July 21, 2019: It has come to my attention today that there are TH-cam Channels, throughout TH-cam, that are plagiarizing my Litter Box System, stating it is their system that they developed. I developed this system back in 2012 and featured it on my Cattery's website under the Toxic Litter page on January 20, 2013 www.victoriangardenscattery.co.... My Toxic Litter page is copyright protected. These various TH-cam Channels are plagiarizing my intellectual property for their financial gain.
July 21, 2019: QUESTIONS - Please read the comments first before asking a question. I have had to answer the same questions multiple times. I don't want to have to turn off the comments since they are a huge help to others.

**Tips for Transitioning a Cat to this pelleted pine litter:
    1) In the comment section of this video, there are a lot of helpful suggestions to get your cats to transition over. Try to read other posters comments on how they successfully transitioned their cats over to it.
    2) You may need to contain your cats/kittens in a small room while you a transitioning them over to the pellets or contain the cat that is having a hard time transitioning over
    3) Put some of their stools in the pelleted litter.
    4) Get some Dr. Elsey's Litter Attractant to sprinkle on the pellets. It is in a sprinkler canister that you can find at most Pet Store. Here is our link to buy it: amzn.to/2Kqsgbs
    5) Start adding in the pellets to their old litter so they get use to the feeling of the pellets on their paws.
    6) Slowly stop cleaning their old boxes.
    7) Once they start using the pellets, you can remove their old boxes slowly.
    8) Be patient. Cats are just like humans, they do not like change.

I know this was 6 years ago but I seriously wish I could pay you for making this video! You have saved me so much money and time. The clay litter was driving me crazy 😩😩 it was expensive, dusty, and smelled so bad like ammonia. This system has saved my relationship with my rescue cat. So much easier and better. I used to dread sifting the clay box but I don’t even blink an eye getting the solids out immediately and then just sifting the sawdust through. I don’t have this long dreaded task at night. The cat poop smell isn’t pleasant but once it’s scooped out the smell is gone. You smell nothing afterwards. No ammonia nasty smells. Plus I love that he isn’t having to walk on his poop or pee and then walk on my surfaces. Thank you, thank you! 😌😌😌

Ever since I switched over from regular litter to this type of litter I have had people tell me they can’t believe I even had cats because they never smell anything when they come over. But I always remove the feces and spray right away when they go too so it never stinks up my house. I haven’t used regular litter ever since.

I am an over the road truck driver who got my cat for company because cats are generally cleaner than dogs and I needed a companion. But I was worried about having a smelly gross truck with a litter box. This method has allowed me to comfortably have my cat on my truck and I get asked all the time how I keep my truck so clean and free of odor with a litter box. My truck stays clean and smells lovely and I’m still on the first bag I bought over 6 months ago. It’s cheap and it last. Thanks...!=)

I’ve been using this method for about 4 years now. I absolutely love it. I’m disabled and it is the easiest, no odor system and I have literally tried them all. I use the plastic bag litter pan liners instead of pee pads, because it is easier for me to get out because I can only use one hand. I also put a litter genie next to it to put the poop into after I scooped it. The price is beyond cheap compared to any other litter. It’s also easier to clean up if your cat knocks some on the floor and it doesn’t track all over the house like other litters. My cat thinks she has to dig to China when covering her poop, and even though she does knock some out, it’s easier to clean. I had to remove the sides of my breeze system because my cat is 14 years old and has trouble stepping over into the box, so it’s a little easier for her to knock some of the pellets out.

I’ve only been using this for a couple of weeks but I’m LOVING the way my house smells now! Once my cat developed diabetes, regular litters were not retaining the smell like it did before. I tried gel, crystal, and clay litters and they were NASTY! But I had a friend send me this video and I decided to give it a try. I have three cats, so I got two regular and one hooded breeze system (old cat prefers the hood) so it was a little expensive to get it started up. It took them about a week for me to transition them from the old system to a new system, but they use it like champs now! Now I only ever have to buy a cheap bag of pine litter pellets and puppy pads! I haven’t worked out how long it will take to go through my supplies but it will probably be at least two months before I need to buy another bag of pellets ($15) and puppy pads ($20-$30). I’m praying that this system continues to work because this is going to save so much money for us in the long run!! Thank you so much for sharing this information!!! 😊❤

I just want to say again that this is the most amazing thing I have found on TH-cam. I now swear by this and I am showing a lot of other cat owners! A few tips I’ve learned is if you help shake it or move the dust along every day it helps keep it even. Also when you shake it the poop comes to the top so it’s easy to find. I also adopted putting some plain baking soda on top to mask the pine scent. Thank you so much for the most wonderful idea and for helping me save lots of money and keeping my cats happy and healthy! ❤️❤️

