Yeah, the concept of bringing them together seemed so outlandish and crazy, a lot of experts were saying this movie will bomb hard at the box office... and then it went and became the at the time 3rd highest grossing movie of all time, behind Avatar and Titanic.
And in the scene at 15:12 where he is suddenly talking to someone who appears to be on another planet, that is actually him projecting his mind with the power of the staff which they gave him.
Wrong. He projects illusions. Loki is historically known as the god of mischief. He can’t teleport. He can project his form which is what he did in Thor and in the avengers.
Tom Hiddleston actually auditioned to be Thor and was rejected. Instead, he was cast as Loki and did a masterful job with that role! You'll love him, you'll hate him, he'll drive you crazy. You'll see much more depth to his character in future films and the Loki series. It's far down the line, but when you get to it, the 2 season Loki series is a must see!
Also Liam Hemsworth was in the running to be cast as Thor. Then someone in production said, doesn't he have a brother? Chris actually got the news he was cast as Thor during the filming of A Cabin in the Woods, a Joss Whedon production. Due to production delays, Cabin in the Woods came out a year after Thor and a month before Avengers which Whedon directed.
Jeremy Renner, who played Barton was clearing out snow on his property and the snow plow got loose, he tried to stop it but got caught by it and was pulled under it and it crushed his chest. It was during an extreme snow buildup in the Reno, Lake Tahoe area. They had to airlift him out, the roads were all closed. He broke several bones and when they got him to the hospital, he had to go through many surgeries. Thankfully he has healed from that. It was truly a miracle that he was not killed by it. By the way, that actor is also an Academy Award winner for a film called the Hurt Locker

The villain that they teased in the credit scene was an Easter Egg for the comic nerds, because we all recognized him instantly. Like all credit scene teases, you'll meet him eventually.

Notice how in iron man 2, his suit didn’t do well with Vanko’s electrical whips. But here they harness Thor’s lightning. Tony learns from his mistakes.
As you watch these movies, you will see the evolution of these characters. But, the BEST three in (my opinion) are : * Tony Stark - Iron Man * LOKI * Steve Rogers - Captain America Hopefully, you'll see what I'm talking about MUCH, MUCH LATER down the MCU chain. Either in the movies or in the Disney Plus Shows. 😉🙂
took me a number of viewings to realize the whole Iron Man/Thor/Captain America fight happened because of the presence of Loki's scepter. (Since that feature was shown later in the film and wasn't visible in the scene, but was I presume still there but cloaked.
The line about courting death with the smile is a reference to the comics. In the comics the character is in love with Lady Death the incarnation of death in the Marvel universes.
9:30 What I read is that Ed Norton tried to change just enough of Banners dialogue to be credited as one of the “writers” of the script, and thus, he would also have to be paid as a “writer” of the movie. Marvel basically said “no, you can’t do that”- and Ed Norton quit the movie, vowing never to work with Marvel again. Mark Ruffalo apparently is less greedy, and better behaved 😂
If you ever want to see the actual Marvel stunt crew, they're on a TH-cam channel called (corridor crew: stuntmen react). They show behind the scenes and break down all of their Marvel stunts... and how much the actors participated.
"That's the guy my dad never shut up about? I wonder if they shouldn't have left him on ice." One of my favorite character bits in the Infinity Saga is the "sibling rivalry" between Steve Rogers and Tony Stark. They never spell it out directly-it's all in the subtext and little asides. Howard Stark idolized Cpt. America, and Tony grew up hearing his father go on and on about him. Steve is like the perfect (dead) older brother that Tony could never measure up to. As a result, when they meet Tony *really* doesn't like him. :D
Howard was so much like Tony that it bummed him out a little. Tony figured that out himself that he's the same genius but also has his fathers same flaws. (Which makes Marvel special). Their characters may possess godlike abilities, but they all are pretty much mortal men and women. Save perhaps Cap. (he has tiny little flaws if you pay attention going forward)

Robert Downey Jr. had a habit of hiding snacks around the set and pulling them out during scenes. When Iron Man/Tony Stark offered a blueberry to Captain America/Steve Rogers, that was RDJ offering Chris Evans a blueberry while they were working.
Coulson is a great character. Yes, he dies but in order to know the rest of that story, you need to watch Marvel's Agents of Shield. Do not attempt to watch it until after Avenger's Civil War to avoid any spoilers.
You have no idea how big of a experience this was in the movie theater when it originally came. A comicbook team-up movie that worked and made over a billion dollars. The fact they got away with Loki calling Natasha a "muling quim" in the dialog still impresses me.

