Great plugin, the gain sliders at the bands are really useful, thank you for releasing such great production software. One feature suggestion for 1.1.2: Could you make it possible to click and drag the cross over frequencies up and down? This would make it really easy to test where they should be and fine tune them.
just a heads up, but the v1.1.1 installer from your site is still installing v1.0 vst3 on MacOS. The .pkg file says 1.1.1, but the plugin is v1 with the date Nov 17, 2022.
@@sixthsample i did some further testing/reinstalling and looks like it was a Bitwig issue. Not sure what was going on, but the v1.1.1 finally showed up in the app. Sounds great!
im using 1.2.3 and it seems to add around 11db to the output even tho the output gain isnt touched/is on 0db also im not sure what the functionality of the arrows are, the index is "expansion" but i have no clue what that means, its kinda confusing me ngl
Thanks for the comment! I imagine you have the expansion mode (arrow up) and the upper threshold quite low in some of the bands. This means that all parts of your signal going above the upper threshold in that specific band, get amplified in proportion to the amount that the threshold was exceeded. @@sixthsample very weird. Yes your link in the description works. But manually going to your website doesn't. (I double double checked it seems to be the exact same address and was from a previously open tab). Even a windows prompt to 'resolve' the issue. 'website appears to be off line'. But I'm in your candystore now so, no real worries.
love your plugins, amazing gui and sound if you like Ableton you may wanna check out Bitwig, founded by the creator of the original Ableton OTT :) U-he and Bitwig recently released a new plugin standard called CLAP. including CLAP versions of your plugins could be another way to promote your plugins as several podcasts, blogs etc are mentioning all new plugins that support the format on a regular basis. i dont know much about this in depth but dev's seem to be excited about it.

However, it's still yet to be supported by almost all major DAWs which is probably why the framework I use (JUCE) hasn't been prioritizing support for the format yet. Let's see though in the future. The fact that it's open-source definitely sounds appealing. :)
@@sixthsample hey thanks for responding. Okay I am used to setting ratios in other plugins for expander like eg 1:5.1, but even if I set the type for pre and post to 0 in your plugin it seems to be expanding. Is that okay? Or is pre/post for something different like only compression?
@@CloserToCalm The pre/post buttons are for the distortion module separate from the multiband compressor. The only knob controlling the ratio of the compressors/expanders is the "Depth" knob. Setting precise ratio values for each band separately is not possible. That said, Cramit might not be the best option for gating and other more precise applications.
@@sixthsample what are the fixed ratios right now or is there a range for expander different from compressor? Which might be in the depth like you said. I wish there were specifics in the manual. Also I didn't want gating, but when the song gets too low then the threshold for downward expand cuts out like gate

It's RMS for everything :)

Does the expansion also need to set type/ratio??
