58" Mayhew Dominator Prybar: amzn.to/4aNXLbq
i think the mystery tool might be the Lisle 68240. I have the HF Icon 58" pry bar you mentioned - it too is made in the USA & looks so much like the Dominator that i'm assuming it must be manufactured by Mayhew for HF. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures this summer with or without 58" prybars😄
Skygreen and Lisle for the win! amzn.to/49W0gqS
And yes, 58” not 50”. It’s actually smaller than the Estwing spud bar I usually use.
@@lastbesttool, I realize filming large prybars would present a challenge given the filming approach you typically use, but I think if you could do it, "large prybar applications" would make a cool episode topic - presumably featuring the Mayhew & Estwing; maybe a Burke bar and/or a digging/SanAngelo bar (same thing as spud bar?)... Anyhow, I know I'd grab some popcorn for that kind of content🤙
I have the Hazet branded set. I use the big one to wedge open doors. But I have to ask, with a Second Gen Tacoma how are you at the auto parts store that much. 😂
The heat gun tip was great 👍
All manufacturers should be legally required to try taking off their own sticky labels, so they can find out how much annoyance they're causing to the people who've been good enough to buy their products.
Or be required to do it 25 times. If they can't do it in 5 minutes it wont be allowed.
I got a lime green one of those from a Matco truck about 5 yrs ago. Exact same shape
Looks really useful
Thanks Doc
Hello again, Doc
Thank you for another Great Video 👍
I came across a very interesting tool at my Big Ace Hardware store which it's the Titan #12225. I think they were selling it for 15 bucks, but I grabbed it at Amazon for well under 10. This is a very interesting screwdriver because it's actually all Phillips fit multi screwdriver where one head fits all from 0-#3 and pozidriv included. Has a nice chrome finish like most of their metal tools. Nice rubber grip handle. Figured you would like to review it.
Comment about pry bars.....I'm not normally a "compare this brand to Harbor Freight or Walmart" guy....but I did just pick up 4 really good pry bars from Walmart under their Hyper Tough label that are made in the USA by Wilde Tools, as well as a carbon gasket scraper. All of them were really low in cost and from my initial testing appear to be really good quality. Basically these are Wilde Tools but really low cost from Walmart. Again....I'm not normally that guy, but I took a leap and so far seem pretty impressed.
Honestly, it is really hard to mess up a pry bar. Yet some companies still find a way.
O'Reilly Auto parts just started stocking it.
Matco part No. CW047 ... 2 piece set $29
Try looking for a 'Easy Pry tool'
Interesting. I like the color but not for twice the price. amzn.to/44jBxva
Yea, put that wedge/pry bar in a vice and then heat it, to get the label off.
Doc you're costing me a fortune
Good for breaking into cars
This is better. Cool Tool Alert: The Calculated Industries #1190 Air Shim at Last Best Tool

Always irritating when manufacturers cheap out on their stickers. Charge another $1 for the additional $0.03 on their end for a cleaner adhesive.
Mueller Kueps part #277 004
What he doesn’t show you is he melted the tool later on while using the heat gun to remove the label! 😢
just don't understand a PLASTIC PRY BAR...
When you want to pry plastic parts away from painted surfaces like door panels in cars you really don't want to scratch the crap out of your customer's property you use plastic.
I use them for taking off rubber plugs on painted covers on my Yamaha outboard.
The Icon bar is a rebranded Mayhew. Doc how can you not use coupons when going to HarborFreight? I’m assuming the money doesn’t matter. I won’t go there unless I have a coupon or I have no other choice
