- Two Years ago, I bought my first analog slot car. The Slot It GT40. I posted a couple of videos about the car. The first was about how bad I failed that car. I really had no idea what I was doing. I installed a digital chip inside, added some magnets and I still could not drive the car. I took a deep breath after an evening of destruction and said.. there has to be a better way. More research and I finally had a great running slot car.. it was digital, it was high magnet down force, it was a blast to drive. The car is now a parts car, but that is about to change.. let's go Back to the Future and make this car a runner!

Always fun to bring an old warrior back to life. And the Slot It GT 40 is a deserving candidate. Great cars. Nice work Marty.
Two years ago the first Two Lines video I watched was your review this Slotit GT40 when she was new. I glad you have brought her back to life. The Slotit GT40 MkI and MkII have been some of my favorite car to run over the years. Thanks to you and others in the Slot Car community my tuning abilities have also dramatically improved as well over the past couple of years. So Thank You Marty!
MARTY SO GLAD TO SEE YOU GO BACK TO HER I REMEMBER YOU UNBOXING AND HOW EXCITED YOU WERE. GREAT JOB ON TUNE. NICE TO SEE HER RUN AGAIN!
Fantastic video Marty! What a beautiful GT40! Glad its back in action!
Yup, this should be good..love wrenching on my destituted slot cars. Turned out pretty well...but why wouldn't it. As good as when it came out of the jewel case. That's why I like acquiring old cars,, playing doctor Frankenstein is fun, thanks Marty. Have a great memorial weekend.. Cbeers
❤ Ola Marty oh yeah ❤️ gt 40s
Awesome work Marty
Happy Saturday fellow slotterheads and Marty. Time to grind some ROST Ethiopia bean,
that was a good video Marty, great looking car.
Had to laugh, I have the same car in the same condition as your was and I kind of gave up on it . Now I’m going to bring it back to life ,thanks for the update and tips🤜🤜
That’s an awesome car, looks like it runs great now good job, Bud, thanks for sharing.😊🏎️
Great retune Marty , enjoyed watching you revisit one of your older cars . Out the window with that magnet 🤭🤣
Nice reconditioning!!!!!!
Nice work on that one, Marty! I’ve got more than a few older cars that could stand a re-tune. You really turned that one into a top performer. 👍
Nice Marty, makes me think I may need an old GT40 in 1/24.
Never hurts to re-tune the tune.
Nice vid of a cool old gt 40 reborn. I wonder if a 9 tooth would run out of gas on your straight. Was just wondering because it looked like it took a while to stop after letting off gas. Unless your controller is setup that way. But may be quicker going down a tooth or 2 and funer in curves. Just a thought.
Marty; Maybe i missed it. Are you running silicone like normal? If it is stock G22 rubber, a true and treatment will further add a big difference. Also those pod side screws can go for your track set up IMHO.
Marty off subject question but do you have or have you tried any of the 1/32 JK products cars?
