The 32-year-old has six kids, one of them is Amari, who was diagnosed with autism last year.
"I switched to afternoons to go around all my children’s schedules, so for this to happen, this is devastating," Bell said.
Bell says her 5-year-old son Amari gets picked up and dropped off from school every day, but the problem is the bus is never on time. According to Bell, the school bus on average is late 30 minutes per day. But it became a huge problem when the bus arrived an hour and 15 minutes late.

Sorry but not sorry. I am a bus driver and the shortage is real. Being a bus driver isn't easy. It's not just driving around. It's not our fault there is a shortage on drivers, we don't control traffic or when we have bus issues that do happen. Bus runs are double up. Kids will get home later then usual. It is what it is. If the parent doesn't like it then drive your own child to school. Hire a babysitter who can drive them. Doing something other then complaining. Better yet apply to be a bus driver and your problem is sloved....oh and you can take other people's kids as well and then you can deal with such parent nonsense stuff.
Why is the bus arriving at 6:00 in the evening. Apparently the backup and substitute driver aren't trained properly.

I’m a bus driver in CA, its not as easy as it looks, tons of stuff we have to deal with and rates are not ideal which increases lack of motivation
Bud drivers well MOST don’t care about the kids seems like if one has a loud voice they kick them off the bus for the rest of the year. I don’t want to pay tax on school busses that don’t care. Can’t handle it then it’s not for you. Move on bud. All in my opinion.🇺🇸

@@darkpisces8125 exactly. Whenever the bus was 30 or more minutes late mom would drive us to school or she would come pick us up. Most of the time they called us if the bus was late.

I'm not trying to be a jerk jerk but if they're short on people then why don't you make arrangements with friends or family there's always a way if you put a little effort into it

His route most likely doesn't have a driver assigned to it. Also, I'm surprised they don't have the bus tracking app. Th district I drove for a few years back had parents tracking 'em off some app.
Actually a friend of mine was on one of the buses at our old middle school. They had a driver and a driver’s assistant, and it still never showed up on time once in the morning the entire year. The driver had to do three morning runs instead of the usual two, because some routes didn’t have a driver and that same driver ended up having to do that extra run everyday in the morning. The bus was always anywhere from 10 to 100 minutes late in the morning, and the schools are still having bus problems 6 years later.

A certain side of the political aisle is saying that we don’t have enough people in this country and we need to be concerned about the birth rate being too low, so everybody needs to have more children. I’m not sure if you’re aligned with that party or not.

if School bus Transportation Alex, INC. Existed, they would've gotten calls, and these busses would've sent Blue Bird Gasoline Visions with Godzilla V8s that have black window posts, and Air Conditioning.
My district uses S.M.A.R.T. TAG, one of its features is it allows the parents and students to get a text when the bus is coming. Tracks student ridership, can run navigation on the route if a sub is driving, makes seating charts, ect. It does many other things as well that really makes it soo much easier.
How much did this cost?

Stop complaining.... Says this Working mom who took her son to school in the morning and then picked him up afterwork. Made him attend after school just so I could make this happen. Woke up extra early too. Hey parents it's yourrrrr job!!!! I agree it's not as easy as it looks. Poor drivers!!!! Traffic in NY is shyt!!!
