as a theatre kid, it's a dream to have a musical based on my favorite singer
44:28
Musical Theatre will never be as cool as it thinks it is.
does anyone have the tour cast
Iris menas is phenomenal
it kept freaking me out when iris would look EERILY CLOSE to the camera 😭😭
1:50:51 UNINVITED ‼️‼️‼️‼️ (this cast do such an amazing job with this song i can't over it. best i've ever seen)
This is my favorite version of Unnvited EVER, the harmonies are freaking BEAUTIFUL!!
Changed my life
47:00
As someone who struggles to process what people say, you have no idea how much these captions are helping. Tysm!
Still trying to figure out how the hell the 2 other people get onstage so quickly at the end of uninvited 😮
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS!! ❤ One of my all time favorite albums! I had no idea there was a play made out of it! How creative!! I would love to see this or some version of it live in theater! 🎭 Granted, I grew up envisioning slightly different things in mind with these songs 🎵 as I'm a 90s kid, well, I was in like the 5th grade or so when the album came out,, but it was the jam!! I don't think any of us kids truly understood the lyrics especially considering that I surprisingly learned a few new things just by watching this and I thought I knew that album by the palm of my hand! Haha 😂🤣 But for kiss this day and age... WOW! I have a 16 year old daughter who is a junior in high school, also a theater kiddo and WOW WOW WOW! Did this nail it! And I thought I could relate to this album! HA! Y'all put it into a WHOLE NEW PERSPECTIVE!! At first when I saw this, I was trying to figure out a way to get her to watch it with me purely due to the songs LOL but I'm NOT cool and I'm also the LAST person she ever wants to hang out with these days 😢... And then AFTER she ditched me for friends and I watched this... then maybe let it run again in the background while i was multitasking... hehe I realized... maybe I don't want her to watch it because oh man oh man I know she can relate in a few ways!! For sure in that whole "parents just don't understand" way when kids are so silly sometimes. 🤭 Sure, there's 💯 most definitely some very naive parents out there, but I was a kid once, too and I have certainly not forgotten! Plus my love for Behavioral Psychology (& degree in it, work, etc.) My daughter truly acts like I was just born yesterday and it's the funniest thing ever! It's ok though, I love theater as much as she does and guess who is great at playing the 'dumby' role? 🤔💬🎭💭😏 🎬💥💨👋🏻🤓 🤫🤭 And I don't mind one bit. Actually. She should know better than that, but hey... Teenagers. Need I say more?? They think they know everything when sometimes.... Well, if you're a parent or work with youth, I don't need to explain any further. Although it definitely will be nice when she comes to age and realizes that hey, maybe I do know a thing or 2 about something and instead of taking my advice on something, she just says I'm wrong or something and goes and asks friends who have no clue. Eh. Alanis says it best, 💁🏼♀️ You Live, You Learn❣️ Or one would hope.😘🤙🏻
You cut out way too much of the amazing choreography. This is filmed like a 2nd grade chorus concert. What a shame .
Beggars can’t be choosers. And weren’t you complaining about other people complaining in this very comment section. Unbelievable.
this musical is haunting - wow !!!!!
Uninvited will always be amazing. It was the one song that stuck out to me when I saw this live
38:23 the way he just stared into the camera for a few seconds
57:23 when he looks at the camera and shakes his head as well
1:12:24 he looks again
32:17
i think iris did amazing but compared to lauren, i much prefer laurens because her voice and her movements were more there
I love all of the central characters but especially Frankie; I love it when women & girls of color are allowed to be angry and hurt and fucked up without being demonized by the narrative.
Yesssssss 😆😆😆 I love Frankie too. Frankie Healy is one of my dream roles.
This Iris woman shouldn't be outside of an insane asylum
Thank you so much for adding captions!! I've never seen A slime tutorial with captions before and it was SO helpful!
Is this the ART cast? Pre-b'way...I saw this at the ART before it blew up and when I tried to get tix again before it left ART, it was utterly impossible...once reviews came out, it was constantly sold out and then it made it to b'way! Everyone in the cast was so amazing!
