Watching you be more delicate with a 50,000lb machine than I can be with a 5lb shovel is fascinating. You are a joy to watch, Chris. Thanks for sharing.
@@shaneharrison9609 It may be easy to learn what the controls do and how to use them, but it is not easy to have the finesse he has. I don't know how to use an excavator, but I sure can tell if someone is having a hard time. I have watched others on YT and IRL. People who are considered experts and they don't have the control he has.
I have done a fair amount field service work, the work you guys did on the truck was righteous, you did a really decent job of getting it back into service, excellent job of weld repair and grinding on the spherical big bore it should last a good long while for you. Going to be an interesting repair project on this dam, thanks for the video, enjoyed watching.
Don’t get me wrong, love the new pond builds but these remade and fixed ponds are always a make for a good video!! Going to be sweet seeing the end product.
Looking good Chris, I’ve always said that you were the Pond Master! Thanks for sharing and we’ll see you in the next one! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻💯💯💯
Another great project to undertake. Pretty setting. 220 security from the bugs. Bearing all fixed - Barney good to go. Tree trimming is not a fools game - some trees have a 'mind' of their own so it's good that you are always aware of that LetsDig18.
The Pond Master gets to work his magic again. Good to see Barney is no longer disabled. Draining the pond and making a waterfall, just not as big as Banner Elk.
The part I don't understand is why do they use virgin plastic to make them tubes . That would be a great place to mix in recycled plastic even if they make it thicker or a blend of virgin and recycled could be beneficial . For the drain pipes .
12:00, and here, I pride myself on working with a pair of long handled snips, a pole with a rope and a pair of snips on the end, A TO 30 Ferguson tractor with a little red trailer I pull around, And even have a small chainsaw. Life could be so much easier. 😁
Hey Chris, with that new bushing in Barney, he'll be good as new. Along with your expert use and your proper scheduled maintenance, having a great mechanic really adds to the life of your equipment. Can't wait for the next installment. Stay safe out there.
When I'm tired, the sound of the machine, especially the excavator, puts me to sleep. Which I guess is a good thing, because I have to watch again, and you get another view. 😂
I like these kind of jobs Chris, Pretty cool to see ya take a mess like this one and fine tune it, back into shape !! Got a pretty good start Man !1 Great as Always !! Have a Great Evening, And On too the Next !!
@mula2626 I've been watching Chris for years. If you have ever watched the old videos, you'd know what I'm talking about. Chris is a very hard-working man and very talented. But some of his pond builds are epic. Great question, though.
The foundry I left in Indiana used to make those bushings by the thousands and many sizes for a company called Neway in Dayton Ohio and I'm sure they shipped them all over the US and we also made the same ones for after market
It's so funny to watch Chris calls for mechanic to do the job and get it done right and then Chris tells the mechanic. How to do the job? That's what makes Chris so good. What he does, he's good at everything.
That overflow pipe should have had a purpose built plunge basin with 300-600lb foundation riprap lined for a 100' distance. Otherwise erosion will be out of control forever. But I'm sure your repairs will alleviate all of the pond's overflow problems.
Looks great!! A little mosquitoes ,,slightly infectiony...lol ❤hope you got frog's 🐸and or fish 🐠,,,here in Hawaii there's a tiny little fish I've seen used in cow/horse 🐴 water tubs/ buckets that eat the bug larvae,,,,makes me itchy thinking about it!!! Lol Aloha's awesome possum thanks for sharing!!! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🎸🎸🎸🎸🤙✌️🦎🐸🦎🐸🦎🦎🙏👍🍺🍕
41:31 what will really blow your mind is God knew you would need that hunk of steel/bushing before time even began and before steel was even a thing to mankind.
🇮🇪☘️🇺🇸 was sitting w/my youngest fix anything ( also a ❤️Charlie) son watching you on some older vids repairing & loving ur long line. He’s a quiet unpeoplie loves big rumbling machines like you. Chris is amazing for sure but to be honest it’s so much easier than many people realize.

What ever happened to the Vet Hospital? You put so much effort into helping to make it.
You can see it online, I forget were online.
Watching your expertise in problem pond repair jobs is indeed fascinating, entertaining and instructive.

Got love a good pond repair. Sure miss the old pond dredging videos. I sure you don’t miss all the mud.
The Pond Master gets to work his magic again. Good to see Barney is no longer disabled. Draining the pond and making a waterfall, just not as big as Banner Elk.
Glad to see Barney got some love and the that one was a bit stubborn too break yup was a good show too nicely done 👍😎🇺🇸 NY
Some of these people have some amazing properties. Love the ponds with the trees. Do you ever want to throw a line in and see what you can catch?
Good work!!

your plan for repairing this pond sounds good, Chris, and know in the end of this project will be looking great and everything working🙂
Is there anything better then LetsDig18 and a new pond project!!!!
12:00, and here, I pride myself on working with a pair of long handled snips, a pole with a rope and a pair of snips on the end,
A TO 30 Ferguson tractor with a little red trailer I pull around,

I’m always amazed at the power of the 220. What a beast
Next Project Let’s Go🤙🔥🇺🇸🇺🇸
Really pretty pond.
When I'm tired, the sound of the machine, especially the excavator, puts me to sleep. Which I guess is a good thing, because I have to watch again, and you get another view. 😂
I believe I remember a video you made about this pond. That cliff at the overflow looks familiar.
I like these kind of jobs Chris, Pretty cool to see ya take a mess like this one and fine tune it, back into shape !! Got a pretty good start Man !1 Great as Always !! Have a Great Evening, And On too the Next !!
Wish you guys would wear eye protection when you're using that hydraulic press. If the hose blows or something explodes, you'll wish you did❤
I'm glad you are doing something you are definitely a pro. At. Other than the brush that looks like a good little project to do with the 220.
What does he do that he’s not a pro at?

It's good to see you re-using the expensive pipe.
The pond whisperer back in his element.
To worry about it, cut it down, put a repair band on it. So what we do when we screw up drainage pipe appear in Maine.
Enjoyed it I feel like I learned watching
good pond dam video
❤ the video! Talk about variety. Very entertaining.
Nice video Chris.
The foundry I left in Indiana used to make those bushings by the thousands and many sizes for a company called Neway in Dayton Ohio and I'm sure they shipped them all over the US and we also made the same ones for after market
Wow more video's 👍
Great video.
Good job mate love your work
The tire's on that man's service truck, were like racing slicks!!!
Haha you should have seen what they looked like before he put those on
it is good to show the other work that goes into your operation that people do not realize has to happen (Barney repair) to keep things going, thanks
Don't lose Jeremiah. He's a good one. Could sure use someone like him around here.
So...I'm in Rome, Italy, vacationing with my wife!..........watching Letsdig18 at 5am.....just sayin!
Whoever did the initial job did it very badly IMHO. Glad you're there to fix the problems.
It's so funny to watch Chris calls for mechanic to do the job and get it done right and then Chris tells the mechanic. How to do the job? That's what makes Chris so good. What he does, he's good at everything.
Yes you a lot of work Peace out
Good job coming. Couldn't take the scammers today and I don't know why.

Looks like the job you and Kyle looked at a while back. I think you were checking the dam height to make sure it wasn’t too high.
Looks great!!
