- With over 30 years of experience, this barbershop is run by the sweet and fun female barber Mary.

I walked the huge central market of Mercado San Benito, eating ice cream, drinking fresh juices, until I found this small cute barbershop. The pink walls are full of pictures of Maryln Monroe, Jesus, and various male model hairstyles.
She smiled to big and welcomed me so happily to sit in her barber chair.
I sat down and asked her for just a shave, but to keep my Mexican mustache. She agreed. She pulled out the straight razor, loaded up the shavette, and gave me one of the closest shaves I have had since I was in Oaxaca. She lathered my face up with so much lotions and creme.
Once the shave was don't, she offered to shape up my haircut, which I agreed to. She use the clippers/shaver to buzz my sides and style the top.
This was an absolutely fun experience to vlog.

She about forgot to change to a new blade, but after about three swipes she changed it ! She seemed to be very much a perfectionist on the shave !

Heebie-Jeebies!!! This one kept me moving on the couch!! This was like watching the Jason Bourne series.... The Rupp, Identity. Boy was she was fast and furious! And I love how she recycles. She dries her face, and with the same tissue, cleans and "oils" (LOL) the scissors and then cuts your mustache... We should all learn to save by recycling as well as she does... You are definitely my new "heroe." Everything said, she did do a great and perfectionist job! I wanna get this experience too!

@@jameshowlett414 Yep, it was nerve racking for me too. I thought for sure she would cut him terribly but she did a good job and he only had one little tiny blood spot (hardly noticeable) underneath his lip.
She was very good in her job and she’s very sweet
IMHO, that looks like a very thorough quality shave. Almost makes me want to fly there and get a shave from her. Thanks Jason.

Interesting to see her holding the shavette by the blade part rather than the handle.. good skin stretch though helps to avoid cuts despite her harsh technique
i thought i was the only one that saw that , u have to be gentle with your customers some people have soft skin that be cut easily

@@watch1ngy0utub3 Those blades shouldn't even be sold. If a blade can't do a full shave...what is it made of? I can get disposable razors from the supermarket for 10 cents a piece...and they can do a full shave with no problem. Whenever I see a barber use 4 or 5 blades I'm getting worried. One for the shave and one for cleaning up? Sure...but not like this.

Hi! Did the blade hurt when the lotion was long gone? Any razor burn later? She made sure she didn't miss a single hair. Closest shave you will probably ever have.
