Your crazy if you had an 8 month old in that car seat. Absolutely horrible parenting!
I found this car seat for half price in black friday deals, and I just bought bcz of very tight budget. When my hubby was installing, it looked so cheap to me tbh. Then I wanted to have a look at the reviews online. Omg everyone loves this carseat :) So my view began to change in positive direction too. My 18 month toddler has been using it for only 3 days as of now, so far she is also quite happy.
I agree with you i got one for my daughter from her grandfather im a fan of evenflo brands my son who is now 17yrs old had a evenflo stroller and it stood the test he weighed 9.5lbs at birth, back to this carseat, the puddings aren't padded enough as for the headrest it needed more padding, this carseat can't recline, so going on a long journey the child is gonna be uncomfortable 😫 the child will need a neck pillow for support when they fall asleep. I wouldn't recommend.

Y’all I just bought this car seat today. Baby boy just turned 1 yesterday and it was time to get out the infant seat. It was on sale for $59 at Walmart!

Does the headrest move up at all? My 2 year olds head comes almost to the very top of the seat 🤦🏻♀️

But how wide is it? I need 3 carseats 17 inches or smaller to fit in the backseat of my car
Just measured it for you. I got 18 1/2 inches. This is measuring from one end of the cup holder to the other end of the other cup holder. Without the cup holders, you could probably get it to about 17 1/2 inches wide. Hope that helps

Yes you can I just got one for my daughter and I took it of and handwash it if your gonna use it in the machine u probably need to put the machine on the gentle cycle
Does this car seat damage leather seats?
No damage on ours, but we put a towel underneath it first as a barrier.
yes it does, puts a dent in it in the shape of the bottom of the booster seat. it has a very sharp bottom, not the best explanation but in short, yes. it will. put towel down to avoid more severe denting
