really scary especially since I used to take the most pride in the way that I could style my hair and it was practically the only thing I noticed looked good about me. I told my parents (my dad is bald as well) and all he said is not to worry about it and not to focus on it. That kind of made me mad and then after further research, I stumbled upon your channel. Is there anything that you would recommend.. any advice?
@@jonraggett4093 Thank you I appreciate it sir. I have an event coming up this weekend and after it I am considering shaving my head because I am still in the balding stage where my hair is thinning really bad but I still have hair. If I shave it early.. it can always grow back if I want but also i can get past it.
if you get a hair transplant and take finasteride. You'll only need one transplant. Finasteride does a great job of preserving existing hairs. Transplant and finasteride best decision i've made!
So what have the people who have taken finasteride after their first transplant done wrong to need a second? Check out any of the main hair transplant TH-cam channels (run by real people not clinics) most of them have had more than one transplant buddy 👍
@@Baldcafe People will go back for more, like myself (4 times) because you get addicted to the results. It simply looks better and better each time. But if you're full blown bald, yea you'll need more than one because so many grafts can only be done in one session. But for most people that are proactive. You'll only need one but MUST take finasteride. If you take the finasteride you'll be perfect depending if greed sets in where you just want more.
@@Baldcafe You can see results on /r/tressless finasteride and minxodiil is very effective for keeping your hair, and a hair transplant is just for improving density in certain regions or repairing a hairline. It's a tiny minority of people that are non responders to finasteride/dutasteride and minoxidil, most people will have excellent long-term results for as long as they continue it.
Transplant are permanent the native hair you have around the transplant will eventually fall out but the transplanted hair is permanent it’s not affected by DHT
It all depends on the individual if they want to go bald and are fine with it great if they want to get a transplant and take finasteride that’s their choice too. It’s great you host a support channel for people that decided to accept going bald though.
So I’m getting ready to take the plunge, I’ve done it before, I’ve had a good last run with my hair to this point. I want to know is there a product that’s not too expensive that might make my skin look more tan, but without doing the damage that the sun does? When I was tanned, I really liked the way my head looked.
Cost is very expensive, plus they do not always work! And as Harry stated they do not last for long, so they need a 'top-up' at more cost! I have bought a pair of hair clippers, £20 ($26 US) which last for a year or five! I can do my hair whenever I want, no extra costs at all!
Loved this video. You definitely made some great points and I liked the way you presented the whole thing with the background pictures. I'd like to have your take on micro scalp pigmentation. I keep reading good things about it but I don't know if it can be a good idea in the long run.
I used finasteride for about 4 years in total, not sure it made a difference, it might have but the side effects were not good. I'd rather have a shaved head and want sex. 😂 I got a hair transplant in Turkey about 1.5 years ago. It went pretty well. But what you don't really realise is that it just gives the illusion of more hair. In particular at the back, the crown, because of the curve of the head, it will always look thinner. I still have to use concealer at the back, less than I used to and I can give a quick spray to cover it but I still have to use it nevertheless. I would probably need to get more transplants over time and I have come to the decision to not stress about it. I'm lucky the transplant was successful and there is no noticeable scarring when I shave my head. It has given me a stronger hairline when I shave my head ...but I have started shaving all my hair off...and people seem to like it, I like it. If a hair transplant really were a solution then I would advise getting it but it isn't, it can never give you a full head of hair again, all it does is it allows you to hide your baldness a bit longer, while still using concealers and thickeners. I had to go through trying it to see that - luckily I can still shave my head. I may still grow out my hair sometimes and enjoy what I still have because I can but that will go eventually so I am getting used to having very short hair.
Nice view ! Totally agree with it , hair is not all and a hair transplant isnt only gonna be the last one . Im balding but i think it stopped (been taking fin and min) . No sides and doing my thing to keep it , but can totally agree its a hussle and im only doing it cause i know i wouldnt rock a bald look . But if i had a good headshapes he hair would go .
Accepting is beautifull if you can take the plunge, and feel good about yourself.. it really comes down to one thing how much are you attached to your hair?
What about micropigmentation? I've seen loads of them pop up. They look very fake to me and I notice people with them straight away. Do you think there will be more natural looking one's?
