18 year old Alyn works as a street barber with her brother, who is also a barber, in the historic center of Mexico City. They both share a tent, in front of San Juan Market (Mercado San Juan) with two barber chairs.
Alyn told me she has been a barber for a year, which means she started at 17 years old.
Cost for haircut: 40 Mexican Pesos ($2 USD)
Shave: 30 Mexican Pesos ($1.50)

10 bucks wow !! She's so good I'd pay 20 bucks plus tip 😉 I use to pay 25-40 for the same service but I do my own cuts but not slick enough with the cut throat to do around my neck so Mach 3 does okay job . She has some skills for only a year in the field best of luck to her .
Over paying or over tipping is counter productive and destructive, especially to the receiver. Tipping in general is counter productive.
Pay the asking price, That is the price. The price is not the asking price plus more.

Think of a waitress as tips are her only way she gets paid so if guys like you don't tip her she can't make ends . $10 bucks is pretty cheap in all but if you feel it's too much for you don't give extra .

Alyn is such a natural, every move showed skill and confidence. Particularly like the clean up of the forehead hairline, which is something I have never had Have straight hair like you and comb it back. Mexico City is gritty (raw) which I like. Yes, I know about their wealthy zones, rivaling Beverly Hills. Keep them coming, Jason.
