- Communicate sonically with the Past, Present and Future with the Time Shadows Subharmonic Multi-Delay Resonator!
A joint collaboration between Jamie Stillman of EarthQuaker Devices and Ollie Ackermann of Death By Audio, this delay pedal offers something vastly unique by switching through the 3 modes.
All three modes share the same simple controls: Time, Span and Filter.
While they control the same parameters, you’ll get wildly different results in each mode.
Time: Controls the Delay Time.
Span: Controls the intensity of repletion.
Filter: Arguably the most fun control on Time Shadows! On the EQD side this controls an envelope for the filter frequency and a gate for the cutoff to the input of the delay. On the DBA side this controls the filter Frequency as well as the shift point of a precisely phased delay line for pole zero interpolation. In the magic middle position, this controls the mix.
In addition to all this madness we also bring you a user assignable expression jack and 6 preset slots to save and recall your favorite settings!
With these three unearthly delights, you should have everything you need to break brains and destroy monotony!
Each Time Shadows was lovingly built by druids with very soft hands in the tiny hobbit hole of Akron, Ohio.

Really loving this pedal! And with addition of the expression pedal, I feel like I become the creator and ruler of a far away planet.
This is my new favorite pedal. Tons of awesome sounds and options in a small enclosure.
Blumes and this sounds like the best combo ever.
This is a marvelous pedal. I bit the bullet on the resale market on the original a year ago, but having the additional options I still bought the new one. I thought I would put the old one as part of precious collection, but tbh, combining the two makes it even more cinematic!!

I was surprised by how many sounds this pedal could make when I first started using mine! Lots of fun finding new sounds. Thanks for bringing this pedal back. My favorite EQD pedals are the weird and wacky ones. More of those please!

Cool ideas on both sides of the pedal. Nitpicky idea: Add an lfo to the filter control. Using an expression ramper makes this pedal infinitely more useful. Great edits to og though and thanks for the demo!
Finally worked it. The middle mode is Wendy Carlos scoring Tron. Indeed, the entire pedal sounds like something she would have used
Psyched that this is back in production! I had an original I needed to let go of but always missed it. Always thought this was a pedal more players should’ve had the opportunity to try.

I would say towards the end of the chain but it could sound interesting at the beginning of the chain depends on what other pedals you are playing!