MrDisrupta I don’t see it happening because it just isn’t the real thing. I think they do the best with what is available now but I agree. The hairlines often look much too sharp and clean cut. It reminds me of a young white rappers hair style which doesn’t really suit a ton of guys. There is just something much more natural and appealing to a calf shaved head.

I love the completely shaved look but I just hate how pale my head is a day or so after shaving it. Self tanners help a little bit but would love to know your thoughts on this. Thank you for your awesome videos and keep up the good work!!! :)
i've been quoted £8500 to transplant my receding hair line. the money isn't an issue and I've been trying to figure out whether to go ahead with it or not. i've been watching a lot of your vids over the past few days and I think i'm just going to bite the bullet and buy some clippers. I'm not looking forward to it but i don't think I can be bothered with the hassle of the transplant operation and the scars.
@@jad7932 Thanks for the input, dude. I didn't shave my head yet but reading the side effects of finasteride makes me not want the transplant. I'm not a fan of primitive pharmaceuticals and I'm certainly not a fan of decreased sex drive, trouble getting or keeping an erection, ejaculation disorder, increase in breast size and tenderness or nipple discharge. I should however have the transplant consultation before completely ruling it out to see if hormone medication is absolutely necessary.
@@t47i Those side effects are extremely rare and you'd never take any medication if you avoided it over possible side effects. Finasteride at low doses is safe for the overwhelming number of people and without side effect.
I'm 24 years old. I have done hair transplant 1 month ago. But now I'm regretting it. I should've seen this video earlier. The surgery was painful and I'm never going to do it again.
@@Baldcafe your channel is very helpful in boosting confidence about balding. I wish I had found your channel earlier. You are doing very great job. Thanks
Reason Number 5 was by far the BEST reason for not getting a hair transplant, the deepest reason but absolutely spot on if you're on the same wavelength!
I'm 14, I'm so depressed because my hair is thinning, my mom keeps telling me that its hormonal and happens to everyone, my dad says that it's nothing to worry about, whilst my brothers tease the hell out of me. All i want is answers, but all i get is insults 😞
I'm late bro but let me tell you this, don't listen to your brothers, I was 20 when the hair on my temples started thinning and eventually falling and I've spent hours at night looking at myself in the mirror, telling myself that everything was fine and that it wasn't really happening. Now I wish I could get my time back. Do not stress over this kind of things, I know you're young and all your friends have full heads of hair but you can't fuckin defeat genetics, work on yourself and try to be the kind of guy who looks super handsome with buzzcut at 14. Always remember that if you feel great with yourself you will eventually look twice as good as if you feel ugly.
I've vaguely considered getting a hair transplant, but thought I'd never be able to afford it. Now I don't even want a hair transplant anymore. I think biggest reasons (aside from not being able to afford it) are: it often looks weird (like too even hairline, etc), it's unnecessary surgery (ie not life saving), I don't need to rely on having hair on my head to look good, and because I think it would only make me stressed out about thinning/loosing that expensive transplant. I've thinned a bit on top, and my hairline is definitely higher, but I'm not really bald quite yet. I reckon that's just a matter of time though, which I'm mostly okay with by now, but I'm in no hurry about getting shaved. I'll do that when/if I feel like it. But also... consider this: you're good-looking, and I'm quite good-looking too. It's easy for us to not care about looks. Because we never had to. I don't think it's kind to minimise the struggles of those who weren't blessed with good looks. I know many people who've gotten a lot of crap throughout their lives because of how they look, and that affects confidence. Us good-looking people can absolutely struggle with losing our good looks, but that's not the same thing. You seem like a really kind person, just a little harsh on that particular point, in my opinion. If you had been ugly and said "looks don't matter" that would have given a different message.
All of that time, money, stress for what? Shitty hair?
This video is pinpoint accurate.
Ryan Turner Glad you liked it Thanks 🙏

I'm glad you're happy though.
I used to think that, too, but my brother got one a couple of years ago.
He had moderate loss, really nothing around the temples anymore but nothing too crazy.
Now his hair is like it was in his mid 20's, and it looks really good. I guess it all depends on the person
Shitty hair better than a bald head
Thank you man! Your videos are awesome! I'm 21 and started balding at 17. My confidence level was very low because of my hair, but recently I shaved my head and I have to say, I feel great now. It was a step in the right direction to stop worrying about what others might think about me and my hair.
