Good job. I’m looking at an old skid that doesn’t have a motor. After watching your videos I think I will grab it and do the swap

Great job!!!👌 I'm about to try this myself. I'll probably F it up 🤣.
ONLY FOR SAFTEY: I wanted to point out was the cinder blocks were laying sideways under the tires. They will crush in a flash. The open 00 side up is the load bearing side.
With that said your fabricating and mechanical skills are awesome 👍
I wish i had more experience in that area😒
But thanks for showing me it will work if you know what your doing🤟😝🤘

Cinder blocks have killed a lot of DIY guys. Side was laying them is even worse. Get some wood blocks or jack stands. Other then that I enjoyed watching the build.

😆 me too, unfortunately the weather (as usual) is preventing that until spring as the property around me is a mud pit/lake/quicksand

      Skid steers don’t like mud!

Was wondering if you had the dimensions of your plates and if you could post the link for the shaft sleeve adapter you used. i am doing exactly what you did here and would be very appreciative! Thank you for showing this!

the top plate of the adapter is 10'' D x 10 3/8" W and sits 3" off the floor. the lower legs stick out about 1.5" After making that plate as I show you need to bolt your motor to the transmission housing and try to center the motor to mark your drilled holes for mounting. as far as the shaft adapter sleeve, I updated the video description(not sure how I forgot that ) best of luck

For safety sake never use cinder blocks to block up heavy equipment or autos

In general this may seem crazy but there is a reason homes are built on them. They are built to withstand 1900-2600 ponds per square inch. Given I am using 4 that makes a weight capacity of up to close to 10'000 lbs. The skid steer weights in at 1630lbs meaning as little as one block could hold the weight of this unit. That said didn't help I had them sideways 😆

I am looking at one listed for like $1600 but says has a bad right drive pump. I would love to do a rebuild like this on that one

drive pumps or wheel motors is not hard to do.
