I have the Channellock 8" prybar. It isn't 4 dollars, 12 and some change, but has the metal cap, full length bar stock and American made. Thanks for the video and review brother.
Thanks Doc. Added to my Amazon cart. Exactly the reason why I love your channel: unbiased and comparative opinions on new hand tools that I might never hear about otherwise.
Reminds me of the 8 inch pry bars that come in HF sets. The Pittsburgh 4 piece that gets the 9.99 coupon every so often has served me well for DIY. Now theyve got a 2 piece Quinn set that comes with an 8 inch and an 18 for $12 that has the nicer Quinn handles.
Square shafts are better for pry bars because of the extra material adding strength - a 1/4" square has considerably more cross-sectional area than a 1/4" circle.
Round might be overall stronger but its non-directional bend nature is, in my opinion, a weaker option. If the square bends, it will be in a predictable direction. If a round one is bent a little sideways it tends to roll out or off prying jobs. Again, in my opinion.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the recommendation.

Now it's sold out and over $9. Bummer. I should sit by the computer night and day waiting for your videos to drop.
Oh I like that! Will keep me from grabbing a screwdriver as a pry bar. Thanks for sharing!

Ordered 2. Appears to be a great price. Thanks Doc

11.5% more material for square vs round definitely helps.
Two for me :) Titan makes some good stuff at a great price usually!
If it’s half as good as the titan submersible, it’ll hold up great!
That is the perfect size and with my preferred tri-lobed handle I will be getting one. Thanks Doc
unfortunately they're twice the price in Europe, which still isn't bad, but not outstanding either.
I had to order one thanks
Winner! Already bought it
Thanks Doc.
1:10.. no, round bar stock is stronger than square..physics ☝️
I did buy one though...handy..it's still $4.65..

Hey what’s the model # of that orange snap on pry bar or do they not make that one anymore
that is a really handy size and can never have too many......especially for $4 bucks?
Got me one!