Great reaction! I love the MCU. one of the fun things they do is sprinkle in little bits of information that seems useless at the time, but upon re-watch, it shows that they had a plan the whole time. If you watch Ironman 2 again, the scene were Tony is going through Howard's journal, there is a picture of a cube within a cube. That is, in real life, the scientific drawing of what they call a Tesseract. It is a 2-dimensional representation of a 3 dimensional shadow of a cube in the 4th dimension.

Out of these 6 characters Iron Man is my favourite, followed by The Hulk (as i grew up watching The Incredible Hulk series in the late 70’s, well worth a watch). I do have comics (sealed in bags) of all the characters including Nick Fury and The Avengers from the 70’s and 80’s
Not sure if this is confirmed, but Ive always heard that the old man who stands up to Loki in Germany is a Holocaust survivor, hence why he said "There are always men like you"
45:56 and 57:32 appearances by ashley johnson, one of the best voice actresses to date (Ellie in the last of us (also did the mo-cap), Gwen Tennyson (Alien force onwards), pike from Vox Machina, jinmay from srmthg, terra from teen titans, gretchen from recess, tulip in infinity train and god knows how many other things)
Agents of SHIELD, the first season, might be worth checking out after this, it aligns in the timeline here and with Winter Soldier. It provides a little insight into events between here and there. In fact, the show release dates aligned, almost to the day, in April of 2014 so they’d feed each other. And I’ll just say, Fury couldn’t handle Coulson’s death…
The waitress in the news interview at the end is Ashley Johnson from Critical Role, Growing Pains, Blindspot, Last of Us (game and TV) and other TV, movies and games. I didn't realize until now she was on two episodes of Dollhouse and in Much Ado About Nothing, both Whedon projects. One of his several casting of people he has worked with, friends or friends of friends. Cobie Smulder (Agent Hill, worked with Alexis's wife), Alexis Denisof (Thanos gobetween - creepy finger guy), and Enver Gjokai (cop). Jeremy Renner was also on Angel but think his work on Hurt Locker got him the Hawkeye role.
Phase 1 of END GAME. 😂😂😂 I’m feel so happy n grateful in part of Marvel movies journeys in cinema. It was different kind of movie experience and watch with those members/friends who is enjoyed. I remember watching a midnight show start from 12.30am, it was a great night. Me n friend still go for suppers and have further discussions about movie. It was a good memories make me remind after watching yr guys video😂😂😂 Just be lucky T&K able to watch anytime, When back on the day, we have wait a long time to have next Avengers movie. ❤❤ from Malaysia. (Forgive my broken english)
If you want to see more Phil Coulson he is in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which is currently on Disney Plus. It ran for at least six seasons. While it does not directly impact the MCU it has storylines that draw from events in the MCU. The Bifrost a.k.a. the Rainbow Bridge connects the nine realms of Norse Mythology via Ygdrassil the World Tree. The nine realms consist of Asgard, Midgard (Humans), Jotunheim (Frost Giants), Alfheim (Light Elves), Svartalfheim (Dwarves), Vanaheim, Niffleheim a.k.a. Nidavellir, Muspelheim (Fire Demons) and Hel or Helheim. Ed Norton who played Bruce Banner in the previous Hulk film had differences of opinion with Marvel Studios as to where the franchise should go. Marvel wanted a team player so they recast the role and Mark Ruffalo passed the audition. That's the gist of it in a nutshell. The Avengers team consists of: Tony Stark /Iron Man, Steve Rogers /Captain America, Bruce Banner/ The Hulk, Thor Odinson /Thor, Clint Barton /Hawkeye and Natasha Romanoff /Black Widow. 😊 Captain America's shield is made of Vibranium which is not a naturally occurring element on this planet. It can absorb virtually any type of kinetic energy and either deflect it or redirect it depending on the angle of the incoming energy. It is extremely durable but not completely indestructible. In the comics it has been damaged or even destroyed by powerful enough foes. 😮
hi there! I'm a subscriber from TK Top Tunes as well...haha I'm a Morissette fan...👍 It's good that you're also reacting to movies now. You should also watch Agents of Shield - also a part of the Marvel story. Colson, the guy who died in this movie, is the lead actor there. He got resurrected/or something. 😂
The fact that they mentioned Life Model Decoys(LMD'S) is proud that they want to include the most minute detail into the MCU. LMD's have been around since the 60's, mostly used by S.H.I.E.L.D. In the comics, Black Widow was a Russian shot sent to kill a Russian defector. She seduced Hawkeye, who wad working in a circus ad a trick shot expert. Once her mission failed(thanks to Iron Man), she too defected with the help of S.H.I.E.L.D.
For those who don't know, a Life Model Decoy is basically a robot designed to look exactly like a certain person. Nick Fury used them often. Sometimes you would think a major character would die, but nope! It was just a robotic duplicate taking their place. Way back in the early 70's I even remember a Batman comic (DC) where Bruce Wayne did a similar thing and had a robot duplicate Batman so he could be seen at the same time and "prove" he wasn't the same person.

