My wife bought me the kitsune for Christmas and it's my first experience with leverless and it's so difficult to learn because I played on pad. I'm not giving up though, learning to use it playing umvc3
I picked up that cheap leverless you rec'd a while back and I've found some stuff much easier but I was having trouble with movement and went back to stick, I'm taking this as a sign to give it another go, I'll definitely try to work some drills into my routine!
im planning on buying a leverless soon (im using keyboard to minimise the adaptation period) so this vid is very helpful so thank you very much on it!!!

Hello there! Sry for offtop, here just to say thank u!!! I was absolutely new to Tekken series without any experience in it. I've played only MK 11 before. BUT with ur Raven guids (and some other general advices from ur videos) I've done frome zero to fujin only in month! Wish you luck!
Just got mine 2 days ago, i got the haute r16, day 2 of practicing for like 30 minutes and i feel already a bit more comfortable, im still not good enough to go on ranked with it yet but still feel the progress nonetheless.
@PocketMaewing pretty good man pretty steep learning curve but we'll worth it. I have to master my wave dash and qcf movements though thats where I struggle currently.
I have the m series from haute but I keep going back to pad cause relearning is annoying lol, but I should transition to leverless. The movement is throwing me off though
@@tempo_808 it depends on the tournament, it’s TWT and CPT legal but i’ve seen the mixup ban two directions. It can’t really be banned as pad also has two direction buttons
Surprisingly, what I find most difficult is navigating my character in match. like blocking and jumping feels like it takes me 5 seconds longer to make those decisions than it would on pad.
Yeahhhh thanks glad to hear. I have played piano for 14 years and I feel that has helped me to adapt as fast as I have with execution and finger independence. Awesome video thank you! I would also suggest people try wrist motion for QC inputs. It's something I noticed that transfers well from piano.
I've been getting so invested in the FGC space that i'm getting reccommended these videos ahahahah. It's a good one tho. Hopefully if i'll ever want to play one, i'll remember this video (I would never start playing without a leverless. I just find that part of the journey the most interesting)
To iWr , with your left hand hit the qc input but stop on df (so 2fingers down) and hold down but letting go of forward. and then with your thumb and finger on your right hand, hit up and the attack im put together the frame after while still holding left hand down and it should iWr if socd is on.
I own a Kitsune. Played for a year. I’m really good at it. Having said that, I recommend don’t buy it. It’s double the work and it stops being fun. It really does feel like work. I plugged my fight stick the other day. I played Virtua fighter 5. On leverless, that game was a nightmare. On stick? Super easy. Leverless is a lot of hype. Sorry.

I having this issue as well but I’m definitely getting comfortable too as it starts to get easier.
Going from pad since childhood, to stick, back to pad and to try leverless, leverless is superior to both if you put the time in.
Definitely doing those finger exercises.. I’m about 2 months into using a hitbox and I’m seeing progress.. as always appreciate the tips

Thanks for the video! Is it tournament legal to have two "left" buttons?

Not using Raven for movement tips? That's a sin! 😂

You didn’t talk about wave dashes and mishimas

So for raven with leverless can you make one of the buttons a df so u can instant ws easier...i kinda struggle with it on xbox
you can but that would be considered a macro which wouldn't be tournament legal.
@@finnz7786 technically yeah but it’s illegal for one button to be assigned to two inputs
