    I have a significant amount of experience on Fliteboards (have all the boards Levi talks about - Ultra L vs Ultra). This is the single best video on this topic. It is truly about the foil, what going one above the water is all about take off (bye in large). Levi - nice work. Hope to ride with you guys the next time I am out in SF. JohnBino in the community.

    Hey Levi! Cole here. I bought the ultra L from you guys. As you said, experience will inform which board to go with. I have been doing downwinders in big swell on the Ultra L without any issue getting up. Definitely depends on the rider + surf and foil experience.
    I’m glad to have this be my main board, but agree it isn’t for everyone.

    Awesome content, Levi. I live in Foster City and will be buying a board in the next few weeks, doing my research now. I’ll reach out to you through your website, I’m thinking Flite so I’d like to give you my business as a local and your great content here.

    Hey, nice video. Very informativ, but what do you thing about the new Flite X Marc Newson boards and their new wave wings?

      The MN fliteboard is pretty cool, but should be considered as a completely different from fliteboard's main line up. The smaller motor, carbon mast, and fuselage is going to offer an elevated experience geared more for a performance ride.

    Baller on a budget, I'm going Saltbush Pro.

      Just Fyi Saltbrush is currently only available in the EVA soft top which is very limited availability right now. Don't delay put in your order sooner than later so you can get some time on the water before fall comes.

      @@BayFoils, who would you recommend the soft tops to? What are the pros and cons?

    • @BayFoils
      @BayFoils  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@lundylee5509 The Soft top is cool for an individual owner looking for something that can take a little more abuse than the fiberglass. The issue that we've seen in the past with soft top surfboards and SUPs is that they you can't repair them the same way you can a carbon or fiberglass board. The EVA top has to be removed to apply the epoxy and glass layup you end up with a big section of the board with no foam on it which doesn't look great. I don't have plans on using them for lessons as our lessons boards get banged up alot, We can repair carbon and fiberglass boards to the point where you couldn't even see the damage.
