This talk reminds me of conversations between Jiddu Krishnamurti and various physicists of the 60's and 70's. It seemed that Krishnamurti always gave the superior interpretation of how our apparent realities and consciousness are experienced, and how we believe what we see, label, and explain has basically all been erroneously programmed in since birth. Not to be trusted as true observation that accurately describes everything we think we know in our world.

Thanks so much you two. Next Level Soul has done so many great interviews but, for me, this one is is the best. I've read Donald's book: 'The Case Against Reality'. I think his new ideas are wonderful - they could lead us to 'Heaven on Earth'.

Being too aware of being aware can sometimes lead to dissociative disorders.
Humans always need to understand more, and that thirst for understanding has likely aided in civilization advancements over the last few thousand years.

If everything is happening at the same time whether it is "past" or "future" then what determines that I am experiencing this particular life as my reality and not an other one?

There’s something missing in this conversation and it sits within my discipline of anthropology, which brings ‘science’ and ‘spirituality’ into the equation and is the bridge in this conversation. I can only suggest that you integrate that perspective. Robert Sapolsky is the man to speak to. For so many reasons

Yes Alex! You are right about need for scientists to work together with spiritualists & mystics who have direct experience of Source. But doesnt mean they can 'define' it in finite terms. Yeah, Tao that can be spoken, or defined I 'd add, is NOT The Tao, which is also known in Taoism as Original Essence that is neither created, nor can it be destroyed, it simply IS, as us expressed in I AM. Period. I AM THAT I AM can be felt, known & experienced directly within each & every one of us. Is Awesome that we were designed with the capacity to know & experience PrESSENCE of Source Within. Is not about religion & religion does NOT have monopoly on our ability, or intrinsic RIGHT to know our Creator Source, we are actually still One with, though we are dreaming we are separate.
