I made a mistake, Adam NEVER went to NYU, he attended USC for a short time before jumping in to the professional world. My apologies for the mistake, and thank you to those who corrected me!

Adam had to be scared, the size of the crowd, being American fronting an English band, the comparison to Freddie, etc. Would he be accepted? HELL YES! He is amazing and everyone recognizes true talent! Love this guy! And Queen of course!

thank you for this reaction❤ Adam is really amazing. He later talked about this performance and said that because there were so many people gathered, he couldn't hear the accompaniment. And before the performance, he was unexpectedly allergic to pollen and took allergy medicine before going on stage (which u can't tell at all)
No wonder Brian and Roger love him so much.

They opened this with that set, Brian May asked if the queen would like to participate some way with that first song and they said they would see what they could do, so that teacup scene was the real queen with paddington bear. I would have hated to be the act following that iconic band. Adam Lambert really holds his own with them, too!

When this came out, I showed my 2 yr old grandson the video because you know Paddington. He didn't care about that he loved We Will Rock You. It's his favorite song! He taught his preschool friends it. Of course, he sings the lead, lol! His teacher had to tell him he could only sing it at lunch and recess because spontaneous song didn't work well in school! Let's see how his soon to be kindergarten teacher handles him! 🤣 The keyboard player Spike Edney was touring with Queen since 1984 or 86. Neil Fairclogh plays bass, and Tyler Warren plays second percussion.

But it is Queen ( + Adam Lambert ) so that makes it okay. Also he was not the only American performer to be part of the Jubilee. And, England still considers the USA as their renegade child so in a way we are all still family. The edge of the sixpence has lines on it so Brian says that makes a difference in the sound as well. Of course he has his own guitar that he and his dad built so the tone of the guitar is a bit different from other guitars as well.

@@DavidBraileyLive In the grand scheme of how many years Adam has been touring with Queen (12 years), 10 years might be considered quite a long time. That's probably the more relevant time scale in this particular context.

As an Aussie, the only other person who might have been able to fill those big shoes after Freddy is/was John Farnham. Sadly, probably not now but him and Adam and equally the most talented and multifaceted male vocalists I know.

After Freddie Mercury's death in 1991, QUEEN's members and Management Team and Freddie Mercury's Phoenix Trust Fund Team chose Paul Rodgers as frontman from 2004 to 2008. Their 2008 Concert in Kyiv was released by Queen Official to raise funds for Ukraine. Adam Lambert was chosen way back in 2009 during his short stint on AIS8. Sir Brian May received over half a million calls, texts and a clip of his audition for his solo career. Roger Taylor and Phil Spike Edney were blown away with Adam Lambert's rendition of Whole Lot Of Love and the song has been added on their setlists in their select worldwide Tours, as well as some songs from Adam Lambert's solo career Albums. After the finale, Sir Brian May had a private conversation with Adam and expressed his desire to work with him in the future and the rest is history in the annals of music and film industries.

While I’ve been a fan of Adam since he was on Idol, he ain’t no Dimash Qudaibergen. If you haven’t seen any Dimash try SOS at the Slavic Bazzar, that’s the best starting point to the Dimash rabbit hole.

Dimash butchered 1 QUEEN song he tried, The Show Must Go On and Adam Lambert's rendition at London's 02 in 2018 is included on their #1 Live Around The World Album. Adam Lambert has been singing QUEEN's eclectic catalogue of songs in their original keys live on stage in Arenas and Stadiums since 2011 to present. Dimash will never reach nor match Adam Lambert's remarkable artistry and worldwide accomplishments. Dimash will NEVER out sing and out perform GLOBAL SUPERSTAR ROYALTY Adam Lambert. Adam Lambert is a classically trained tenor, 2nd best on Digital Door, an archived list of ROCKERS. BOTH Freddie Mercury and Adam Lambert are listed. Adam Lambert already amassed multi million dedicated worldwide fans and was already a multi millionaire before he acquiesced to join QUEEN who patiently waited 2years while he promoted and performed his 1st and 2nd solo career Albums worldwide. Adam Lambert's 2nd Album debuted #1 on BILLBOARD 200 in 2012, the same year he insured his voice for 48million $ which eventually was increased to over 50million $. Adam Lambert has 6 solo career Albums, started working on a ROCK MUSICAL based on a 70's New Yorker in which a successful playwright is working on a script for live on stage performances and will possibly be turned into a movie as well.

The only thing Adam Lambert and dimash has in common is, both performed live on stage at St Petersburg's Ice Palace. Dimash is genre limited and if I want to listen to Opera, I'd listen to Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, Mirella Freni, Maria Callas etc. successful iconic and legendary Opera Artists, never dimash, a mere wannabe who has to transition back and forth singing like a female and male, equivalent to pony tricks.
