Every western nation makes bipartisan political agreements - America is hardly unique or special or exceptional in doing so. The only remarkable thing at the moment is that your Republicans are maliciously attacking any and every attempt to reach agreement with their opponents. What I was referring to is the size of the U.S. against our larger adversaries being able to come together as a nation our size. Sorry I wasn't very clear the first time. Also in today's world our western allies are important to the U.S. and we need them and should defend them.
To be fair, any Democrat voting against the recall would not really be voting for Johnson; they would be voting for order and stability, which is at least something worth keeping. As bad as Johnson is, the alternatives include Jordan, Comer, or an extended interregnum with no Speaker at all, any of which are probably worse.
When ever I hear the words , a vote of no confidence’ I alway think of Star Wars and the part in one of the movies where the bad guy got into power after a , vote of no confidence, was brought against the good guy …