Hi so is there a pine scent? How strong? Will the house smell like pine? What about in the summer. Does the heat make the pine smell even stronger? Also, can you attest that there is absolutely NO urine or ammonia smell with the sawdust? Some people say there's no smell, while others say "the smell is greatly reduced" from whatever they were using before. Which is it? I want ZERO smell, like I have with my grass seed litter. Thanks

I recently implemented this with my finicky 14yo calico and our new addition that used to wander our neighborhood. Both took 2-3 days to acclimate but it was seamless. A little of their old box poopadoops in the new box and bam. No more litter dust in their little lungs and so much easier for us to manage. The pine pellets from TS do great at keeping a fresh scent and we don’t have litter granules everywhere anymore. I have peace of mind about their health with the bonus of cost savings. Thank you for this!

This is the best most economical time efficient litter box system ever. I've bred persian cats for about 20 years. I've tried Electronic and other types of boxes, but this is the best of all. It keeps the oder down better than anything else I've tried. 😂Thanks for sharing. Breeze boxes are a little pricey but worth every penny. Since you're adding the extra litter pan on the bottom, you won't need the slide out tray that comes with the Breeze box. You can use the tray for serving food or drinks so nothing is wasted. I've used other sifting litter boxes besides the Breeze box that are not as expensive . You can cut pcv plastic pipe material in 4 pieces about 2" high and place them at the 4 corners of the bottom tray underneath the pee pad to you leave space between the pad and the sifting tray.

I have been using your system for about 2 months now; I am so happy with how well this works. There are so many benefits from using this system. Save money, less mess, clean and easy, safe. I have 3 cats in total, and 2 of those do not cover when using the litter box; which comes as a benefit because I can easily remove and toss their 'business'. The air is cleaner in my bathroom, the floor is cleaner and less strewn with tiny litter, and cleanup is fast and easy! I bought one system to try and have since setup the second, and we are about to setup a third. I can not fully express how grateful I am for your video, you've changed our lives.
I set out to find something better after losing 2 cats to cancer, approximately 2 weeks apart from one another. It was heartbreaking to think that their suffering and our loss may have been due to hard clumping litter I had been using for years. Now, I am sharing your video with everyone I know, and calling all my cat servant friends to make the change too. Also, I shouldn't really tout something I can't prove, but I swear to you, the very air is cleaner after changing to the pine pellets.

Aisha Masood I saw a different video of someone just using the pellets in a box. He suggested that some quit too easily and to stick with it. I’m just starting out but I have my two cats blocked off in my bedroom and bath so if the refuse to use it at least I don’t have to search everywhere for the mess. He also suggested tough love and didn’t try to transition. I think my own mindset was holding me back because I’ve had pellets in the closet for weeks. The encouragement to go for it helped. I’m going to do it, for them and me, and figure they will be okay with it, soon I hope. One of my cats is really particular and hates change but I’m determined to see it through for everyone’s health. Keep trying.

The "old" litter would smell after just a few uses, but with the pellets there us no smell and a lot less litter tracking on my floor. I wish I had started this system earlier. Thank you so much. i wood place a one inch wood chopping block in the front and this will work as a step for them. I would also forgo the puppy pad (very bad for the environment and an added expense) and just buy two of the large bottom pans. I would use a clean one and throw the saw dust in my garden and hose of the pan. Let it dry and keep it ready for when I have to change the bottom pan. The saw dust placed in the yard or garden helps keep snakes away. Snakes detest the smell of cat urine and snakes 🐍 will stay away. Having two bottom pans. One being used and one being cleaned, dried and ready for when switching is needed-is the most environmentally friendly method.

I can’t thank you enough for this video! I’ve tried different litters and systems and I was so frustrated with litter tracking outside the box and constantly sweeping several times a day because I don’t like a mess. I used the newest breeze box with the hinged hood. Everything else was exactly as she suggested in the video. A week before I completely switched I put the new system next to the old one so she could get used to it. Then I added some pine pellets to her old box because they definitely feel different than the old clay litter. I didn’t add new clay litter when I cleaned the old box. When there was only about half the litter left I completely pitched the old one and put the new one in its place. It was stressful at first wondering if she would use it. I feared an accident. But it worked! I’m so impressed by how well it works! Just like you said! I have one of those litter mats that I kept when I used the clay litter. I put it right outside the doorway of the new breeze box. I also used the tiny pee pads that came with it slid it in the opening of the mat, because I was afraid she’d pee outside the box since she’s a bigger cat and the box seems smaller Than the old one.
I repurposed the tray that came with it for crafting/ painting with my daughter.
I can’t say enough about this!! No mess, no smell, less money spent. It’s a winner! Thank you again!!!

