- In this video, a comparison was made between the SUPER_Takumar 105mm f/2.8 and the Meyer&Gorlitz 100mm f/2.8.
Which one do you prefer?
Make your decision too, it's not easy.
在本視頻中,我對 SUPER_Takumar 105mm f/2.8 和 Meyer&Gorlitz 100mm f/2.8 進行了比較。
你更傾向哪個?
也做出你的決定,這並不容易。
Oh that is so beautiful! That might just be your skill of course, but your footage makes me want to rush out and buy a copy of this lens for video work. What a stunner! Thank-you so much.
Thanks for your comment.🤗
Nice test!
Thank you!
I own and use eight Takumar lenses. The 105mm f/2.8 is my second favorite. The 8-element 50mm f/1.4 is my first favorite.
Sorry for the late reply. Indeed, the 8 element version of the 50mm f/1.4 is a gem. Before this series, I was owning only ONE Takumar. The just-said lens.
Thank you for a very informative video.
The pleasure its mine. Thanks for the comment.
Hello from New Zealand. Nice to find you and your Takumar. I don't have this lens, but i have nine other Takumars and this is also one i will find. Wonderful glass at a low price - beautifully engineered. I shoot my Taks on 4/3 Olympus - especially good on the E300 with the 8MP CCD (is just like shooting film), Spotmatic, and Pentax K1. I do have other vintage glass, but usually i'm not sure why! Nice overview by you - many thanks - Lkd&Subd.
It’s my pleasure you have enjoy it. And thanks for mention witch cameras you use for shooting, as I can do a search for cinematic film instead of using my BMPCC. Thanks for your comment.
Nice video! I have the exact same lens, but didn't have much time to fully test it yet.
I’m glad to hear that.
thank you!
When you gave the dimensions of the lens, you made a mistake, using cm instead of mm.
Thank you for your comment. Much appreciated.
Well illustrated information about the lens design and all optics' characteristics. I like my 2.8/105mm Super Takumar mounted on Pentax Spotmatic SP 'black beauty' especially because of its colour rendition. @philosimot
Thanks for your comment. People who plays with film are really masters. I have to take my hat off for you sir.
I've got the great 200mm Takumar and I imagine the 105mm is of the same quality. Excellent presentation as always...a great example to emulate. Thanks again!
Thank you again.
How do I know if mine is an early copy?
From the batch number you find behind the A/M switch.
