At first when I saw this, I was trying to figure out a way to get her to watch it with me purely due to the songs LOL but I'm NOT cool and I'm also the LAST person she ever wants to hang out with these days 😢... GRACIAS DIOS POR HABERME HECHO NACER EN LA MISMA EPOCA EN LA QUE ESTA MUJER MARAVILLOSA ESTA VIVIA!
Acá tenés a una uruguaya viciada con este musical y esta señora
Still trying to figure out how the hell the 2 other people get onstage so quickly at the end of uninvited 😮
it kept freaking me out when iris would look EERILY CLOSE to the camera 😭😭
“Please do not call me Joanne. I’m not a fucking fabric store.” This show could’ve worked if not for the producers. Shame.
I'm pretty sure it was originally a scene about deadnaming, until someone decided that an enby lesbian is ""too much"" for Broadway
YAS FUCK IT UP IRIS
THEY ARE SO TALENTED AHHHH
I really hope to see more from iris in the future. Zie was amazing in “West Side Story”, and zie deserves to be in a Broadway musical that will treat hir with love and respect; because zie definitely does not seem like one to be trifled with.
Iris is amazing
This is a great performance, but when it comes to this specific song in the show, I preferred Lauren Patten’s version.I think it was a bit more dynamic.
same
Honestly, same. I’m a bit biased, though, because Lauren’s version was the first time I had ever heard the song; and it just sounds superior to any version I hear now.
Which song?
I'm working this show in my city rn!
Ur lucky as fuck that sounds so fun
@@ooofthedegenerate it was a lot of fun, but being back stage I didn't see much of the show!
Amazing!! Thank you for posting and sharing with us. Does anyone have the version with Lauren I never saw it and would like to compare just for myself.

IRIS
Im not a bleeping fabric store!😀🤣😂😆😅😁
What in the reese’s peanut butter fuck was that 😂😂😂😂 it was glorious
38:02 why does it look like Derek noticed he was being illegally recorded help
i think iris did amazing but compared to lauren, i much prefer laurens because her voice and her movements were more there
Does anyone have the full show or sections of the show that Lauren patten plays Jo?
Much appreciated for this video!!
i have it if you’re still looking

I want this to come to the west end
It is in fall of this year I believe!!! :)
@@ooofthedegenerate really really really??? omg. Any news? same cast? new cast? Aghhh just read it!! THANKS! Should start Nov so on sale soon? Reason to live! Only thing...it says British cast. Ughh I so wish I got to see the originals. Well lets see. Gotta think positive!
@@barneyhubble8009 I have no clue just like google shit and dates might appear I know the north American tour already has dates so the west end might have dates and shit
@@ooofthedegenerate I tweeted the newspaper reporter that told the first news its coming to the UK, he said it is but they need to find a theatre.
Everyone grew and are putting the pieces of their lives back together, slowly.
Thanks for this, its utterly amazing. Can I ask though, ive watched the show so many times im muddled up. This is different with MJ going backwards during smiling so the new version? Either ive never seen this before or just watched the old one so many times I didnt notice?! Am I going crazy? (I might be) haha. Help, the changes are messing with my head!
lol i spent way too much time procrastinating a paper and researching this. It's nearly identical, they're both moving backwards, the only differences are costumes, there's an extra ensemble track added to one of the pharmacy scenes (i think) in the new version, two ensemble members dab in the spin class scene in this version, and the swallowing is more exaggerated in this version. but that's it
@@amandalogan5023 Thankyou!!!!!! yes the women in it more OK. I thought id gone mad/ Something had changed I couldnt put my finger on it. Other lines have changed too right? (Unless they were improvising). Like the Dad with his guitar when they mention Alanis at the end?. I did prefer the earlier version of the ending but the rest looks a lot fresher! Oh I dont mind anyway id so love to see it live. im putting it out there into the universe. Thanks again x
@@barneyhubble8009 Yeah they changed a lot since the other one is from I think the 1st or 2nd week of previews and this one was the final version... at least for the Broadway run. Really interesting to see
Does anyone have a bootleg version of Heidi?? I have been looking for it for a while now but I am not sure if there is one
I wish I could find it to because no one compares to her Mary Jane.
you miss so much on stage production zooming in the main characters. its not a sitcom
Does anyone happen to have the Lauren version slime?
Fantastic
unpopular opinion: i like iris's portrayal of jo more than lauren's
(not unpopular - right there with you)
I agree
I like this portrayal more too but Lauren's voice is just killer. But also, why didn't they adjust the key for iris?
It’s more authentic
Why?
awesome show ! Go seeee it!
Do you guys have any idea behind the meaning of how the show ended?
It was something to do with the pandemic, I think. a lot of shows were closing for Christmas and COVID didn’t help with that
Oh sorry. I was meaning to ask how it ended story-wise.
@@lemuelermita3456)
YES!!
The Australian cast is way better, Soz not Soz just my opinion! These guys are still great but yeah Australian cast all the wayyyyyyy!!!!
Completely agree! A lot more talent from the Aussie cast!
Cap
@@LOLWAAHH what do you mean?
I disagree if we’re just talking vocally I feel like there’s way more emotion in the Broadway cast voices. Aswell I feel like the AU Performers when not singing amped up the sentimentality to like Dear Evan Hansen levels (Which isn’t good). The AU performance is good just really not my cup of tea.
Is there a version that we can see?
what does the sign say that they hold up in 2:30?
I'm pretty sure it says "fuck racism"
Can they do a tour in Philippines? 😢
what does the sign she holds up at the beginning say? i missed it
It says “F*** fascism”.
anyone know what's written down on that board at 2:35? Please
I tried pausing it at the right time and I’m gonna assume it says “Fuck Fascism” because I can see the Fascism part. :)
I think it says racism
This is a great musical that handles very serious topics very well, but the "don't get raped" sign during the rally for bella is a but funny to me bc its not like you really have a choice.
Don't get Raped is what women are told. A red marker crossed off words and letters so the sign reads: DON'T RAPE. It's hard to see here but very clear on stage. It's a powerful sign.
I'm glad I found slime instead of spending cabage bc this is ugh
I saw this and Imma be honest I liked Dillion Klena more than Derek klena
Is this the ART cast? Pre-b'way...I saw this at the ART before it blew up and when I tried to get tix again before it left ART, it was utterly impossible...once reviews came out, it was constantly sold out and then it made it to b'way! Everyone in the cast was so amazing!
This boot is of the Broadway cast.
