I am taking preparation for IELTS exam. And I faced some difficulties with the writing part. One day, I suddenly found your video and they are really helpful. You just not only written the answers but also tell us why the other things are not appropriate for the particular thing. Thank you, my exam will be held with in 10 days. I am hoping to get a desirable score.
The line graph illustrates how many shops were opened and closed in one country between 2011 and 2018. Overall, closures and openings of shops experienced fluctuations in the 7-year period. Looking more in detail, In 2011, 8500 of shops were opened and in the consecutive year, this rate saw a sharp decrease to below 4000 shops. Between 2012 and 2014, the gradual increase can be seen. In 2013, exactly 5000 new shops were opened and this went up to 6000 shops in 2014. Moreover, between 2014 and 2015, about 2000 shop were closed. There was no change between 2015 and 2017, in terms of number of shops with 4000 shops. Also, another 1000 shop were opened at the end of 2018. Approximately 6500 new shops were closed and this rate swings between 6000 to 7300 shops until 2014. After 2014, number of shops that opened saw a huge decrease in 2015 and a big leap to roughly 5000 shops in 2016. Finally, after 2016, closing shops stayed stable with about 5000 shops until 2018.

I feel you. Perhaps, you can try to write the overview first. I often find it difficult to paraphrase introductory text.. So I write the overview and details paragraphs first.

is it even real to write such report in just 20 minutes 🤯 I am not good at analyzing numbers or thinking logically at all. I am more of a philosophical and creative person. It is so difficult for me.
