    Worth adding some info on the tightening of the bolts at the flange. Many people over-tighten them and don't realise you need to leave about a credit card's worth of gap between the spring coils.

      Install was pretty easy after going to a couple Lowe’s to find the nuts since the exhaust didn’t come with any. Sound is awesome and look is great.

      I’m glad to hear it. Have fun!

    Thanks for the video! Looking forward to seeing if there's any performance gains with this particular exhaust, as well as hearing your thoughts on it after living with it for a bit.
    My first exhaust I ever replaced was a turbo back, and the second a cat back, so doing an axle back on the Miata if/when I decide to go that route should be a piece of cake!

      It really was an easy install. I do really like the deep note of the exhaust. I hope to get it on the dyno in the next couple weeks.

    Hello Sir good day, I just wanna ask if catback exhaust system without catalytic coverter can harm or damage the engine in the long run? Thank u

    Does the Greddy Axleback come with new hardware bolts? Or reuse the oem one?

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If I recall correctly I reused the OEM bolts.

      @@TheLemonFactor did it come with nuts since the Greddy doesn't have welded in nuts like oem muffler?

    Did you replace the gasket? Or reused the old one

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I reused the old one as it was in great shape. The car has very low miles.

      The Lemon Factor! Thanks for reply! My 2019 has 6000km also, ordered an AFE axle back, that was my only concern if I should replace the gasket

      You’re probably fine, but you’ll know when you install it. Worse case is that you find that you do need one and use the old one until the new one arrives - it’s an easy install.

    Did you have to pick up 2 extra new nuts to install it?

    • @TheLemonFactor
      @TheLemonFactor  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not. Why do you ask?

      @@TheLemonFactor Just saw on the miata.net forum some people said the stock bolt was too short and they needed to replace it with a longer one. Then they needed 2 extra nuts to lock it in. (the nuts on the orginal muffler was welded in)

      Everything I needed to install the Greddy axle-back was included. I did not need to purchase any additional parts.
