This article provides a fairly good explanation (bit.ly/Controversy_Explained ). The main issues are to do with BetterHelp's terms of service which they say they are now addressing. When I was approached by BetterHelp, it genuinely was a service that I wanted to use. I tested the service out and it was great. I still use the service in fact. Andy is not an actor or anything. He really is my counsellor. If anyone is thinking of signing up to BetterHelp please be aware of these potential issues. I personally am still supportive of this service. It really has helped me a lot. I don't think it is a complete replacement for face to face counselling, particularly with more severe cases. But it does potentially provide people with additional options for counselling; the only option for people in some circumstances. For me, the service has been very helpful. The very small amount of money I've made from this sponsorship has all gone towards paying for my own subscription for the service (thank you). Although I've not heard any bad reviews from any of you who signed up via this video, I am deeply sorry if this sponsorship has caused any of you any problems. This was my first sponsorship. I tested it. It was great. I now know I should look into things like this in greater detail. My apologies. On a separate note, if you are in the UK, counselling is available via the NHS. My doctor didn't recommend NHS counselling due to exceedingly long waiting lists in my area. I instead took part in a group CBT course. It was helpful but in the end it was clear I just needed to talk through some things with a professional. I just wanted to make this clear as I think the video may suggest that counselling is not a viable option via the NHS. Thank you everyone. Stay well.
I've made the dislike count public so that you can decide whether this video is worth your time. I worked hard on these videos and, as a relatively small creator, I was very proud of my (mostly good) like/dislike ratios. Well done for being honest about mental health. Most of us will encounter a mental health issue in our lifetime so the more exposure the better. Are you going to the campout this year? Vegetarian here (been one most my life), trying to go vegan. Love your videos and yes, getting help is incredibly important. I did not seek help soon enough, but it did help me when I did. If you think you need therapy or counseling, you might really be skeptical about it but should definitely try it. It might take a couple of counsellors before you find one you're happy with but it's definitely worth it.

So happy to come across with your channel. I've actually watched almost all your videos over the last 2 days. The thing is I live in a Siberian city with a poor selection of vegan ingredients, which makes the majority of exquisite recipes simply impossible to repeat. Watching vlogs of some American perfect vegans is definitely useless for me here, makes me feel disappointed in my limited options. But you suggest such simple (in a good way), affordable, achievable and down-to-earth recipes that I'm just longing to repeat them all (afraid of gaining some weight, though). And your humour, just precious. As if I knew you for ages. Cheers

Hey sista. Don't apologies for your comment. It was on topic and very poignant. I'm glad you liked my little story. I think a big key to mental health is, as you say, sharing and normailsing these experiences. Thanks again. Your comments are always appeciated 😊
These are gorgeous!!! I had a lot of fun making snickers with you. Usually when I see recipe like this on the blog for example I’m like “omg no way this is too hard”. But you make it seems really “easy”, and give me a chance to try, thank you :) I found that they don’t last long outside of the fridge. And I didn’t find them exactly like the real thing, maybe just with the thought of snickers. But I actually think that this ones are much much better.
Your videos are some of the few cooking videos I watch and re-watch for the hectic (and brilliant) editing and all the funny bits. This recipe turned out great by the way, even though I didn't use any butter or extra sugar for the caramel. Thanks!
Okay so it’s 2 in the morning and I just found this video and now not only I’m laughing so hard I’m worried my NEIGHBORS can hear me but I’m also hungry af and these mouth watering treats will surely be my first thought tomorrow morning so I will definitely give them a try! Liked and subscribed, thank you so much!
I don’t recall the details any more but betterhelp got into some trouble a while back. I know Philip Defranco used to use them. Then he mentioned a few potential problems and that he was not going to use them as a sponsor until he dug more into it, saying there would be a full episode about it. But now, there is complete silence from him. I think the problem had to do with their lack of credentials. Worth looking into.
The sponsor look like a pretty great service, I think I should look into it. Thank you very much for sharing it! Sounds like a win win if it helps you and me both!
I’ve went ahead and made a batch of these for my family New Years tomorrow night. I had snuck a bite. THEY ARE SO GOOD. My parents aren’t vegan so my dad always ask if my food has tofu in it. 😂 thanks for the recipe!
If I’d had depression, this video would have cured it. I laughed far more than I expected to. You’re very funny and your recipes are great. And kudos for talking so candidly about mental health. You have a new sub. 🤝
Love it. I love snickers, and think the personal counselling service idea is amazing; I suffer from pretty bad depression, unfortunately I've found counselling doesn't really help for me but I've heard about how much it has helped others, so I'm glad you're promoting this service! =)
Love this! So important that people have access to mental health support ❤️❤️ thanks for sharing 🌈and yummmm vegan snickers my fave thing to make and eat 🤤
Just found your channel yesterday and I've already watched all of your videos. Beyond the delicious looking food you are really entertaining. Keep up the good work!
Love this video, I appreciate the sponsor and the honestly about mental health. I also got excited at the CBT part because I did a ton of DBT work, which is super similar to CBT :)
Highly entertaining recipe. Excellent presentation. I will be making these - and then asking my son to hide them so I don't eat them all in one day! I'm just turning vegan, the boy too, and taking it slowly so it's not too much of a system shock for him. He'll love this Snickers recipe and it might encourage him into the kitchen a little more. I'm amazed at just how inventive and tempting a lot of these vegan recipes are. I thought it would be more difficult to do. Hope all continues to go well with combating depression. Horrible to go through, been there myself, recovered years ago (by making some major life changes).
I fucking love your sense of humour. Your videos are great for a laugh. On a more serious note, getting help is very important. I kept everything to myself for 6 years. I went through Hell and came back and pretended that everything was fine. I finally started therapy, after abusing myself and my body and starving myself, because I didn't want to end up killing myself. I had a few attempts. Whoever is reading this, please don't be afraid to reach out. People you love are there for you, and even people you never thought of. I didn't want to tell my mom because I didn't want her to think she was a bad mother, but by doing that, she thought so anyway. She didn't notice what I was going through, and she didn't notice that I was wearing long sleeves all the time. Please reach out, please seek help. It's worth it. I promise. I'm 2 and half years on my recovery journey and I never thought that all that is happening now would happen. I'm cured from my anorexia. I'm cured from my depression. I'm cured from my anxiety. I'm 1 and a half year clean. I graduated high school (something I never thought I would do), I'm in uni now, and most importantly... I'm alive!
Thank you Mariam for sharing your story. Mental health is something we don't talk about enough I think. Just hearing another person's experience and triumphs has so much power. So again thank you and best wishes moving forward ☺