Wow, I've been using pellets (I used the pine pellets before I came across your video), but it was a chore to filter out the sawdust, and I sometimes ended up throwing out a lot of unused pellets, because it was easier. I was also ordering mine from Amazon (the cheapest I could find) at $30-$40, but I did a search for hardwood pellets and found a $40-lb bag for under $6.
I set up the system (I also placed the cover of the dome litter box I threw out yesterday, because my cat's only a prude when it's time to use the litter box), and she took to it immediately. I checked it this evening, and I only had to scoop out the solid waste (and thank you for the litter scoop recommendation, as well) and then shake the box to evenly distribute the sawdust. No wasted pellets, and no wet mess inside the litter box.
Thank you so much, this is genius!

Thank you for this lovely resource! ❤

This is the best and most affordable cat litter system. Our cats started using it within a week. We left the old litter box and didn't clean it until they started using the new one. Thank you so much for the advice.

I've been using this system now for about 14 weeks and I'm so glad you posted the video. The pellets are 5.99 a 40lb bag at tractor supply and they are lasting 7 weeks. I was going through 15 lb. Bags of expensive litter every two weeks before this! My cat is possibly diabetic so he goes a lot. I'm grateful for the savings!

Hello, I've come here to this video intentionally because I wanted to say a few things. First of all thank you so much for sharing this amazing technique. I've been using it for a year now and I now I wouldn't do it any other way!
On that note I wish you (or anyone!) could design a litter box that was affordable, with no pull-out tray at the bottom and a good depth between the sifter and the bottom tray. Ive bought countless litter boxes for my spoiled babies and every time I buy one when I get frustrated because they're all basically designed the same way. Who actually wants to dump all of that litter into a strainer and have cat pee sawdust drifting in the air and floor etc. Have they not seen your technique?! Your method beats every other system out there. I don't know why they have to make things so complicated or so expensive. I have all these extra litter box trays because all the litter boxes I buy have two trays and one sifter. Wish I could at least have the option to purchase one sifter separately so I can make two litter boxes out of it instead of just wasting another bottom tray.
To anyone who may be seeing this video now adays, try this method it is by far the easiest, the best smelling and cheapest technique I've ever heard of. (except for having to purchase the damn expensive boxes and waste half of the product bc their systems suck lol)
Thank you again for sharing this technique with the world!
Please spread the word, share this video so that maybe litter box companies can adapt to create a product that actually compliments this system that works so amazingly!

I purchased the Equine Pine Pellets at TSC. Breeze Kit and pads are on the way from Chewy. I even purchased the feeder bin which stores 40 lbs of pellets perfectly! While waiting I added a few cups of pellets to the old litter. She seems to like it-- so far! :-) Can't wait to transition completely to 100% pine pellets. Thank you so much for creating this method for healthier cats and humans.

I especially liked the idea of the puppy pads, your box system, and keeping the litter box in the bathroom. The low cost and safety are added bonuses. I am on my way out to adopt 2 kitties right now!

I have been able, with your wonderful directions, to transfer my adult cat and a new little kitten to use the liter boxes just as you described. Along with the pellets, I added a little regular liter during the transition period. So, now, I have three Breeze boxes using them just the way that you directed! There is no odor except after a poop! I am so very grateful for your suggestion!

I love this Cat Litter System. I followed your instructions, set up 2 systems that are in my large bathroom. My 14 yr old male cat G-Purrs loves it and my new female kitten Onyx, a black Bombay, used it within one day and both still use it. G-Purrs had been only using piddle pads which I still allow him to use with his declining health. I've been using your Natural Litter Box System for almost a year now so I should have written sooner. Thank-you for your advice and sharing your beautiful Felines with all of us. May our Father the Lord God bless you and your family always. Our Critters love us unconditionally, so they're part of our Family by choice. Sending love and hugs to all.

Welp, 3 years late on this one but by far the best video on a pine pellet system that I have found thus far. That is counting other videos that were explaining nearly the same system.
Great job and will definitely be switching to this method not just because of everything explained in the video but also for the low to no tracking nature of it.

I have been using this system for a few months. Thank you so much for sharing it! I love that the sifting box avoids the issue of tracking sawdust. I like that pine absorbs cat urine smell so well. I also like the affordable price, & the fact that it’s the least toxic litter system I’ve found. I appreciate you making this video. I have shared your video with people who are having litter box problems.
