- Bulletstorm VR was not received well, but after patch 1.3 it seems to be fixed, so in this video I am going to explain my thoughts about where this title succeeded and came up short, and hopefully help you make the right decision about buying it or not.

I enjoyed the experience this title offered, and I wanted to do what I could to ensure that other people don't miss out on it.
It isn't perfect, but few things are. I hope more game developers will be inspired to convert their games to VR, because honestly it is such a cool way to experience a game like this.
They missed my window for full price as much as i want to support them, but i will def pick up on sale now.

Great video. I'm pretty sure I will buy this at some point. But I hope the devs can listen to your suggestions for what might make improvements to some aspects of the game. They might not be able to address every point, but it definitely sounds like there's a few things that could be tweaked to make this even cooler.

I like it for what it is already, but there is definitely room for improvement.
When this came out, I actually quite enjoyed playing it through, it wasn't perfect... but I still enjoyed it.
But I just don't want to play it through again, maybe in a couple years, but probably not.

Yeah, I hate to think that many of the people who would really enjoy it, might have been turned off by it's poor launch.

bulletstorm VR has improved but the graphics have still taken a massive step back, The full clip edition was already a downgrade from the xbox 360 version in terms if looks, the only upside was higher res textures, the VR version for me is still graphically looking more like a quest title than a PCVR ready game
@@MysticWorldsStudios I don't play flat games. I understand that this is an old title and I hope that anyone playing this in VR is aware of that as well.
Nice to hear that Left hand mode is being added at some point. I can stomach VR jank but not taking left-handed people into account is such a dumb oversight. Should have been one of the first things they fixed, I own the game and cant even play it properly. 😅
@@jankmedia1985 yeah, honestly every game needs a left hand mode.
@ObserVR-gamer shortly after I posted my comment it dawned on me that I can force a left hand mode by swapping buttons in the PS5 accessibility settings. Now that I can finally play the game I'm really enjoying it. Muuuuuuch better than it's launch state. The team has done a good job with fixing the game.

I wish i could have gotten through the game at launch because i love the flat screen version, but it was soooooo bad. Im glad they've made improvements but i think ill hold off and hope for another big patch.

I think my expectations were low from all of the complaints I heard about it at launch.
It definitely isn't the best game in VR, but I had fun with it.
I think they can still make some improvements, but I wasn't disappointed with the experience.
I think I'll pick it up on sale after a couple more updates

I totally get it. I enjoyed it, but the game, but is far from perfect. It is short and easy, and an old 2011 game. Definitely not for everyone.