Liked and subscribed, thank you so much!
Man, where was this perfect channel?! Ultimate combination, funny+useful recipes! Is this heaven?
This video is adorable!! Also, thank you for bringing such a serious issue to light and giving people some options they might not have known of!
Stopped by to see if you had any new videos. Sending Love and Light!!! Thanks for all your awesome post!!!
Thx for this great recipe but I cannot find the recipe through your link?...👍🏼😃
I miss this guy so much!!!
The sponsor look like a pretty great service, I think I should look into it. Thank you very much for sharing it! Sounds like a win win if it helps you and me both!
dude, you're amazing and your editing style is hilarious. really curing bad mood with yuor vids! keep going ! love from a russian vegan
I’ve went ahead and made a batch of these for my family New Years tomorrow night. I had snuck a bite. THEY ARE SO GOOD. My parents aren’t vegan so my dad always ask if my food has tofu in it. 😂 thanks for the recipe!
I can't believe I haven't found this channel until now!! I'm now watching every. single. video..... where has the time gone...
If I’d had depression, this video would have cured it. I laughed far more than I expected to. You’re very funny and your recipes are great. And kudos for talking so candidly about mental health. You have a new sub. 🤝

A very nice comment.
I heart your channel
Genuinely the best video I've seen in a while! Say hi to Mibbles
Everyone needs to make these now! They are fantastic.
This video lifted my mood immensely! Wow! Your personality just gained you a new subscriber 😊
Thank you for sharing. Your wonderful spirit is my antidepressant. Snickers look so good, all of your recipes look wonderful
I just liked your channel and you are one cool dude, know that there are people who value you and what it is you have to offer!
This is fantastic! I could've used the Counselor access many times in the past. Well done.
I applaude Andrew for making his first apperance. Brave man indeed!
Will have to try these snickers, looking fine af as per usual!
Your videos are the best. I'm glad you're feeling better.
I feel like the happiest people are the most depressed
I always love your videos and congrats on getting sponsored by such a great company 💛💖💛 you are ze best!
Anyone else made these? Seriously they are ridiculously the nicest snickers bar I've ever eaten! Fantastic effort and well worth all the preparation
You are amazing!! Just discovered your channel.. I haven’t laughed so much in a while xx
every video is pure gold! 🙌🏼
I'm going to try these.
Nice way to sponsor a video
You're so light and extreme at the same tame
Wizard! So charming and as always so delightful. Honestly had a harsh day and this was relieving to watch. Gonna go make the bars.
This is amazing, love the simplicity, creativity and humour 😍
Love your videos, recipes and humor! Keep them coming!
