i like their 36v line, instead of introducing a whole new platform like Dewalt 60v and Milwaukee fuel series, people like myself with tones of old batteries can enjoy newer more powerful tools, because of this simple fact, I can look past Makita 36v series other minor flaws, they all work great, but for long time makita user, its just nice to be able to save some money.
Na..this is 36v vs a 18v .. actually Makita not known for power as Ridgid Milwaukee and DeWALT blow it away on most tools ..Makita is known for durability
i have the dewalt love it we have been cutting down old decks, sheds since it came out replaced chain a few time works great im going to buy 40volt this summer great video
I want to get a greenworks 60v or 80v chainsaw, I have the Ryobi brushless 18v chainsaw, and I couldn't be happier. I want a larger cordless one now to cut bigger trees.
Thanks for the Acme deal. I scored one. But I’m all in with Makita. So thinking of flipping the Dewalt for a Makita bare tool. Probably after seeing your video. Thanks
My makita chainsaw uk has the metal teeth it’s the same with the battery’s on the back the new one has the twin batteries either side and u should see the tree I took down with it
Makita took it by 30 seconds. But it should it's dual batteries have it boasting 36v. With a 9.0 kinda shocked to hear the DeWalt bog down under load like it did. And 30 seconds is alot of time. Kinda re thinking this purchase might have to go EGO
Rethinking??Bog Down??? It's a 12 in chainsaw ..it's amazing it did it at all ..not made for this application...yea if your looking to cut logs get 16 in or a gas chainsaw not a 18v 12" lithium ion chainsaw
@@toolboss8410 I want the 12" I'd be cutting 6x's ,4x's mostly. But I'd like the ability to rip a branch or limb if needed. I'll probably grab it but the EGO 14" looks impressive

I think the chain for Dewalt needs resharpening
Looks like you need to sharpen the chain on the DeWalt
The makita looks like its cutting the wood faster then the dewalt
That is why I only buy mostly makita. Not many cordless lines do that. And a lot of makita stuff can beat or tie the newer stuff.

👍👍👍🤟
Mikita 14in chainsaw brushless is way better
The makita did cut a little faster, but for my needs and the great deal, the dewalt is still a great deal. Thanks for demo.
Yea for the price no brainier ..much better run time also ..brushless and 12.0ah ..Makita brushed 5.0ah
The makita is an arborist saw guys.. best one I've seen so far,, that's why the handle and trigger is on top.. look up stihl arborist chainsaw
Which is faster? Cross-cutting through 8" logs using a Dewalt chainsaw vs a high-quality hand saw? My vote would be for the hand saw.
Best channel out there! Great job again Boss!
Thanks Doug.. much appreciated 👊🏻
It's good habit to sharp chain before each use.
But the 36v anything circ or recip really hard for them to beat.

Coz milwakee is shite
Great video tool boss nice comparison

В России Макита более доступна, чем в США. В США девольт более дешёвый относительно Макиты.

I like that makita. 👍

Correct that too 😉😉
Milwaukee 16” for the win!!😂
👍👍👍
I think dewalt 16" 60V flex volt is better
Different handle typew
Makita was a faster cutter
👍👍👍👋👋👊🏻

Don't use these if you are old. You might die of old age before you get the job done. There might be some decent battery chainsaws, but these aren't.
These aren't made for cutting wood .. made for 4x4s and light pruning ...
Mikita will win any day
