Thank you so much. Your cookbook has changed my life and allowed veganism to be a permanent lifestyle. I'm.never hungry, and I am satisfied and excited to create meals.
Your recipes are magic! Thank you for helping me fall in love with eating vegan. I always feel joyful after watching your videos and everybody loves all your recipes that I make. Thank you for sharing your talent and light with the rest of us!
I followed your video, making everything except the tempe (bacause I didn't have any). The aromas, the color, the flavor! The rice was so buttery-like in the Instapot. I substituted harissa for the tomatoes, and red cabbage for the roasted cauliflower (so yummy). Everything else was close to what you did. Delicious ALL!
I've made the tagine twice already and I can't recommend it enough! It is so different (in a good way!!) from other recipes and tastes so unique. A must try!!!
Hi, I just found your show. I’ve been vegetarian on and off for years and I’m trying to go back vegan. And you make it seem easy and fun. Thanks for sharing. I’m definitely going to buy your cookbook. Please keep sharing🙂
Your videos are very wholesome, and by the way that's a good thing! Thank for the recipes. I meal prep steel cut oatmeal every week, but I need to meal prep veggies and grains more often too (to make my life a little easier). Stay safe and God Bless You and yours.
@@SweetPotatoSoul I use 1cup of steel cut oats, place in a pot of 4 cups of boiling water with a couple pinches of salt. Let it cook about 20 or 25 minutes, then I add 2TBS of chia seeds and 1TBS of flaxseed, with 1/3 almond milk let it cook low for another 3 or 4 mins. I let the oatmeal cool, for a few minutes and it makes 6 servings. Once it has cooled enough, I place lids on the 6 containers and refrigerate. The oatmeal reheats beautifully. I place in a ceramic bowl, add a little almond milk a TBS of water and microwave 1min and 20 seconds. I add peanut butter and 1/2 of sliced banana. Sometimes I drizzle a tsp of warm honey on the bananas( cinnamon and nutmeg optional). So delicious. Enjoy. 💕
OMG! I love your videos and I just watched a bunch of them before you got married. Then I went through several others. You guys are so cute and loving. I have decided to go vegan and your videos are on my favorite playlist. I look forward to going through your cookbook and trying your recipes. Oh! And I love sweet potatoes too.
Your hair/glasses/outfit look is so cute! Btw, how about trying to come up with a recipe for DIY sweet potato flatbread bases? That would actually be great for meal prep bc you could keep them in the freezer
OMG YUUUMMM😍 I absolutely love these ideas! Everything looks so easy and so so good. I was just thinking about how I need to start meal prepping because I've been pretty lazy about making dinner, and eating way too much take out 🤦🏻♀️ lol. Thanks for making it so easy for me 😊. This makes me look forward to meal prepping 💯
Happy to have discovered your channel. Please share what brand cookware you used on the stove top. It looks like ceramic. I recently purchased a ceramic coated pot, but everything sticks to it. Not wanting to use more oil, I’m searching for a better pan
Is that a cast iron baking sheet?? 👀 This looks so yummy. What types of pans/pots/bakeware do you recommend? I bought stainless steel recently... but I'm curious as to all you use.
I can't believe you did all of this in an hour. I am so slow in the kitchen it would probably take me almost that time to chop up everything haha. Also where did you get the pots you used to cook the quinoa and tagine? I like them!
Hi @sweetpotatosoul, I have a question about Tempeh. I have a vegan lifestyle since a couple of years and recently started eating tempeh. I don't eat regular soy. so my question i how long can i safe tempeh after de best before date... can i smell it to see if it's still good or should i just trow it away?
If it's unopened in the package it will last quite a long time, although I can't say exactly how long. You could always freeze it. Once you open it, cook it up and store in an airtight container, and it will last a several days. If it starts to smell funky, throw it out. Also, sometimes it will have dark spots that make you think it's going bad, but that's just part of the fermentation. If it really turns you off, just cut it off.
I made the tagine and served it with quinoa but unfortunately it wasn't as tasty as I expected it to be. I've been a subscriber for a while (I love your videos, btw) but this was my first time trying one of your recipes. I really wanted to love it but it was just meh. I followed the instructions to the T and only made 2 slight modifications... I used 1 tbsp of fresh turmeric (grated/minced) instead of ground turmeric and I used russet potatoes instead of yukon gold. I can't put my finger on what was missing to make this dish appealing but something was definitely lacking. Or maybe the mixture of spices was too overpowering which I find it weird because I'm used to cooking a lot of Indian food which is always packed with robust flavors. 🤷
You should try more of her recipes, they are so good! Especially the ones in the cookbook. And I definitely recommend the gold potatoes. They're the best! If you want more meal prep ideas, I've got some on my channel too!
Chard, spinach, cabbage. Where do you live? Kale is very easy to grow, especially in cool climates. I live in Colorado and I planted kale in my yard one year and now it grows back on its own every year!
Thank you for the video! I’m 19 years old and learning how to become a full time vegan. I appreciate your videos, they are helping me so much!
That maple mustard marinade is a must! Compliments tempeh so well.
Thanks!!! Glad you love it too :)
hope everyone's having a good day
Hope you are too!
@@SweetPotatoSoul is it necessary to wash the papaya before cutting? i forgot to wash before eating and now i'm worried.

This looks soooo good!
Watching while eating baked sweet potatoes 🍠 and cauliflower soup
I love the large braiser pot Le Cruset. What specific pot name do you have? Is it the Briaser or everything pot
Thank you. 😊

Thanks!! Oh totally, this can be made oil-free :)

How can we not be hungry after a video like this? 😂😂
Right??? 😋
Oh yeah!!!
Napkin shirt 😂 love it!
😅
So your tempeh was your protein; I can’t eat soy products, any suggestions? I love all your meals - I even own your cookbook!
Definitely will checkout daily harvest! The grocery store selection is becoming mundane.
So good looking, I'm gonna have to try this.
Haha I have a "bad" habit in snacking a lot before/during meal prepping 😂 I'll give them a try. Thanks for sharing 💛
Haha! Yeah, same here. I have to have a full meal before, or at least snack on something else to guarantee food at the end 😆
Vegan food pleases my eyes.
Hello, love your cookware set mau iask where you got them

If you have a food processor use it to do all of your chopping. Chop chop!!
Those pots are both from Le Creuset :)
Another AweSome video❣
Love you, Sweet Darlin' but any company that will not give info, before it grabs my info, is a dealbreaker 😔
YUM!
No matter the grain i HAVE to wash it first before cooking
"My napkin shirt on" lol she's so funny!
Yum!
Is there a good alternative to qunioa that has a similar nutrition profile? I get massive stomach aches whenever I eat quinoa
is it necessary to wash the papaya before cutting? i forgot to wash before eating and now i'm worried.
your pots are so cute! i wonder if she’s ever said where she got them from
they are le creuset! i have a dutch oven in that same color
Yes, Le Creuset!

Where can I buy the tempeh please
How do can I make myself like vegetables 😭 these dishes honestly look so good though
Thank you for great video, how long did it take you to loose weight? At what weight you began? At what weight are you currently. You look gorgeous.
Thanks! I never lost weight. I actually gained when I became vegan because it helped me get to my healthy weight.
I need help 😩 I can’t seem to eat healthy. I’ll try this.
Yes, try a meal plan and stick to it. What throws you off? Cravings?