Favorite line from this movie.... "I recognize that the council has made a decision, but seeing as how it's a stupid-ass decision, I have elected to ignore it." If you guys havn't seen them watch the "Marvel One Shot's"
Yeah, the MCU just didn't know how to scale the characters abilities and is very inconsistent with the characters abilities. Mjolnir in the comics can destroy planets and stars like nothing….In Thor 1, he created a tornado with Mjolnir, just like he can in the comics, but here he didn't and mostly only used lightning. Natasha seems to be enhanced, but it's poorly told to the viewers; she took a slap from Hulk, and if you know what other durability feats she has in her own film,. Iron Man shouldn't have been able to keep up with Thor as much as he did, especially with this armor, but yeah, they always did wrong to the strongest characters.
You’re just the MOST lovely people. Adore your reactions bc you’re both so kind, positive & open to everything. The joy u get is apparent & contagious. I always feel better after a reaction🖖
Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir is basically pronounced: Mule-near. (It’s *almost* like saying me-yule mushed together…but don’t worry ab that) It sounds enough like: a mule that is near. Mule near. Lol
36:12 I saw a US fighter jet pilot react to this scene & say basically why tf is that pilot of the F22 or F35 (I think? Idk) so close? He could be firing those rounds pretty accurately easily from like a mile away. Just think that’s funny, Irl, even w hulks super jump, he wouldn’t be able to jump to an attacking fighter jet, they stay well out of his attack range (that’s from the US at least)

Wow you have the comics from the 70s and 80s?! That is SO COOL!!!!
Not sure if this is confirmed, but Ive always heard that the old man who stands up to Loki in Germany is a Holocaust survivor, hence why he said "There are always men like you"
I don't think so. He is actor Kenneth Tigar. He's been in tons of stuff.
@@rikkiwear853 i meant the character..
@@Bayleaf6399 oh, then yeah I agree.
Shawarma restaurants saw a huge increase in business because of RDJ's ad lib 😂
Hahahah! Love to hear that!!!
If you have any questions none of these movies are new ideas. All of these
Characters are in the comic books. Black Widow past is there.
It was so epic in the theater in 2012.
I hope it was SO amazing in theaters!!!!
Crime drama... the British show Broadchurch is amazing.
We will pass that along! Thank you so much!!!
8:09 Tye: She’s in some trouble.
Natasha: 😏😏😏
45:56 and 57:32 appearances by ashley johnson, one of the best voice actresses to date (Ellie in the last of us (also did the mo-cap), Gwen Tennyson (Alien force onwards), pike from Vox Machina, jinmay from srmthg, terra from teen titans, gretchen from recess, tulip in infinity train and god knows how many other things)
Oh wow that's really so awesome she was included in this film!!
Never forget go thru the credits .. About half way thru you get scenes from the upcoming movie...
Hawkeye was an Olympic gold medalist in archery he was a circus trick archer when he decided to take up a life of crime, until cap changed his mind
This isnt canon in the mcu.
@@elliott2501either way great to see some Hawkeye appreciation for new viewers.
Woahhhhhh that's cool!!!
Great reaction guys this is so fun watching these movies again with you two. I’m so glad you guys are loving this. It just gets better from here. ❤😊
Thank you so much for watching with us!!! (:
I grew up on the comics long before seeing the movies. When I first saw "Thor", I said "Hawkeye! Hell yeah!"
Banner, "Im always angry" Me, "Same"
Imagine investing in these solo movies then finally seeing this one in the theater back in 2012... Yes i still remember that feeling...
That is so awesome!!!
I’ve been a casual viewer for a while as I don’t subscribe to just any old channel. But … today …. You forced my hand 😂😂😂 SUBSCRIBED!!!
WOOHOO! So happy to hear that! Thank you for being here :)
I always love The Avengers movies
SO good!!!
The security guard who asked Banner if he was an alien was in the movie Alien.
OH! Hahahah that's awesome!
Great reaction and energy again you two. These movies actually just keep getting better and better. I'm glad you're enjoying them so much.
You're the best, Denny!! This movie was so epic! We are pumped for more!!
Loki is working with Thanos to eliminate The Avengers before his arrival on our Planet.
I've never saw your channel before, but i like the energy, I'm probably gonna be following you guys for awhile
Thank you so much!!

