If you should use the original 6 amp batteries from Makita insted of these Chinese knock offs the chainsaw will perform a lot better and will not stop that easy. If you open the Chinese batteries you will see they are only 3 amp or less. They sell them as 5 or 6 amp but that's bull sh.t they are a lot less.
love my Kobalt 80-volt brushless 18" chainsaw with a 5-ah battery. - Still being sold on Lowes website as of 5/26/2024 - I have (2) Kobalt 80-volt 18" Bar Chainsaws and use (2) 5 AH Batteries. Using it on a Southeast LA farm of 18 acres of tall large pine trees that was devastated by a Hurricane with a tornado. most of 10 acres nearly all down. The chainsaw has. been working great even cutting huge logs and trees up to 20"+ logs and it works like a great. And NO more pulling and pulling to start a gas-powered chainsaw. My first 80-volt 18" Bar Chain saw with a 5-AH Battery and charger was $400 in Jul 2021 and just this year bought the second one.
Yeah I thought ide give it a good test haha. Keep in mind tho this is worst case scenario. This is a very old dry peice of wood and the blade was only just sticking out the other end. So very heavy work. However yes I will agree they are pricey for what you get.

Ripper video mate. Appreciate the honest review. Reckon I'd give the corded Makita a go.

Your chain is not sharp, thats why you cant cut, you touch the chain on the dirt for 1 second and your chain can be ruined
Ей бы редуктор 1:2 и была бы мощность, без отключений. Как у Макита 302.
Chances are that is ironbark anyway or yellow box.
I always thought that Gum wood was soft wood ❓❓❓❓
Thanks for the review. This is good to know prior to purchasing something g like this. They are a lot of money for what you get.
