Thank you immensely. My phone ceased charging after taking a tumble. Following your guidance, I repositioned the cables, and then administered a cleaning using a stream of nitrogen gas from my lab. Now, it's working just fine. Thanks again!

Hi. Great video. May I ask? If I put XM5 on the charger and the orange charging indicator does not light up, what could be the issue with it? Thanks
That would most likely be a bad charger port. If you use these headphones for the gym, then their could be corrosion on the boards due to sweat. You could definitely send your device to our repair center. Here is the link to our website 👉www.joesge.com/pages/repair-service - JoesGE

You got it!
Hi there! I have an odd issue with my WH-1000XM5. All ok, then suddenly, last week, they have stopped charging properly. Orange light comes on as normal, but then, starts flashing orange after 30 mins or so. Headphones now don't charge above 1%. Have tried many cables and chargers - always the same. Have reset to factory defaults, but still the same. Is this repairable? Cheers.

How do I know if is my charging port damaged or my battery?
It would be hard to tell without having the unit in front of us. If the headphones ran out of battery normally, then when you plugged it in it didn't charge, then it could be the charger port. If it just randomly died, then it could be the battery. Please email us at support@joesge.com with your question. We will be able to better assist you there. - JoesGE
