    I was going to pull the fan and shroud to get access. Thanks for the tips and assurance that it would come out with some extra grunt. One thing i do to make jobs like this a touch easier is to put a couple of drops on the bolts at the start of the threads. Assembly is much smooth for those finger tip starting positions and easier to make certain you are not cross threading while in a bind.

    that was a very energetic video. i am shocked at how good it is. you should charge for your vast knowledge. you always have a positive attitude that helps keep negative people away. you are like a modern day native indian and the trailblazer is the buffalo. you are using every bit of that carcass. nothing goes to waste

    You can guide a rachet or a socket wrench through the fan to work the bottom bolt. Also, it helped me a lot to have the bottom bolt put in place first before putting the new alternator in.

    For anyone watching this, he's absolutely right except for the bottom bolt, its a major pain in the ass, before you start this shit endeavor, go find of purchase a 15mm shorty wrench, life will be easier.?.

    Never say something is easy. It's hard, very hard. Especially the bolt on the bottom. The stupid thing is the hoses infront of it. In mine 2005 the end of those hoses are aluminum. Not bending. Now add a sprained elbow or not the right tools. Every case is different

    • @Diversity_Culture
      @Diversity_Culture 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bruh that bottom bolt is a bitch. I try every motherf***** angle. That shit right there separate the boys from man. And putting back in was even harder… I don’t even know if it’s important…. part of me said do I really need this piece, for safety reason I put it…. But gawd damn

    The battery should be fully charged before replacing the alternator because the alternator can over heat charging a battery that low and shorten the life of it.
