Greetings! Unrelated question: i just put a male blue half moon betta into my 20 long tank with 14 black neon tetras. He's been out in the open and had a look around, and the teras and he have all but ignored each other, no fin nipping either. The betta ate this morning. But mostly he's hiding, laying low, and not coming off as energetic. How long do you think itll be until he's settled in and swimming more? He's a bit of a showoff, flaring his fins when he floats still out in the open. I think he may be wary of the presence of other bettas. Thanks.

Yep! I’ll have 5 colors, and will be selling them in pairs. They are nicer strains, but I will eventually sell some “mut” guppies as well for cheaper once mine are adults :)

The one gallon grip jars are form a restaurant supply store, and the beanies (acrylic boxes) I bought locally off someone who used to collect beanie babies. I am in the process of ending a video about how I jar bettas that will go into more depth :)

I mean the bags aren’t labeled so I sex them myself. I have accidentally put males into my sorority, but I generally catch it a day later

For a moment I thought you had figured out a way without a transhipper when you said you were getting them from the Portland airport. Don't we wish.
Having a license or transshipping is always required due to US and Thai laws. But you don’t have to have your fish shipped via UPS, USPS or FedEx. If your box is large enough it’s more economical to ship with cargo, and much faster. My most recent box was put into transit with next flight guaranteed at around 2am, and arrived at my airport at 12pm the same day. So only a 10hr transit time.
The cost for my 60lb box is under $120, which is great. It’s only economical if you have many fish of course, but it’s the best way to do any type of fish wholesale shipping

Sorry I don’t share exact suppliers. If you want to try and figure it out, go for it! But it takes a lot of time/money/effort to find my suppliers and I don’t just give out that information.

You just have to use a stock tank so it will hold water safely without risk of breaking with the weight :)

I have been posting on TikTok and instagram consistently but have been a bit too busy and overwhelmed to make more long form content. The last 6 months I have been trying to move into a commercial location for my LLC. The first place ended up falling though and our new location took a while to secure and finish necessary work to move our fish in. We just finished up moving our fish into our new storefront location that also has storage so we can continue to sell online.
I am continuing online sales while also building out a local fish store, and it’s been very busy. I would like to make more TH-cam videos about the process of building a fish store, but have to get a bit more organized first
