    Hi Marc! Thanks for the video on the comparison. I found it very informative. Also thanks for letting me drive your Gp C car at Electric Dreams a few weeks ago. I couldn't believe the grip from the tires after you treated them with oil. I was scared to apply too much power to the motor so I babied the car around the track. :) I ended up buying a Gp C car a few days later. I took it apart to flatten the chassis per the Slot.It instructions. It wasn't too bad but now it's really flat. I'm going to set it up using Jim Rose's tip. I contacted him last week to ask a question and he replied very quickly. He said he's coming down to race the CanAm race. I asked if he's going to do a video on his CanAm setup. And if he did, to wait until after the race so he wouldn't give away any secrets.

    Great video, much appreciated. I had noticed the differences between the older chassis and newer models with respect to the front axle adjustments. I have replaced a few older Group C models with the newer chassis without any difficulty. What are the differences between the group C stock guide and the CH 10 (besides the obvious use of the screw and washer)?

      Hi Chris! Thank you for your comments!! The CH 10 seems to always have a better fit. I have run into some tightness on a few of the guides as they did not turn side to side easily. The CH 10 also has a slight taper on the front bottom of the guide. Happy Racing and God Bless!!!

    Hi Gerardo! Thanks for the comments!! I upgraded my Repsol Porsche with the new chassis too! It runs so much better now! We have also noticed the difference in some of the motors as well. Looks like Slot-It might be putting 23k motors into new Group C cars! Happy RACING and God Bless!!!

      Do these new vs. old chassis apply to all their Group C cars? Porsche, Jaguar etc ?

    • @TRXperienced
      @TRXperienced  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@harryberry474 Hi Harry! Not necessarily to all of the Group C cars. Thanks for watching and God Bless!!

    Also some orange motors are not 23k motors. Some are 21k. Unless there the darker brown orange motors. Slot it notice the issue now they sell white endbell motors with the 23k engraved on them. So if your going down the straight and notice another car walking from you then you have a older 21k motor. Or you can use a rpm guage on the shaft of the motor.

      Hi Gerardo! Thank you for your comments!! I did finally get a rpm reader to sort things out! Happy Racing and God Bless!!

      Hi John, thank you for watching! I have been involved in slot car racing since 1972 with HO scale. I became interested in 1/32 slot cars in the late 90’s and I began creating more video content during the pandemic. My goal is always to provide useful information and promote FUN slot car racing. Happy Racing and God Bless!!

    Slot.it does sell upgraded chassis for the older models. U can look them up on the slot.it web page. I've upgraded some of my group C porsche's I like the older 956 porsche livery most people don't run them because of the older chasiss.
