Had my results last week. Got 7.5 in writing. 6.5 in reading, 7.0 in listening and 8.5 in speaking. With an overall band score of 7.5… Preparation for the exam was just about 5 days. Thanks to some of your lovely tips here.

@@user-ir6mi2xp9v I was natural. I’m neither British nor American, so I didn’t try to sound like them. Corrected myself immediately I made any mistake. Didn’t panic. Never stopped talking till I was told to stop. Used simple and not too complicated vocabularies. And I smiled and responded to the interviewer like I was having a chat with a friend.

Generally, in 1970, the percentage of Uruguayans and Ecuadorians was noticeably less than other nations, whereas Argentina took the lead in terms of residents in percentage terms. Additionally, in 2040, Uruguay and Argentina are forecast to be the most populated countries, while Ecuador is predicted to take the bottom-most position.
Over a 50-year period, starting from 1970, Uruguay and Ecuador showed similar patterns, with both of them accounting for 20%, after which both witnessed a huge increase from 1980 to 2020(from nearly 40% and a bit over 20% to almost 100% and over 60% in turn). During the same period, Argentina and Brazil gradually climbed - despite some fluctuations at the beginning of the period, especially being true for the latter: just over 80% and 60% respectively in 2000. The figures for both of them in 2020 were nearly the same.
Over the duration of forecasts, ranging from 2030 to 2040, the percentage of people living in Uruguay and Argentina is expected to elevate up to nearly 100%, meaning that they will be the most populous countries over the given period, alongside the data being somehow similar to Brazil. However, throughout the projected period, Ecuador is anticipated to occupy the last spot, making up the smallest percentage of inhabitants in 2040 - 80%.

The graph illustrates the rate of people residing in urban areas in four South American erican countries over 50 years and forecast for the next two decades.
Overall, the rate of people living in Argentina and Brazil started at high level, whereas, Uruguay and Ecuador began with a lower population but had a surge over the years to attain their peaks at the end of the time frame.
It can be observed that Argentina had the highest population in 1970, witnessing a steady rise in the next 50 years to reach 90% in 2020, meanwhile, Brazil started slightly below 50% but had a progressive rise to a little below 70% in 1990, however, it experienced a sudden dip but later had a gradual rise to over 80% in 2020. Meanwhile, both countries are forecasted to show a steady rise in population in the next 20 years.
In contrast, Uruguay and Ecuador began with a low population at a level slightly below 20%, however, both countries continue to have a surge in people to reach slightly above 90% and almost 70% in 2020 respectively. Furthermore, these two countries are predicted to have a slight increase in population in the next two decades with Uruguay reaching the highest point.

If you'd like to have your essay checked, textranch.com is a great place where proofreaders can check your vocab and grammar for a couple of dollars. Indeed, ChatGPT can help with that too, but double check it. Just never ask an AI to grade your answers. What I've seen so far is simply wrong and an accurate model hasn't been created yet

Is it ok to write 250 words for task 1
High-scoring answers are often longer. However, for most students, I'd recommend writing 170-190 words to have more time to think and check your answer

yes I think so about 200 is fine for task 1. I got band 7 in writing recently
No, it won't reduce your score and high-scoring answers (Band 8-9) are often longer. However, for those who are not yet fluent, I recommend targeting 170-200 words as writing more takes more time, which you don't have

In 1970, Uruguay had twenty percent population which had reached around 95 percent surpassing the other nations and in the next decade its inhabitant's percentage is predicted to remain stable. However, in 1970, Ecuador's percentage was nearly twenty percent. In the year 2020, it had grown around forty-five percent. After that, in the period of two decades it had oscillated and reached around sixty-four percent. It is predicted that Ecuador's number of citizens will rise from 2030 to 2040.
In 1970, the number of people in Argentina was approximately sixty-five percent and had grown slightly till 2020 and reached around ninety-four percent,while, Brazil's percentage had risen approximately to sixty-five percent. It had commenced to varies until it had reached the year 2020. The percentage population in Argentina and Brazil is predicted to stay steady for next ten years.