(Forgive my broken english)
Thanks for watching all the way from Malaysia!!! (: So happy to hear you enjoyed these movies in the theaters! So cool!!!
When I was in 8th grade, this movie was the hype
Captain America's shield is made of Vibranium which is not a naturally occurring element on this planet. It can absorb virtually any type of kinetic energy and either deflect it or redirect it depending on the angle of the incoming energy. It is extremely durable but not completely indestructible. In the comics it has been damaged or even destroyed by powerful enough foes. 😮
Well the MCU did directly impact Agents of SHIELD at first. The events of Winter Soldier was a HUGE turning point for the show.
Yeah, it's worth noting that if you are starting to watch Agents of SHIELD, to at least get to Winter Soldier with the movies to avoid spoilers.
LOVE these extra bits of information! Thank you so much Roy!!!
I love Tony's humor🤣🤣
He's so sarcastic lol!

20:40 kindly disregard Cap’s suit in this movie 😂
Agent hill, is possibly the newest creation by marvel comics unless its coulsen
Please react to all the Twilight Saga movies, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
As comments wouldve already told u, the purple guy at end wasn't really planned to be there!
hi there! I'm a subscriber from TK Top Tunes as well...haha
I'm a Morissette fan...👍
It's good that you're also reacting to movies now.
33:45 thats actually mk6 from the end of ironman 2 w the triangular arc
mk1 the scrap one from cave
mk2 silver prototype
mk3 first official version at later half of 1st movie vs iron monger (Obadiah)
mk4 when he first appear in 2nd movie for stark expo
mk5 the suitcase one during F1 scene vs whiplash
and now the new mk7 in this movie when tony jump out the window
The silver prototype becomes the War Machine armor that Rhodes wears.
Ohhhh wow! Love all of the different suits! Thanks for sharing that with us!!
Fun fact: a couple scenes in this movie were filmed in Cleveland, Ohio. I have a friend who’s in the background of one scene.
Oh wow really?! That's really awesome to hear!
Level 7 agents of shield!! 🤫
The ordered the jet to distract the Hulk and get him off the ship before he destroys them all.
Favorite line from this movie.... "I recognize that the council has made a decision, but seeing as how it's a stupid-ass decision, I have elected to ignore it."
If you guys havn't seen them watch the "Marvel One Shot's"
7:40 A good landing is one you csn walk away from. A great landing is one after which they can use the aircraft again. Hawkeye makes a good landing.
Loki used to scepter to communicate telepathically with the other and when I mean the other I mean the guy with the two thumbs name is the Other.
Mjolnir is way more powerful in the comics it might be the most powerful artifact in marvel, this is like 1% power level for the hammer
This really made us smile (: Thank you very very much for your kind words, Dee
Agent Coulson is the main character of agents of shield
Loki is awesome.
It's no wonder he's been in many MCU films and his own TV Series.
Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir is basically pronounced: Mule-near. (It’s *almost* like saying me-yule mushed together…but don’t worry ab that) It sounds enough like: a mule that is near. Mule near. Lol
Uhm .... mew mew hahaha
I remember I saw Thanos mad titan in the end credit scene it was awesome the hold movie theater was so hype in awesome
