What a mess. It’s like this on Vancouver Island, BC,Canada. That green slime and black mould all over everything every spring has to be power washed. I’ll never get used to it. I moved here from Alberta. We never lived near the ocean nor got the rain in winter.
I’m not completely able bodied due to a disability that causes physical weakness and fatigue, and watching someone be able to labour and get up and down without feeling sick and unwell or fainting is really impressive to me. Maybe it seems mundane to others, but I think it’s really impressive that you’re able to use your body so well to do work that helps others. That seems like a great gift.

God, I feel you man. I used to be a super active kid (I lived on a farm). Lots of shoveling and washing and lifting and running. Now, I can’t stand for more than a few minutes without getting dizzy. I don’t remember anymore what it felt like to be not bedridden - it’s been so long. I envy those who can do these simple physical activities like standing, bending, walking, even running without extreme pain and sickness. POTS is a bitch.
Sadly people don't know what they had until we come to a point in life that limits our being able to do what we use to. Glad this young man is helping an elderly person. I'm sure she'll be surprised and thankful. 🎉

That's so true! Of all of my positions in the service industry, older folks love the company. They'll try to feed you and tip you and show you their memories. It's beautifully sad...I would always feel guilty if I couldn't spend some extra time with them. ❤

I grew up watching Ground Crew (and Mr. Bean and Father Ted) on PBS, since he loved the show(s), so I get a weird nostalgia watching gardening stuff in the UK now. I did this work as I grew up to help my dad out, and as I got into my highschool and college years he helped me out financially in return for my labor. I always loved when a power washer job needed to be done. Oh, and haha, it’s amazing y’all call it a Strimmer. We call them weed eaters, and from experience I guessed you flooded the engine. It happens! I promise you I made the same mistake! It was hard work, but I miss the halcyon days of working with my dad. Thank you for this trip down memory lane and keep it up!
~🐓~ I used to clean for my 90 years young grandad. Afterwards, I would focus on the flaws and the things I couldn’t get perfect. All he could see was the improvement. It would make him so happy he would giggle! I know your client has to have been thrilled with the surprise ❤️ The floating green screen looked great! And you couldn't show us the old lady seeing it? Not even the daughter? Come on, now. You should know better, and now, you've been told. But bless you, for what you've done for the old lady. I did have a plumber fix a leak in my yard for free last year, and it saved my life, because I was going to lose my home for being unable to pay everything, with $500 or more extra going out every month on water and sewer. I was suicidal. We older people, especially disabled, get cut off from society. Nobody knows we are here, but we are, and need help. When we GET help, we often come out of our shells and share our lifetimes of experiences. Please, everyone watching, consider asking around who needs what help, and help them. Please and thank you.
"SB Pressure Washing" in Arkansas does free pressure washing for the elderly. So does "The Lawn Juggernauts" aka "The Boring Channel". And "The Blessing Boys" do lawns but I don't know what States

Without removing the roots in the cracks of the tile, the weeds are sure to pop up soon. Until that happens, it looks good on top.

Not hard to fix them remove the lower stone add crushed fine stone level and put stone back in place

Love the metal chicken and the results are lovely, it’s very satisfying to watch something transform like that and I enjoy pressure washing around my home when I can as well.