This boot is of the Broadway cast.
❤Absolutely Amazing true to life ❤️ rendition. Wow! With Alanis Morrissette's music 🎶 used chronilogically, intense. A masterpiece that everyone can relate to in one way or another. Thank you. "Good art transforms the viewer".
Does anyone know when/where the story takes place?
The story takes place in Connecticut and I'm pretty sure it is set in whatever year it currently is.
Fantastic
Can they do a tour in Philippines? 😢
1:53:51 one of the best musical theatre moments I've ever seen holy shit
38:02 why does it look like Derek noticed he was being illegally recorded help
This looks sooo good.
What in the reese’s peanut butter fuck was that 😂😂😂😂 it was glorious
Came back to watch the memorable hilarity chaos that was Ironic 😂😂😂 bro what ACTUALLY THATS NOT IRONIC AND PHONEIX GETTIGN UP TO DEFEND HER AND FUCKING ENGLISH CLASS LMFAO
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the closed captioning! I wish more slime tutorials had this feature.
iris trying to fight a smile off their face as they get their standing ovation was so amazing :)
The tiny break at the "sex fiends" line is adorable 😂
Having never seen this show and seeing the title: B R O K E N S Q U I P ? (bmc fan here)
27:40
I saw this and Imma be honest I liked Dillion Klena more than Derek klena
This show stays with me. So many times I was just stunned and bawling for MJ and Bella #metoo The lack of acceptance for Frankie from a controlling, at times Narcissistic mother even though she wants to be better.
I get to see a lot of musicals, but seeing the touring cast of JLP is quite possibly one of the best live performances I've ever seen. Heidi Blickenstaff is absolutely phenomenal and Jade McLeod was amazing. I cried because of how beautiful and artistic this musical is. There's really nothing like it and I honestly don't think any other Mary Jane will compare to Heidi.
Just saw it yesterday and I think they were the best preformance ive ever heard vocally. My jaw was dropping and my ears were just amazed
i agree!! i just saw the tour, and was absolutely blown away by the entire cast, but specifically heidi and jade. both of their vocals and raw emotion in their performances are phenomenally insane. i’ve been lucky enough to see lots of shows over the last few years, and i can easily say that jlp has got to be one of my favorite live performances i’ve ever seen. love this show and the tour cast!
@@oliviabrown5132 i just saw them too!!!’ and Jade was the standout her performance of “you outta know” was AMAZING and i absolutely loved Hedi ugh it was just a great show
Saw them at the NAC last week. Jade and Heidi were fabulous.
Just saw Heidi Blickenstaff tonight and the whole show was astounding
Im not a bleeping fabric store!😀🤣😂😆😅😁
26:30
I loved a film of version of this as well!!😀😃😆😅
you miss so much on stage production zooming in the main characters. its not a sitcom
2:05:57 That riff breaks my heart every time. It’s like a cry so full of anguish, desperation, sadness and anger. Kathryn Gallagher definitely earned that Tony nomination.
They should make a follow-up play where it's just Bella, Frankie, and Jo beating Andrew's ass <3
@@ObamaMpreg You know what, that actually doesn’t sound like a bad idea.
It almost sounds like violin and I think it’s perfect
Why is Derek looking at me.
I'm glad I found slime instead of spending cabage bc this is ugh
This was so freaking awesome!
this is genuinely one of my favorite shows. second time watching it through, hope it tours eventually!!
US Tour hits the east coast next year
The tour just started in Philadelphia. I saw it three times . They blow this cast out of the water.
I saw it yesterday… well half of it. It was great though! I wish I had read or watched this before I went. It hit so close that I was crying so hard when the intermission started and I had to leave. So I just finished it here. I hope to see it live again (in full next time) Thanks so much for this upload.
the touring cast was amazing !!!! Heidi who played the mom was absolutely incredible and then there was Jade who played Jo who was 100% the stand out of the whole show!!! 10/10
what does the sign say that they hold up in 2:30?
I'm pretty sure it says "fuck racism"
Thanks for the subtitles!!
