    My best friend has the ryobi chainsaw and I love it but I couldn't justify having different batteries and chargers laying around i bought the new makita chainsaw 36v brushless and i am hooked. My wife and her sisters can use it and I think i want an extra just for my jeep. God bless you and your family, nothing but love and respect from Brookfield Connecticut!!!

    Cheers for the review legend. Considering buying one for camping and traveling. Seems like a handy thing to have plus all my tools for work are makita.

    Great review buddy, they look like the goods, cuts plenty enough for camping. You mentioned you also had the Ozito, how was that and why did you buy the Makita? Cheers. PS- Love the fridge cam, nice touch :)

      I went the with the Makita as i had 10 batteries 5amp and 6amp. The Ozito did the job as well . Bogged down alittle bit in harder wood. I found the Makita better with hardwood. For camping trips the both work well.👍

    Thanks for speeding up the video cuts and adding music, so we camt tell exactly how loud it is, and how long it actually takes to cut a log

    Great review mate, pretty sure you’ve just convinced me to pull the trigger on getting one. How much charge was left in the 6ah batteries after you cut all that wood ?

    • @Australian_Outdoor_man
      @Australian_Outdoor_man  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Matt. i had 1 light on after cutting that wood. So i could of done afew more cuts. I use it once every two weeks. Still runner fine. I just clean it once a month and top up the bar oil . Im going camping for 14 days and it will be with me for the trip. I love it mate Game changer

    Great review,does this chainsaw come with a bottle of chain and bar oil or do you have to buy it seperatly?

    • @Australian_Outdoor_man
      @Australian_Outdoor_man  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers David . It does not come with any bar oil in it . You will have to buy it separately

    Just got this chainsaw and love it. 1st time out, I got 30 to 40 min of cutting time. 2nd time, after charging on the double charger, it only ran 3 min and the batteries died. Ever experienced this?

    • @Australian_Outdoor_man
      @Australian_Outdoor_man  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never have i had it only run 3 min. . Just do another re-charge and see how you go

    Is that chainsaw same like duc353, just with longer bar ?

    • @Australian_Outdoor_man
      @Australian_Outdoor_man  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jure Yes thats correct the DUC353 has a 14inch bar
      The DUC400z has a 16inch bar

      @@Australian_Outdoor_man i just dont know should u buy duc355 or duc356, 356 is a tophandle and has boost mode

    • @Australian_Outdoor_man
      @Australian_Outdoor_man  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@i1bike The 356 you need to carry the tool to adjust your bar/chain tension . They both have the same amount of RPM / chain speed as well. I only brought the 400z just for the 16inch bar. You will be happy with both. 👍

      @@Australian_Outdoor_man Please tell me, many people in comments across internet told me one thing that is annoying with duc353. When you press power and u cut something, when you put it aside, after 5 seconds saw turns itself off, and you have to start it again constantly, if you are cutting something and moving cutted logs in same time. Can you start your chainsaw and put it aside to see, will it really turn itself off after 5 seconds. Why is this important for me ? - i am buying thiy chainsaw for my father. He is old and very very short tempered. If chainsaw will keep turning off after 5 seconds he will probably break it. I am very afraid he will break it cuz he has PTSD, he is war veteran. Thats why it matters to me so much. If its possible, please, can you do that test ?

    • @Australian_Outdoor_man
      @Australian_Outdoor_man  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@i1bike they do turn off after 80 seconds just tested it now. Its not a big problem as its very simple to start agian. If he puts the chainsaw down for a little bit. After 80 seconds its does turn off. But as you pick it up the 1 button to activate it is right where your thumb is. Your dad wont have a problem with it at all.