Do you have a gf?
OMG you are incredible... you made me feel so much better. I have a 25 year old son who has suffered so much from losing his hair. How I wish he could meet you! thank you soooooo much!

Yeah same here I love this channel even tho I still have my hair
Patrick Doherty I know right! Clever marketing I think. Scary
dude! that is spot on. I really wish society understood it as just a natural process. nothing to "cure".
Cancer is suffering and illness. Hair loss is not an illness and it's not suffering.
@@shadyrishabh What????? Hmmmmm......
@@jase123111 It was sarcastically said
So true.
The only reason some people lose their after a hair transplant is because they don’t take finasteride and minoxidil
And also depends on their reaction to the drugs etc. sensitivity, response etc. Not the same for every man. Also to your point yeah, there is no point getting a transplant if you aren’t committed to a lifetime of continuous daily routine with the drugs/solitions.
Accepting is easy when you look good bald... but for me in future I will try that hair transplant in Turkey.

Waited for this video for ages! Thank you Harry.
Thanks. glad you liked it 👌
The girls that are with you for your hair, aren’t the ones that will stick around and shouldn’t be the ones your trying to attract.
Ain't it a shame that pretty much all of them are garbage of that kind?
Girls with you for your wallet only.
It's the instant attraction tho isn't it let's be honest your not as attractive without hair that simple
Some women like bald men and find it attractive. Especially Latina and black women
I'd say it depends on the type of hair loss you have and what makes you feel the best. If you are 20s or 30s and only have lost a little, I'd say it can be worth it to get a transplant and rock hair while still young. I don't think most people have problem going bald if they are 40+.
I am so grateful that your channel exists. A very helpful and encouraging message, thank you!
I am actually looking forward to rocking the bald look with my beard and getting jacked! 💪🏼

Great video mate.... currently I don't think I need a hair transplant but with reason 1 is more than enough for not going through that process.
5-6 years? where did you get that information? It falls when it has to fall. If you do it at like 22, you're back-hair is not gonna fall at freaking 27, so your trasplanted hair is not gonna fall. If anything it will at 40+
by that time there's gonna be IPSC cells treatment.

One of the reasons you mentioned are scars created by a hair transplant. What should do a guy like me already with a long f...king scar on the head as a consequence of a very difficult surgery?
I'm doing a poultry farming, omg you like it too,. Your content is always awesome..
Wow the Joe Rogan vid really hit me. I respect the man and had no idea he tried the hair transplants then ended up going with the bald look any way.
wow thats insane. how long ago was it
I went to Bosley in Beverly Hills to look into it. What kept me from ever having a transplant is the scar. Can’t have that, as I’ve always liked it shaved or really short on sides and back. Yeah, more trouble than it’s worth. Great video! Gave me more reasons to be glad I never did. Thanks!
you nailed every point you have made....very well done!
Greetings from Argentina
Leonardo Pozzo Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video 👌
Awesome mate! I complete agree with you on all points. Cheers
hmm, one HT and minox to retain the status should serve well i think 🤔🤷🏼♂️
You'll need a 5a inhibitor such as finasteride or dutasteride. Minxoidil does not prevent hair loss, it's a hair stimulant and will increase the thickness of the hairs which makes your hair look denser.
@@danke1150 if minox keeps the density of your hair it’s the same result then 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
@@starwarsfan-ye9hw It doesn't keep the density on its own.
If you're not taking a 5a inhibitor then you'll still experience hair miniturization.
Minoxidil is something that should be used on top of finasteride, not on its own.
@@danke1150 bro it works by itself 🤷🏼♂️
Is there anything that you would recommend.. any advice?
Make jokes about it, seem unfazed and confident, build muscle.
@@jonraggett4093 Thank you I appreciate it sir. I have an event coming up this weekend and after it I am considering shaving my head because I am still in the balding stage where my hair is thinning really bad but I still have hair. If I shave it early.. it can always grow back if I want but also i can get past it.
@@dhruvjethwq7429 That's the right attitude, give it a go
if you get a hair transplant and take finasteride.
