I cant get over how much the brown girl looks like one of mine, Lanabelle. The color and the agouti, and the pattern are identical! If you look up Lanabelle and Suki Ring For Cucumbers, you will see her. Recently I took one of my older girls, Suki, who was showing cyst signs and losing weight to be spayed. The vet is one I know and like, a good fella who has served me and my piggies well, but not one that had done spays for me before at this place. The usual lady wasn't available. When I picked her up after, he had done the surgery through the abdomen, not the flanks! One reason this is not as good as flank is the belly can get infected. And it DID. She had a tough time, but in the end made it through. My point is dont assume its a flank approach. Make sure it is. Good luck to you and yours.
@@bunberrier my vet just told me this year she switched to doing the flank procedure, so I was glad to hear that. I am happy your pig turned out to be okay.
It's awesome that they're doing so well. I think Clementine has learned from Vada, she is slowly becoming a second hay monster and plows through the pile just like Vada does. Marzipan is adorable.
It really is wonderful to hear that the after spays are going so well. After getting my rabbits spayed and neutered, it was nerve wracking for about a, week after woulds, mostly it was just on my mind that something could go wrong. I don't blame you for being over cautious and nervous, you really are on edge for a time! How beautiful they all are, it's so sweet to see them getting along so well 🥰🫠🫠
So happy that they're both doing well and almost fully recovered. Didn't one of your piggies have a reaction to stitches, like an allergic reaction? And you had to go have them replaced. Do you think you'll merge these ladies with the other 2

@mszoomy Velvet did and had to get stitched up again. It sucked and then she was left with a hernia but luckily it didn't bother her.
@@mszoomy I am not sure about merging as Autumn got hurt when Vada joined so kind feel she deserves a break.
