+Raumance Wi-fi has a second or more delay. These use 5.8GHZ video antennas with CCTV cameras.

Use manned drones
Someone actually did a podracing themed drone race through a big forrest. It looked like they were podracing in the forrests of endor (ewok place). I forget who hosted it, but it was pretty freaking awesome and had lots of competitors. They all flew low to the ground too, I think it was an added rule for the podracing theme.

SO MUCH POTENTIAL, building your own crafts from chinese electronics, making the frames, getting together to mess around and fly some drones, fuck me this is amazing :D
Its like car racing except it wont leave you homeless and its much more flexible thanks to the small areas required for the races because the drones can fly in 3 dimensions. Just mark an open area and go, so cool
