Japanese language only has 5 vowels and they're always (well, there are always some exceptions with things like devoicing, but that's not that important and you'll still sound a lot better if you miss those exceptions than if you pronounce things like English) a - always it's like the "a" in "hard" e - always like the "e" in "hell" i - always like the "i" in "interesting" o - always like the "o" in "Tom" u - always like the "oo" in "look". When a vowel is doubled it means you should emit the sound longer, not like two separate sounds. The "o" doesn't get doubled as "oo" but "ou", so there's no "u" sound there. Consonants also are always pronounced the same way. Except for vowels when they're alone, all the Japanese "letters" are a combination of one consonant and one vowel, so it's Li-la-su (but you devoice the u at the end of a word to the point where you can just not say it at all) I-ku-ta /Lee-Las (like "last" without the t) Ee-ku (like in coup d'etat)-ta.

By the way, Mayu Maeshima used to be a member of Myth & Roid. Recently a film based on Overlord was released and along with it the title theme song is called OxT - Wheeler dealer. Usually not a fan of ballads, but everything Teniwoha does with Ado is pure gold. Eien no Akuruhi and Gira Gira are two of her best (slow) songs in my opinion. Also, "Kujaku no Dance, Dare ga Mita?" or "Who Saw the Peacock Dance in the Jungle?" (where the fck did jungle come from Netflix?....) with Hirose Suzu is on Netflix one episode every week, starting from Jan 24th.

Ado is on a roll lately, between this, Episode X, Sakura Biyori and Shoka, we've got such a great lineup of quality songs. Can't wait for her eventual third album. I mean not that she's ever really put out anything but good songs; still, I feel her music just keeps getting better over time somehow

Most people got hyped for the collaboration with Ado and Ayase me included but I was more excited to see her working with Teniwoha again. Ein no Akuruhi has been in my top 5 for years and I hope she includes him in any future ballads going forward. It's scary how she can roll into a ballad and seem like she's spent her whole life focusing on just ballad style music when she's here then goes off and does something completely different and waits just long enough to come back and humbly say this is still part of my domain and knock it out of the park again.

This is actually the third time Ado, Teniwoha and Numata Zombie work together on a project. The first one was Gira Gira, but Numata first "met" Ado when she did the wonderfully creepy music video for Ado's pre-Usseewa Biz feature Tokyo Cannibalism. Teniwoha is a novelist in addition to being a Vocaloid producer and yes I think he's Ado's best lyricist. Also made Zoku Zoku for Phantom Siita. so, a lot of history between them but they've really outdone themselves this time. Ado has also covered a few of his songs, including his very queer hit "Villain" on her official cover album.

SPOILERS BELOW!!! The thing I love most about this song is that back in 2018 when I started playing it was a very cool and moving song that I always enjoyed listening to. Now 7 years later I realize that the title "This is what you are" is what Warframe is all about. Every main character has to confront the question of "Who am I" and only by making a choice and answering that question do they all begin to heal and become better people. The obvious one is the Tenno with both The Second Dream and The War Within but you also have The Lotus struggling between her identity as both Lotus and Natah, The Stalker starts as our enemy and even attacks us in random missions but through both The New War and Jade Shadows he chooses to be more than just a killer in the shadows, he chooses to be a protector and father. The Drifter chooses to be more than just a slave to his own guilt and depression, through Teshins guidance he learns to feel and care, he learns how to be human again. Even the grineer soldier Khal chooses to be more than just another servant of the queens and chooses to be a freedom fighter beside his brothers in arms, best summarized when he constantly tells himself "For the Queens" in order to push himself forward but when he thought he was about to die his thoughts weren't of the Queen's...... "For.....my brothers".