What a great video👍 Lesson in life here not just hair😉
Thanks man, Glad you liked it and thanks for watching 👍
Cost be 15-30k, or up to 46k if you go to America.
I agree man! Great video
Blake smith Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it 👌
Transplant are permanent the native hair you have around the transplant will eventually fall out but the transplanted hair is permanent it’s not affected by DHT
It all depends on the individual if they want to go bald and are fine with it great if they want to get a transplant and take finasteride that’s their choice too. It’s great you host a support channel for people that decided to accept going bald though.
Great video .. makes a whole heap of sense !
So I’m getting ready to take the plunge, I’ve done it before, I’ve had a good last run with my hair to this point. I want to know is there a product that’s not too expensive that might make my skin look more tan, but without doing the damage that the sun does? When I was tanned, I really liked the way my head looked.
You're awesome! Thank you
Appreciate you being here man thank you.
Love. Your. Videos
Hi What do you think of scalp pigmentation?
Nice videos man, your advices really help people
Cost is very expensive, plus they do not always work!
Yeah, until the ink fades away and you need a retouch (is hard the hit the same dot twice)
people act like being bald is ugly. I don't know much hairstyles that are as badass as a nice bald head with beard.
I used finasteride for about 4 years in total, not sure it made a difference, it might have but the side effects were not good. I'd rather have a shaved head and want sex. 😂
I got a hair transplant in Turkey about 1.5 years ago.
Really appreciate you sharing your honest account man 🤝 that’s what it’s about
@@Baldcafe no probs, I like the videos, thanks 🤗
After watching this video become fan of you bro
Pls do more video like that
Great video Harry.
Dude… thank you!
Accepting is beautifull if you can take the plunge, and feel good about yourself.. it really comes down to one thing how much are you attached to your hair?
Pretty much mate
What about micropigmentation? I've seen loads of them pop up. They look very fake to me and I notice people with them straight away. Do you think there will be more natural looking one's?
MrDisrupta I don’t see it happening because it just isn’t the real thing. I think they do the best with what is available now but I agree. The hairlines often look much too sharp and clean cut. It reminds me of a young white rappers hair style which doesn’t really suit a ton of guys. There is just something much more natural and appealing to a calf shaved head.
With your poultry farming you should get the featherless bald chickens! Good video BTW.
Your videos are awesome brother and very educational and entertaining at that!!!! I've been shaving my head for seven years now and sometimes I buzz it with a no guard while other times I shave it completely. Can you do a video on what someone can do to take off the edge of paleness one may experience when completely shaving their head. I love the completely shaved look but I just hate how pale my head is a day or so after shaving it. Self tanners help a little bit but would love to know your thoughts on this. Thank you for your awesome videos and keep up the good work!!! :)
Great Video
i've been quoted £8500 to transplant my receding hair line. the money isn't an issue and I've been trying to figure out whether to go ahead with it or not. i've been watching a lot of your vids over the past few days and I think i'm just going to bite the bullet and buy some clippers.
Give it a try shaving - see what you think
@@t47i Those side effects are extremely rare and you'd never take any medication if you avoided it over possible side effects. Finasteride at low doses is safe for the overwhelming number of people and without side effect.
Plot twist: He made this channel to raise up enough money to pay for a hair transplant
I'm 24 years old. I have done hair transplant 1 month ago. But now I'm regretting it. I should've seen this video earlier. The surgery was painful and I'm never going to do it again.
Hope you have a good recovery regardless bro 👍
@@Baldcafe your channel is very helpful in boosting confidence about balding. I wish I had found your channel earlier. You are doing very great job. Thanks
Needed to see this
Reason Number 5 was by far the BEST reason for not getting a hair transplant, the deepest reason but absolutely spot on if you're on the same wavelength!
I'm 14, I'm so depressed because my hair is thinning, my mom keeps telling me that its hormonal and happens to everyone, my dad says that it's nothing to worry about, whilst my brothers tease the hell out of me. All i want is answers, but all i get is insults 😞
Visit a doctor my guy and get everything checked out for some peace of mind 🙏
@@Ritual999 thanks man , over the months it really doesn't bother me much , the most mysterious and coolest guys are bald
You deserve an award for your comment. Thank you
I'm not even going bald and your confidence and those transplant pictures make me want to shave my head.
