    Best Mango cake recipe. Have made so many, not come across such a nice one with actual mango pieces and soft sponge. Mango cake is challenge to make as mango being so dense doesn't rise easily, but this recipe is spot on!! Thank you so much!!!

      Victor Osa Asemota You can simply make cake flour by removing 2 tbsp of ap flour of the total bowl of ap flour and replace it with corn starch!

      The mango pulp makes it difficult for the cake to rise. If your eggs are extra large you could use less eggs.

    I'm new to baking. For how long does the oven need to be pre-heated?

      Till it reaches the baking temperature. Then you put the cake in and bake it for the given time.

      Butter will make the cake more heavy. Oil keeps it light and fluffy.

      I don't think adding chocolate essence is a good idea. Please don't add any essence if you don't have vanilla

    What size bundt pan have use used? You should be more specific about that. It affects baking time, temperature and how the cake turns out. I am going to use a 13"×9"×2" pan or a loaf pan; which would you recommend?

      I used 10 x 10 x 3 bundt pan. I have not tried with other dimensions.

    4 tdp baking powder in this mango cake which was otherwise perfect could,ve made cake bitter? Pl revert. I am baffled. Baking powder was not expired product. What went wrong then?

      Yes any type of mango would work. Mango essence won't give you a natural flavor

    I tried the exact same recipe, it is giving a bitter flavour don't know what could be the problem. I think 4tsp baking powder is really too much for 2 cups of flour.

      Since you say 4 TSP baki g powder is much,then pl advise what is the amount to be added to get cake without bitter taste. Would be helpful

    Tried this recipe out, but to my bad it turned out really bad . Dont know what went wrong. Followed the recipe exactly like it is. It tasted too floury and just over all bad. Had to throw it away . idk none of the cakes I’ve tried has ever gone waste. So a lil disappointed 😔

      I used the Betty Craker yellow cake box, 3 eggs & 1/2 cup oil everything else in the video I did and it came out really, really good and tasty
