A few suggestions 1.Dont put back the screws until you check that the ram works (if your ram does not work you will have to put the old ram stick back ) 2.Your processor didn't support the Samsung ram stick (Check the speed you CPU can read RAM) but overall good video !

good question. Please check your task manager, then open performance tab. Then select "memory." this will tell you available slots for your ram, your current ram speed, and what type of ram you have. After than open cmd as admin then type "wmic memphysical get maxcapacity" this will give you the max ram your computer can handle in kilobytes. Convert the value to gigabytes. The purpose of this is to make sure to see if your computer can handle 16gb of ram.

Yes. 4gb ram soldered. 8gb stick. Yup only 2400 mhz speed. It helps when I have a lot of windows open. Cpu is one of the major factors for performance. It depends also if you are trying to game. Im not much of a gamer. Just basic editing, surfing, illustrator photoshop for work

The ram will only run the max speed of the soldered ram. Even If I put a faster speed ram for the removable ram slot, the soldered ram will make the speed match. Good luck, I hope this helps.

This computer came with a 5400 rpm hard drive. All I had to do was add the nvme ssd. Most lenovos come with the hdd cable though depending on where you got your laptop

Oh interesting yours probably came with the faster m2 ssd. For the ram you can open cmd as admin > type wmic memphysical get maxcapacity > convert the amount from kb to gigabytes ( this will show max ram capacity)
Not that I know off. I could be wrong but I think the main reason is that the built in ram 4gb in the motherboard is 2400 mhz so no matter what stick you put in it run at 2400mhz. Definitely feel free to chexk the bios too. You might find something I missed.
highly recommended to avoid shorting other components if accidentally touched. Especially if you're not grounded, there's a chance something might get shorted.
@@hirokenju5053 Depends on Manufacturer. You can adjust the amount of memory you can allocate to the GPU from within the BIOS. I think it says Advanced or Chipset Area in the BIOS or Shared Memory. Depends on the Brand too not all pcs will let you do that. Also just be careful, it can cause system instability.

its the AMD APU, if you have 4gb of rams, your laptop will give 512mb for VRAM (3,5 usable RAM), but if you have 8gb or more, your laptop will give 2gb for VRAM. Sorry for my bad english

A lot of laptops come with windows 10 s mode. You can get out of windows 10 s mode pretty easily and switch it to home edition. You can run netflix on S mode. I'm not sure about Roblox. S mode prevents you from downloading 3rd party software like firefox or chrome. It's hard to find laptops nowadays without s mode.

Some of it might also end up in shared gpu memory. Check task manager > gpu and see how much of shared memory is available

Depends on what model you have. The one in the video had 4gb ram soldered in. The ram in the slot is the only removable/ upgradable ram
You can also not have the removable ram in the slot or leave the slot empty if you prefer

@@whattmeter i have the same model too so if I will just follow your vid my ram will be 8gb? assuming im adding a 4gb ram?
To make sure check your task manager >performance >memory. It will tell you ram speed, what ram, and if slot 1 of 2 is used meaning you would have a vacant slot. Then you can see if you only have 4 gb then is you add another 4 then you would have eight

Depends on the cpu. For the one in the video recommended is 12gb max. If I go 20gb it might cause issues
